Abstract

During this pandemic, the spreading of hoaxes related to COVID-19 with provocative titles is out of control. Youth organizations as a forum for youth to develop themselves, grow awareness and social responsibility from, for, and by youths were expected to overcome social problems faced by taking an active role in increasing public awareness and vigilance, primarily related to the COVID-19 hoax. Therefore, through this empowerment activity, Desa Bunga-Bunga youth organizations as active internet consumers were expected to increase their ability to think critically in filtering and interpreting information received from the internet and educate others to minimize the existence of hoax-related to COVID-19 in the community. The method of this activity was lecture and discussion of effective communication, hoax, and COVID-19. The participants’ knowledge was assessed by pre-test and post-test. The participants’ understanding of hoax and COVID-19 increased while the communication topic decreased. In conclusion, the participants could sort out hoaxes related to COVID-19.

Abstract

Sejak pertama kali kasus terkonfirmasi COVID-19 diumumkan pada awal Maret 2020, penyebaran COVID-19 di Indonesia mewabah hingga ke pelosok daerah. Jumlah warga desa dengan status Orang Dalam Pantauan (ODP) COVID-19 bertambah seiring dengan banyaknya pendatang dari wilayah yang melaporkan transmisi lokal. Oleh karena itu diperlukan pendampingan kepada ODP untuk meningkatkan kedisiplinan menjalankan isolasi/karantina mandiri dirumah dengan memberdayakan warga desa setempat dan berpartisipasi menjadi relawan pendamping ODP. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan peran serta masyarakat melalui pemberdayaan untuk tanggap terhadap pencegahan COVID-19 dengan menjadi relawan pendamping ODP di desa. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini terdiri dari tiga tahap. Petama, tahap persiapan yang meliputi koordinasi dengan pihak desa dan petugas kesehatan terkait, serta perekrutan relawan pendamping ODP, kedua tahap pelaksanaan meliputi kegiatan orientasi dan briefing kepada relawan, dan kegiatan pendampingan relawan kepada warga desa dengan status ODP, dan ketiga tahap evaluasi yaitu monitoring dan evaluasi kegiatan relawan. Jumlah pasien ODP yang di dampingi periode April-Mei sebanyak 15 orang. Setelah dilakukan pendampingan kepada pasien ODP, sebagian besar dari mereka tetap tinggal di rumah, dan juga lebih patuh menerapkan protokol kesehatan lainnya. Walaupun sebagian besar pasien ODP masih jarang menghubungi petugas kesehatan untuk melaporkan kondisi kesehatannya selama menjalani isolasi mandiri. Secara keseluruhan kegiatan ini disambut baik oleh pemerintah desa dan sangat diapresiasi oleh masyarakat setempat terutama mereka yang sedang menjalani isolasi mandiri.

Abstract

Toddlerhood is a period that is prone to experiencing problems of malnutrition, and development, it is because in infancy the body experiences relatively rapid growth and development compared to other periods. Screening for growth and development of pre-school children is an effort to improve the quality of children. The purpose of this activity is to identify the growth and development of pre-school children. The results of implementing TB / U growth screening (stunting) found the number of children who experienced stunting was 25 people (51%), and normal as many as 24 people (49%), while the developmental examination found 17 people (34.7%) experienced deviations, 11 people (22.4%) experienced doubtful developments and 21 people (42.9%) experienced appropriate developments. Conclusion: more stunting than children who are not stunting and more appropriate level of child development, but there are still children who experience developmental deviations.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan terhadap pengetahuan kader kesehatan tentang deteksi dini dan penanganan stunting di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Pamboang Kabupaten Majene. Metode penelitian menggunakan pre-post test design without control group. Sampel telah memenuhi kriteria inklusi kader posyandu yang aktif di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Pamboang. Alat pengumpul data digunakan pengukur tinggi badan dan lembar kuesioner. Analisis data dilakukan dengan pengujian statistik uji wilcoxon. Hasil menunjukkan nilai rata-rata pengetahuan kadersebelum diberikan pendidikan adalah 66.03, setelah pemberian pendidikan kesehatan nilai rata-rata 94.13, dan setelah 15 hari pemberian pendidikan kesehatan didapatkan nilai pengetahuan rata-rata 92.67. Hasil uji Wilcoxon diperoleh nilai signifikansi 0.001(p< 0.05). Pendidikan kesehatan meningkatkan pengetahuan kader tentang deteksi dini dan penanganan stunting.

