Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian dengan metode survei, dari hasil penelitian diperoleh beban kerja objektif pekerja 1  dengan denyut nadi per menit pada pembajakan sawah datar, saat memindahkan traktor tangan dari sawah satu ke sawah yang lain dan miring masing-masing yaitu 111/menit, 123/menit dan 125/menit serta pekerja 2 dengan denyut nadi per menit pada pembajakan yang sama yaitu 114/menit, 120/menit dan 120/menit. Beban kerja subjektif pekerja 1 dengan keluhan sistem muskuloskeletal pada pembajakan sawah datar dari agak sakit 50% dan sakit 28,57%, pada saat memindahkan traktor tangan dari sawah satu ke sawah yang lain dengan prosen keluhan agak sakit5 3,57%, sakit 32,14% dan sakit 3,57%, dan pada sawah miring  dengan prosen keluhan agak sakit 60,71% dan sakit 50% serta pekerja pada pembajakan yang sama mempunyai keluhan muskoluskeletal masing-masing yaitu agak sakit 10,71% , 21,43%  dan agak sakit 25%. Produktivitas pekerja 1 dan pekerja 2 yaitu luas sawah per hari 10,45 are dengan penghasilan sebesar Rp.188,100 dan luas sawah 16,09 are dengan penghasilan sebesar Rp. 289,620 Productivity and Work Load of Hand Tractor Operator for Plowing Field of Subak Ayo’ in Babahan Village, Sub-district of Penebel, Tabanan BaliAbstract. This research was conducted by survey method. The results showed that operator’s objective load of operator 1 showed heartbeat per minutes when he plough flat and sloping land, when he moved his hand tractor from one part to other  fields were 111 heartbeats/minute, 123 heartbeat/minute and 125 heartbeat per minute respectively. Operator 2 working in the same works include 114 heartbeats/minute, 120 heartbeats/minute and 120 heartbeats/minute. Operator’s subjective load on operator 1 showed musculoskeletal system lamentation  on flat land  plough that were 50% less painful, and 28,57% painful when he moved the hand tractor on with percentage of lamentation were 53.57% less painful, 32.14 painful, and 3.57% very painful. On the other hand, he showed the percentage of lamentation on slopping land were 60.71 less painful, 50% painful. The research also found that the operators showed musculoskeletal system lamentation, that were 10.71% less painful and 21,43% painful and 25% very painful. Operator’s productivity of operator 1 and 2 per day was 0,11 hectare with income Rp. 188.100 and on 0,16 hectare, it generated income as high as Rp. 289,620.

Abstract

Salah satu pesaing utama komoditi bawang merah Kintamani adalah bawang merah Brebes. Pangsa pasar bawang merah Brebes lebih besar di bandingkan Kintamani baik pada level lokal Bali maupun nasional. Peningatan mutu komoditi bawah merah Kintamani perlu dilakukan melalui serangkaian perbaikan teknis budidaya agar lebih sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan keinginan konsumen. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kriteria atribut produk bawang merah yang dibutuhkan dan diinginkan oleh konsumen, pembobotan mutu komoditi bawang merah Kintamani dibandingkan bawang merah Brebes, dan aktivitas perbaikan yang harus dilakukan petani Kintamani. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Quality Fuction Deployment (QFD) dengan alat analisis yaitu matriks House of Quality. Kualitas bawang merah dievaluasi berdasarkan 6 jenis atribut mutu, yaitu kebersihan umbi, warna umbi, ukuran umbi, kesegaran umbi, tidak ada kebusukan pada umbi, dan aroma sedap dengan sekala rating kepentingan 1-5. Responden penelitian adalah 20 orang pedagang sayur di Pasar Kreneng dan Pasar Badung di Kota Denpasar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari ke-6 atribut mutu bawang merah yang dievaluasi, ukuran umbi memperoleh skor tertinggi dengan rata-rata 4,7 (sangat penting), skor tingkat kepuasan konsumen terhadap kualitas bawang merah Kintamai rata-rata 2,85 (kurang puas), lebih rendah dibandingkan bawang merah Brebes dengan skor 4,55 (sangat puas). Hasil analisis matriks House of Quality menunjukkan bahwa upaya perbaikan yang harus dilakukan oleh petani Kintamani adalah pengendalian hama dan organisme penggangu tanaman (OPT) pada tahapan budidaya bawang merah dengan bobot kepentingan tertingi yaitu sebesar 26%, dibandingkan aktivitas lainnya yang disarankan untuk memperbaiki mutu sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan keinginan konsumen.

