Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan persepsi siswa MI tentang pecahan ditinjau dari kemampuan Matematika. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Dalam penelitian ada 6 subjek yaitu 2 berkemampuan rendang, 2 berkemampuan sedang, dan 2 berkemampuan tinggi. Dan dari hasil penelitian berkemapuan rendah menganggap bahwa matematika itu sulit, sedangkan yang satu anak mengatakan disamping sulit matematika itu juga menyenangkan, kelompok berkemampuan sedang dari jawaban kedua siswa yang masuk kelompok sedang bahwa matematika itu cukup mudah, cuma menghafalkan rumus. sedangkan yang satu anak mengatakan disamping cukup mudah matematika itu juga menyenangkan dan Dari jawaban kedua siswa yang masuk kelompok tinggi bahwa materi Pecahan itu mudah,sangat menyenangkan dan menyukainya, meskipun dianggap gampang-gampang susah untuk pecahan bentuk Pecahan. Disamping itu siswa merasa harus percaya diri dan tidak mudah dipengaruhi oleh pendapat temannya. Penelitian dibuat untuk guru lebih memperhatikan kemampuan siswa dalam pembelajaran. Guru juga dapat menyusun perangkat pembelajaran yang dapat mengakomodasi perbedaan setiap kemampuan siswa.

Abstract

The industrial revolution has changed the way humans work that was originally completely manual now into automation / digitalization through innovation and thought that manifested in real form. The 4.0 revolution must be balanced with an education system and an increase in self-potential aimed at addressing the globalization era which is the character of the industrial revolution 4.0, the existence of the industrial revolution provides its own benefits for people's lives. Synthesis of the industrial revolution 4.0 will give birth to a prosperous society in development, while education has an important role in shaping future generations. With education it is expected to produce quality human beings, responsible and able to anticipate the future, especially in facing this era of the industrial revolution 4.0. Education in its broad meaning is always stimulating, accompanying the changes and development of humanity. In addition, educational efforts always lead, guide change and development of life and the lives of humanity in a better direction.

Abstract

Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan matematika dalam materi pecahan setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran Inquiry di kelas VI MI Al-Islammiyah Kedungrejo. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen, dengan desain yang digunakan adalah one group pretest-posttest design. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tes yang berbentuk essay sebanyak 7 soal, lembar observasi dan angket untuk mengukur kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Berdasarkan uji-t pada taraf signifikan α = 0,05 terhadap data posttest diperoleh thitung > ttabel yaitu 20,36 > 2,056 yang berarti Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dengan demikian hipotesis yang diajukan diterima kebenarannya. Peningkatan nilai gain score mencapai 0,59 dengan kategori sedang. Jadi, berdasarkan perhitungan tersebut maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Inkuiri dapat meningkatkan kemampuan matematika (Pecahan) VI MI Al-Islammiyah Kedungrejo

Abstract

Children have or strength in themselves to develop themselves, have a natural desire to learn and work, together with a strong desire to get pleasure. Children prefer to do activities than just being entertained or pampered. Children will always look for something new to do that is something that has more difficult and challenging levels. In addition, children also have the desire to be independent. Montessori class is one of the first to emphasize a warm and comfortable environment in child-based learning. Abstract

Students’ mathematical problem-solving skills regarding plane figures remain relatively low, primarily due to the use of conventional teaching methods that tend to be teacher-centered and focused on rote memorization. This situation results in students being unable to relate mathematical concepts to real-world situations and experiencing difficulties in solving problem-based questions. Therefore, an innovative, student-centered learning model is needed; one such model is Project-Based Learning (PjBL), which emphasizes active student engagement through contextual and collaborative projects. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of implementing the PjBL model on the problem-solving skills of fourth-grade students in the geometry unit at MIMA 26 Al-Falah Sumberejo Ambulu Jember during the 2025/2026 academic year. This study employs a quantitative approach with a pretest-posttest design. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, questionnaires, tests, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive and inferential statistics, with a Paired T-Test performed using SPSS. The results indicate a significant improvement in students’ problem-solving skills following the implementation of PjBL, with a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05. This indicates a significant difference between pretest and posttest results. Additionally, interview and observation findings suggest that PjBL enhances students’ collaboration, communication, and active participation in learning. The discussion indicates that the PjBL model is effective in improving students’ ability to understand problems, implement solutions, and evaluate the validity of those solutions. Project-based learning encourages students to think critically, work collaboratively, and reflect on their work. Thus, PjBL has proven to be an effective learning model for enhancing elementary school students’ mathematical problem-solving skills.