Abstract

Bencana memiliki dampak besar pada masyarakat, salah satu dampak yang muncul adalah trauma. Trauma ini paling rentan terjadi pada kelompok usia anak-anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran trauma psikologis pada anak usia sekolah (7-12 tahun) pasca gempa di Desa Mekkatta Kecamatan Malunda. Desain penelitian deskriptif dengan teknik pengambilan sampel adalah total sampling dengan jumlah responden 50 orang. Memperoleh data dengan menggunakan Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire (SDQ) yang terdiri dari 25 item pertanyaan. Penelitian ditemukan karakteristik responden yaitu sebagian besar berusia 7 tahun sebanyak 10 orang (20.0%), dan sebagian besar berjenis kelamin perempuan sebanyak 28 orang (56.0%). Gambaran trauma psikologis pada anak usia sekolah (7-12 tahun) menunjukkan pada subskala kesulitan sebagian besar dalam kategori perbatasan yaitu 27 orang (54.0%), normal 18 orang (36.0%), dan sebagian kecil kategori abnormal 5 orang (10.0%). Sedangkan subskala kekuatan sebagian besar dalam kategori normal yaitu 27 orang (54.0%), perbatasan 19 orang (38.0%), dan sebagian kecil kategori abnormal 4 orang (8.0%). Anak-anak yang berada pada kategori perbatasan artinya mereka membutuhkan stimulus yang mendukung proses adaptasi sehingga mengarah ke normal. Pada anak-anak yang berada pada kategori perbatasan dan abnormal perlu dilakukan intervensi kesehatan seperti terapi bermain.

Abstract

Perkembangan dan pertumbuhan bayi erat kaitannya dengan pemberian nutrisi pada bayi melalui makanan pendamping ASI (MP-ASI). Pemberian makanan pendamping ASI dipengaruhi oleh kurangnya pengetahuan ibu. Edukasi merupakan salah satu intervensi keperawatan dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan yang lebih baik terhadap pemberian makanan pendamping ASI pada anak. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh edukasi terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan ibu tentang pemberian MP-ASI pada balita usia 6-24 bulan di Desa Bonde Utara Kecamatan Pamboang Kabupaten Majene. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Quasi Eksperimen dengan desain penelitian One Group Pre Test dan Post Test Design. Dengan jumlah sampel 30 orang diambil menggunakan Purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian rata-rata pengetahuan responden sebelum diberikan edukasi yaitu 84,27 dan sesudah diberikan edukasi pengetahuan responden meningkat menjadi 91,73 dengan p = 0,000 < α = 0,05. Kesimpulan ada pengaruh edukasi terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan ibu tentang pemberian MP-ASI pada balita usia 6-24 bulan di Desa Bonde Utara Kecamatan Pamboang Kabupaten Majene.Infant development and growth is closely related to providing nutrition to infants through complementary feeding (MPASI). The provision of complementary feeding is influenced by the mother's lack of knowledge. Education is one of the nursing interventions in increasing better knowledge of the provision of complementary foods to breast milk in children. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of education on increasing mother's knowledge about giving complementary feeding to toddlers aged 6-24 months in North Bonde Village, Pamboang District, Majene Regency. The research method used is Quasi Experiment with One Group Pre Test and Post Test Design research designs. With a sample of 30 people taken using purposive sampling. The results of the study the average knowledge of respondents before being given education was 84.27 and after being given education the knowledge of respondents increased to 91.73 with p = 0.000 < = 0.05. The conclusion is that there is an effect of education on increasing mother's knowledge about giving complementary feeding to toddlers aged 6-24 months in North Bonde Village, Pamboang District, Majene Regency.