Abstract

Kotak pendingin thermoelektrik merupakan salah satu alternatif sistem pendinginan ramah lingkungan yang mampu menggantikan sistem pendinginan konvensional berbasis kompresi uap. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengukur kinerja kotak berpendingin thermoelektrik tipe TEC1-12710 dengan mengalirkan air mengunakan sistem waterblock untuk mendinginkan sisi panas nya, dalam menurunkan suhu buah jeruk siam (Citrus nobilis) sebagai beban pendinginan. Penelitian dilaksanakan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) pola faktorial dengan dua faktor, yaitu variasi beban pendinginan (1 kg, 2 kg, dan 3 kg) dan lama penyimpanan (20, 40, dan 60 menit), yang masing-masing perlakuan diulang tiga kali. Parameter yang diamati meliputi suhu buah jeruk, suhu lingkungan, suhu udara dalam kotak pendingin, tegangan, arus DC, daya DC, dan nilai Coefficient of performance (COP). Dari hasil pengujian diperoleh perlakuan tidak berpengaruh nyata (p > 0,05) terhadap kinerja sistem pendingin. Nilai Coefficient of performance tertinggi dari perlakuan beban pendinginan berturut-turut 0,66; 0,62; dan 1,17 untuk beban pendinginan 1, 2, dan 3 kg. Sementara perlakuan berpengaruh nyata (p < 0,05) terhadap suhu pusat buah jeruk siam, suhu buah paling rendah yang dihasilkan kotak pendingin berturut-turut yaitu 24,6oC; 25,7 oC; dan 26,33 oC untuk beban pendinginan 1, 2, dan 3 kg. Uji BNT menunjukkan suhu buah terendah yang berbeda nyata (p < 0,05) dengan perlakuan lainnya diperoleh dari perlakuan beban pendinginan 1 kg dengan lama penyimpanan 1 jam dengan nilai 24,6oC.

Abstract

Leek is one of the horticultural crops that is widely cultivated by farmers in Candikuning Village since the last 10 years. One of the organic fertilizers used by leek farmers is postal organic fertilizer made from a mixture of chicken manure and husks (grain husks). The research aims to analyze the level of satisfaction of farmers and identify the factors that influence the satisfaction of farmers as consumers of fertilizer. Datacollected through a random survey using questionnaires and interviews with 50 farmers of leeks using organic fertilizer Postal in Candikuning Village in April-May 2019. Analysis was conducted using descriptive methods, Importance Performance Analysis (IPA), and Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI). The results of this study indicate that postal organic fertilizer users are dominated by productive age farmers(58%), elementary-junior high school level education (84%), side jobs in agriculture (56%). Farmers were satisfied (CSI: 72.27%) on the performance of Postal organic fertilizer. The conclusion of this study is the satisfaction of farmers who use organic fertilizer on leek plants by 72.27%, which means farmers are satisfied. Farmer satisfaction is influenced by the ability to increase yields, product prices and product packaging

Abstract

Asparagus is a vegetable that is very vulnerable to get physical damage after being harvested. To maintain the quality of freshness of asparagus during storage, proper packaging and storage is needed. This research aims to analyze and determine the best amount of perforation in the packaging of asparagus using 0.03mm polypropylene plastic thickness. First of all, Asparagus would be packaged in polypropylene plastic. Next step, the plastics would be perforated by 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 holes, and one specimen plastic would be left with no holes at all. This step was repeated 3 times. Afterward, these samples would be stored in refrigerator with a temperature of 6±2oC. The results showed that perforated polypropylene plastic with 2 holes is the best packaging because this type of polypropylene plastic was able to maintain weight 41.3%, texture 25.3668 N, color (L 50.91, a 4.52, b 33.10), freshness 4 (fresh), and total dissolved solids 9.4 °Brix of asparagus during storage.

Abstract

Frequency is the number of vibrations that occur in one second or the number of electrical waves or vibrations produced every second. Vibrations can be produced by machine elements whose function is to transmit power from a shaft to another using a belt ca lled a pulley. The pulley works in the direction of the applied force, sending motion and changing the direction of rotation. The aim of this research is to modify the pulley ratio to obtain a lower frequency and to obtain frequency values for each combi nation of pulley diameters on the vibrating table tool. Before being modified, this tool used 2 pulleys and produced large vibrations that caused agricultural products to bruise the skin. Then it was modified by adding 2 pulleys to lower the frequency valu e. The parameters observed are calculating the circumferential speed on each pulley, calculating the number of belt revolutions, setting the speed from pulley to pulley. The research results show that a lower frequency is obtained by using 4 combinations o f pulley diameters, where pulley A measures 5cm with a rotation of 1496 rpm, pulley B measures 20cm with a rotation of 374 rpm, pulley C measures 7cm with a rotation of 374 rpm, pulley D measures 30cm with a rotation 87.27 rpm. The frequency value produced by 4 pulleys, namely 0.105 Hz, is lower than with 2 pulleys, namely 3 Hz. This test was carried out with a wooden box filled with agricultural products, namely seed potatoes, which was run for 120 minutes. As a result, the seed potatoes only experienced s hifts to the right and left and some were tipped over but did not experience physical damage

