Abstract

Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan sebagai Wahana untuk Membangun Karakter Toleransi Mahasiswa. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui peran pendidikan kewarganegaraan dalam membangun karakter toleransi mahasiswa di perguruan tinggi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Analisis data yang digunakan ialah analisis data interaktif, yang terdiri dari 1) pengumpulan data, 2) reduksi data, 3) penyajian data, 4) penarikan kesimpulan.  Perguruan Tinggi merupakan jalur pendidikan formal untuk mencetak masa depan bangsa, yang ternyata di dalamnya terdapat mahasiswa yang memiliki paham radikal yang berpotensi pada tindakan terorisme dan juga  melakukan tindakan pelanggaran SARA. Untuk menanggulangi tindakan yang mengancam masa depan keberagaman tersebut, maka perlu dibangun karakter toleransi agar kehidupan di perguruan tinggi menjadi aman dan kondusif. Pembangunan karakter toleransi melalui pendidikan kewarganegaraan ternyata dapat menanggulangi sikap atau tindakan yang berujung pada pelanggaran SARA di pendidikan tinggi. Peran seorang dosen sangat sentral, karena karakter mahasiswa dapat dibangun oleh seorang dosen yang kreatif dan inovatif di dalam menentukan strategi pembelajaran serta memiliki kompetensi pedagogik, profesional, sosial, dan kepribadian. Melalui peran seorang dosen yang memiliki kompetensi ternyata dapat membangun karakter toleransi mahasiswa di dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Ideology is an important part of human life, both as ideals and the system of thinking. Nevertheless not many realize, that ideology is a construction, either consciously or naturally formed. This article is a literature study, in an effort to uncover and illustrate contemplatively the development of education of ideology, especially by placing civic education at Perguruan Tinggi Keagamaan Islam Negeri (PTKIN) as a filter of the radicalisation. The strategy offered is the adoption of integrated curriculum to raise students’ conscientization. The article discusses the transformation of Pancasila ideology through: i) urgency of civic education in PTKIN; II) The role of PTKIN to convey Pancasila as national ideology; and (iii) an integrated curriculum model in civic education as an ideological transformation effort. The discussion will begin from the role of PTKIN as a government representative in implementing education, which is to educate citizens as well as assert Pancasila as a nation's ideology. PTKIN must be able to translate the universal values of Islam and Pancasila, without any conflict. At the same time, the citizenship education in it does not have to be interpreted as a doctrinal space, but rather a dialogical space between the universal values of which — manifested in both the theory and the legal evidence — in various events. It will also comparatively describe that “stick and carrot model” would rather keep away from education goals, only create fear, and not differ from the pattern of a radicalism. In conclusion, the integrated curriculum involves the creation of products from various branches of science, multidisciplinary, especially from the scientific work that has been produced by PTKIN, as well as studies adopted from Islamic Studies. By adopting the integrated curriculum, hopefully, will be formed a holistic understanding of students, so that with the conscientization, independently will be able to analyse the threat of radicalism for the existence of the Republic of Indonesia.

Abstract

The era of Society 5.0 is synonymous with internet technology that makes it easier for teachers to build social character, but it turns out that this era hurts student character development, namely, students experience a social character crisis, so many are anti-social and leave the local culture. The objectives of the study were to 1) determine the meaning of social character in the life of the nation and state, 2) examine the role of Civic Education in maintaining local culture in the era of society 5.0, and 3) examine teacher strategies in building social character in students in the era of society 5.0. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive research methods, so data collection techniques use interviews, observations, and document studies. The informants in this study were two teachers; observations were made of the Civic Education learning process and the behavior of students while at MTs N 4 Klaten through the study of syllabus documents and RPP. The data analysis technique used is interactive data analysis. The results showed that the meaning of social character in the life of the nation and state is to establish harmony between differences and maintain harmony between the state and citizens for the realization of unity and unity. In the era of society 5.0, maintaining local culture is very important, namely by educating and inspiring students to maintain and preserve the local wisdom that develops in their respective regions and wisely use internet technology so that it is not easily influenced by values or cultures from outside, especially those that conflict with the personality of the nation. The teacher's strategy in building social character in the era of Society 5.0 is by example, maintaining discipline and habituation, and creating a comfortable and conducive school culture. In addition, there are also supporting activities, namely social service, protecting the environment, and providing compensation to poor and orphaned children

Abstract

The research roadmap is an important element for the sustainability of higher education in the field of research. Demands for harmony between research conducted in tertiary institutions and national policies are the main key in responding to community needs in the educational aspect of globalization. The purpose of this study is to design a research roadmap for the IAIN Pontianak PAI Study Program in 2022–2030. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with supporting data in the form of research policies on the 2017–2045 National Research Master Plan document, the 2018–2028 National Religious Research Agenda, and the Research and Community Service Roadmap of IAIN Pontianak, as well as data records of the thesis titles of PAI IAIN Pontianak students from 2018–2021. According to the search results, 1) research by PAI students has accommodated RIRN through character research and out-of-school education; ARKAN on 4 themes and 8 sub-themes; and IAIN Pontianak's research roadmap through research with a local Kebornean pattern; and 2) the research roadmap for the PAI IAIN Pontianak study program is directed at achieving graduate profiles and the integration of PAI knowledge with other disciplines so that research results can be published.

Abstract

TNI AD sesuai dengan UU RI Nomor 34 tahun 2004 pasal 8 ayat (d), mempunyai tugas pokok melaksanakan pemberdayaan wilayah pertahanan di darat. Sejalan dengan hal tersebut, UU RI Nomor 3 Tahun 2002 pasal 1 ayat 2 yang menyatakan bahwa “Sistem Pertahanan Negara adalah sistem pertahanan yang bersifat semesta yang melibatkan seluruh warga negara, wilayah dan sumber daya nasional lainnya serta disiapkan secara dini oleh pemerintah dan diselenggarakan secara total, terpadu, terarah dan berlanjut”. Kodim 1417/Kendari sebagai salah satu Satkowil dengan pembinaan teritorial (Binter) bertujuan untuk mewujudkan potensi geografi, demografi dan kondisi sosial menjadi ruang, alat dan kondisi juang yang tangguh untuk menangkal ancaman musuh. Penyelenggaraan Binter yang dilakukan dapat melalui metode Komunikasi Sosial, sebagai metoda atau cara memelihara keeratan dan sebagai kemampuan dari prajurit dalam berkomunikasi dalam hal ini kompetensi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pengaruh kompetensi dan komunikasi sosial secara parsial maupun simultan terhadap pemberdayaan wilayah pertahanan di darat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan teknik pengambilan sampel secara acak kepada 84 prajurit Kodim 1417/Kendari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial kompetensi berpengaruh sebesar 82,8% dan komunikasi sosial sebesar 84,9%, sedangkan secara simultan baik kompetensi maupun komunikasi sosial berpengaruh sebesar 87,4% terhadap pemberdayaan wilayah pertahanan di darat.