Abstract

Stunting masih menjadi permasalahan gizi di Indonesia. Stunting adalah suatu kondisi yang menggambarkan status gizi kurang yang memiliki sifat kronis pada masa pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak sejak awal masa kehidupan yang dipastikan dengan nilai z-score tinggi badan menurut umur kurang dari minus dua standar deviasi berdasarkan standar pertumbuhan menurut WHO. Faktor penyebab stunting terdiri atas beberapa faktor yaitu salah satunya adalah status gizi bu selama periode 1000 HPK, serta pengetahuan ibu tentang status gizi pada balita. Penelitian ini dilakukan adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh edukasi gizi 1000 HPK terhadap pengetahuan ibu dalam pencegahan stunting di wilayah kelurahan baurung kabupaten majene. Quasy Eksperimen dengan menggunakan rancangan One group pre and post test design. Teknik sampling yang digunakan yaitu teknik penarikan sampel jenuh (sampel sensus) sehingga sampel yang didapatkan dalam penelitian ini berjulah 30 sampel. Dari 30 sampel ibu dilakukan pengukuran awal tentang pengetahuan ibu kemudian diberikan perlakuan pemberian edukasi pencegahan stunting dan setelah itu dilanjutkan dengan pengukuran postes. Menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata pengetahuan ibu sebelum diberikan edukasi yaitu 6.37, sesudah diberikan edukasi terjadi peningkatan rata-rata pengetahuan ibu menjadi 12.90. hasil dari analisis uji Paired sample t test didapatkan nilai 0.000<0.05.

Abstract

Background: Sexual violence against children is a very serious problem. One way that can be done to prevent it is to involve parents as the closest people to children who have a very important role in preventing sexual violence with an adequate level of knowledge and attitude. Object: To find out whether there is a relationship between parents' knowledge and attitudes with the prevention of sexual violence in children aged 6-12 years in Rangas. Methods: Descriptive analytic with a cross sectional study approach, the number of respondents is 41 people using the Purposive Sampling sample selection technique. Data collection using a questionnaire. Results: data analysis concluded that 70.7% of respondents had good knowledge, 29.3% of respondents had sufficient knowledge and 95.1% of respondents had good attitudes. Statistical test results for knowledge obtained a value of ρ = 0.734 > α = 0.05, for attitudes obtained a value of ρ = 0.453 <α = 0.05. Conclusion: knowledge and attitudes of parents do not have a significant relationship with the prevention of sexual violence in children, because the level of education of parents is still low so that attitudes are not formed that can be shown to families, especially children, do not have the ability to shape behavior to conduct early sexual education in children and considers that giving explanations to children about the positive and negative impacts of sexual health is taboo.

Abstract

Stunting is a type of chronic malnutrition caused by a lack of nutrient intake for a long time, causing growth problems. One of the causes of stunting is early marriage, which has an impact on a mother's knowledge. Mothers, as primary caregivers for toddlers, must get sufficient information about how to optimize child growth and development in the first 1000 days of life so that they can help prevent stunting in children. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was an effect of education on increasing the knowledge of early childhood mothers about preventing stunting in toddlers in the village of North Bonde. The research method used is pre-experimental design research with the type of one-group pretest posttest design. The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling by means of purposive sampling, so the samples used in this study amounted to 30. The results showed that before being given education, the number of mothers who had a good level of knowledge was 1 person (3.3%), mothers with a fair level of knowledge were 6 people (20%), and those with a poor level of knowledge were 23 people (76.7%). After being given education, there were 9 mothers with a good level of knowledge (30%), 12 mothers with a fair level of knowledge (40%), and 9 mothers with a poor level of knowledge (30%). the average knowledge before being given education was 46.00, after being given education there was an increase in the average knowledge to 64.50. In the results of the analysis of the marginal homogeneity test, it was found that education has an effect on increasing the knowledge of early childhood mothers about stunting prevention among toddlers in North Bonde Village. It is recommended for respondents to be more active in seeking information and increasing their knowledge from both the media and health workers regarding stunting prevention.