Abstract

This research aims to obtain the best concentration of coconut water and citric acid as a solution to extend Chrysanthemum cut flowers’ freshness period. The research is consisted of 25 experimental units, each experiment was repeated twice to gain 50 experimental units. The research uses a completely randomized design (CRD) with an experimental factor. The factor is a combination of coconut water and citric acid. The concentration of coconut water which was used 0%, 4%, 8%,12% and 16% meanwhile the concentrations of citric acid which was used 0 ppm,100 ppm, 200 ppm, 300 ppm, and 400 ppm. The parameters which is measured are;the flower‘s freshness period, percentage of flower bloom, the absorbed solution and the flower’s color. Based on the results of the research, it is known that the best treatment is the concentration of coconut water 4% and citric acid 400 ppm that will gain 11 days of flowers’ freshness period, the percentage of flowers’ bloom is 65.5%, the total absorbed solution is 177.5 ml with flower’s color becoming very faded and slightly brown.

Abstract

The high production of potatoes in Indonesia is not balanced with proper post - harvest handling, so many potatoes are damaged during storage. Packaging with perforations can maintain the shelf life of potato tubers. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of packaging perforation on the quality of consumption potatoes during storage and determine treatments that can maintain the quality of consumption potatoes during storage. Research with a completely randomized design (CRD) with packaging perfo ration treatment (0.42%, 0.63%, and 0.84%). Each experimental unit was repeated 3 times. The parameters measured were weight loss, air humidity, air temperature, color difference, and texture of potato tubers. The rate of increase in weight loss for the co ntrol treatment, packaging without perforation, 0.42% perforated packaging, 0.36% perforated packaging, and 0.84% perforated packaging were respectively: 0.09 g/day, 0.025 g/day, 0.036 g/day, 0.051 g/day, 0.058 g/day. The rate of change in air humidity for each treatment was: 0.10%, 0.36%, 0.30%, 0.23%, 0.16%, and the rate of change in packaging temperature was: 0.03 o C/day, 0.056 o C/day, 0.020 o C/day, 0.026 o C/day and 0.033 o C/day. The color difference change rates for each treatment were: 0.24/day, 0.36/day, 0 .26/day, 0.27/day, and 0.23/day. The rates of change in texture of each treatment were: 0.13 /day, and 0.53 N/day, 0.65 N/day, 0.53 N/day, 0.56 N/day and 0.63 N /day. Oxygen adequacy is a parameter determining the quality of stored potato tubers, so the be st treatment is 0,84% perforated packaging with a weight loss value of 8,77%, humidity 69.8%, temperature change 28.8 o C, color difference 6.95, texture 63,4 N

Abstract

Supply chain system of tribang fish currently does not provide welfare to people business, especially small traders. The purpose of this study are (1) to know the structure, mechanism, and institutional supply chain of tribang fish; (2) find strategic steps to improve the performance of tribang fish supply chains. This study consisted of two stages, the first stage knowing the structure, mechanism, institutional supply chain using qualitative descriptive analysis, and the second stage knowing the priority recommendations using the Analitycal Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. Sampling of supply chain actors uses purposive sampling, snowball sampling, and non probability sampling methods. The results showed that tribang fish supply chain consisted of nine chain flow patterns where the tribang fish supply chain mechanism was traditional and the tribang fish supply chain institution was general trading. Based on AHP method, priority recommendations to improving the performance of tribang fish supply chains are criteria of increasing product added value, alternative of responsiveness (supply chain reaction capabilities), and indicator of cycle order fulfillment are the most important priorities.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the optimal was time and cold storage temperature for the quality of cauliflower. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of two factors. The first factor as the storage temperature and the second factor the display time during the showcase. The first factor consists of two levels, namely: showcase temperature of 8 ± 1°C, and showcase temperature of 15± 1°C and added a control. The second factor consists of four levels, namely: storage for 0 hours, storage for 12 hours, storage for 16 hours, storage for 20 hours and repeated for 3 replications. Cauliflower as control was stored at room temperature (28 ± 1°C). The quality parameters observed in this study included weight loss,O2 consumption rate, color ( color difference), organoleptic tests including shelf life and damage level. The best results showed at a temperature of 8 ± 1°C and a storage time of 20 hours (P1A3) with an O2 consumption rate parameter of 143.65 ml / kg.hour, weight loss with a value of 1.69%, color difference with a value of 7.33, shelf life with a score value 4.3, and the level of damage with a score of 4.2
