Abstract

SDGs have an international target of 2025 for decreased stunting and wasting in infants. Stunting indicates that there is a manifestation of the problem of nutrient deficiency and infection experienced since or before the child's birth period in a long period that can affect the development of the brain, the maturity of muscle function becomes slow causing the motor ability to be obstructed. The purpose of this research is to analyze the relationship status of stunting and non-stunted nutrition with the development of toddlers in Mangkupalas community health center. This research is a descriptive-analytical study with a cross-sectional approach. Large samples were 82 toddlers taken with accidental sampling technique from July to October 2019 at Mangkupalas Public health center (PHC). Analyzed by testing hypotheses of research using Chi-square test with CI 95%. The results showed that there is 41 sample (50%) stunting, and 41 samples (50%) not stunting. Development status was 43 (52.4%) appropriate, 32 (39.0%) doubt, and 7 (8.5%) deviation. Chi-Square test result p-value= 0.000. There are relationships between stunting and non-stunting nutrition status to the development of toddlers.

Abstract

A person's level of knowledge influences the application of the four pillars of balanced nutrition. Someone with good nutritional knowledge can easily apply the four pillars of balanced nutrition. A worker with the good nutritional condition will have optimal work quality and better body resistance. This study aims to determine the Relationship between nutritional knowledge and applying the four pillars of balanced nutrition to workers at PT Multi Kusuma Cemerlang in the Palaran working area, Samarinda City. This study uses an analytical observation design with a cross-sectional design. This research was conducted at PT. Multi Kusuma Brilliant. The sample in this study was 54 people who were taken by purposive random sampling. Data were obtained using a questionnaire and tested with fisher's statistical test. The results showed no significant relationship between nutritional knowledge and the application of the four pillars of balanced nutrition; the p-value was 1.000 (p>0.05). Abstract

Background: Athletes' nutritional knowledge has a very important role in choosing the right food and drink. Nutrition plays a role in the success of a team. However, most of the athletes' nutritional intake is not appropriate due to the lack of knowledge and understanding of athletes in choosing food. Nutritional status is also needed to maintain the degree of fitness and health, to help growth to support the achievement of athletes. Purpose : This study aims to determine the relationship between nutritional knowledge and nutritional intake with nutritional status of athletes at the Samkot Samarinda football school. Methods : This research is a cross sectional study design. The research was conducted in March 2022. There were 50 respondents in this study. Data on age, weight and height from anthropometric measurements. Knowledge data from the knowledge questionnaire and food intake from the food recall questionnaire. Nutritional status data from BMI/U calculations and classified based on PMK No 02 of 2020. Result : The results show that there is no significant relationship between knowledge and nutritional status with p value (P> 0.39), then there is no significant relationship between energy intake (P> 0.82), protein intake (P> 0.75) , fat intake (P> 0.82) and carbohydrate intake (P> 0.07) with the nutritional status of athletes. Consclusion : There is no significant relationship between nutritional knowledge and nutritional intake with nutritional status in athletes at the Samkot Samarinda football school.
