Abstract

This study was conducted to analyze the effect of purchasing strategies, namely negotiations, relationships with suppliers, cost management, and supply management on company performance in Jabodetabek which is moderated by purchasing integration. This research was obtained from primary data in the form of questionnaire results that were distributed for five months (February 2019-June 2019). This questionnaire was filled in by respondents who worked as procurement in a company located in Greater Jakarta. Respondents will fill out a questionnaire using a Likert scale with a scale of 1-6, namely "Strongly Disagree" and 6 is "Strongly Agree".The conclusion of this research is negotiation, supplier relations, cost management, and supply management have a significant effect on company performance in Jabodetabek. Purchasing integration moderates the effect of supplier relationships on company performance in Jabodetabek. However, the integration of purchasing does not moderate the effects of negotiation, cost management and supply management on the company's performance in Jabodetabek.

Abstract

Currently based on data from APJII the number of internet users in Indonesia reaches 143.26 million or around 54.68% and the number of e-commerce transactions reaches Rp 85 trillion in 2017, so this is a potential development of e-commerce in Indonesia. But according to data from Google Temasek research, one of the e-commerce Elevenia has been downgraded from I-4 quarter in 2017. PT XL Axiata sold Elevenia’s shares and was bought by Salim Group, then their made a new strategy to increase the number of purchases. In this research, there are 4 variables that can influence buying intention : Celebrity Endorser, Shopping Orientation, Online Trust, and Prior Online Purchase Experience. This research aims to determine the effect of these four variables on Buying Intention. The method used is a quantitative method with the type of research is descriptive. Sampling method used is purposive non-probability sampling with 105 respondents. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. This research found that celebrity endorsers, shopping orientations, online trusts, and prior online purchase experience have positive and significant influence simultaneously towards buying intention by 59%, and the rest 41% is influenced by other variables not examined in this research.

Abstract

The purpose of research at PT HM Sampoerna, Tbk is to assess the company's business in the period 2013-2017. The results of the business assessment of each company can be information for investors and creditors to make a decision whether it is good for them to rotate the assets they have in the company. Business performance assessment conducted by the author at PT HM Sampoerna, Tbk is analyzing the SWOT, PORTER, PEST (Political, Economic, Social, and Technology) strategies, analyzing financial statements, and analyzing bankruptcy. The author uses a mixture of qualitative and quantitative methods in the research approach by using the income statement and balance sheet obtained from secondary data where all data is publicly available and can be accessed by anyone. Data analysis uses library research and analysis procedures. The results showed the level of leverage ratios and the level of liquidity ratios at PT HM Sampoerna, Tbk experienced fluctuations in each year but remained above the average industry company. While the level of profitability ratios has increased and is also well above the average industry company. The results of the analysis of the z score of PT HM Sampoerna, Tbk are far from the level of bankruptcy. Researchers can give advice to PT HM Sampoerna, Tbk to improve their income by changing credit sales to cash sales and also by looking at the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and obstacles owned by PT HM Sampoerna, Tbk.

Abstract

This study aims to answer questions about how the Indonesian House of Representatives' social media contributes to shaping public opinion on legislative policies. Data was obtained through in-depth interviews with the Indonesian House of Representatives' social media managers and content analysis of posts on X (Twitter), Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. The results of the study show that social media plays a significant role in increasing transparency, encouraging public participation, and strengthening policy literacy through interactive two-way communication. However, challenges such as negative comments and the spread of misinformation remain major obstacles. To overcome these challenges, adaptive and data-driven communication strategies are needed to manage emerging issues. This study shows that social media is an effective strategic tool for disseminating legislative policies and encouraging active public involvement in the legislative process. These findings highlight the importance of optimising social media as a means of building constructive relationships between parliament and the public. Penelitian ini bertujuan menjawab pertanyaan mengenai bagaimana kontribusi media sosial DPR RI dalam membangun opini public terkair kebijakan legislatif. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam dengan pengelola media sosial DPR RI serta analisis konten unggahan di platform X (Twitter), Instagram, TikTok, dan YouTube. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media sosial berperan signifikan dalam meningkatkan transparansi, mendorong partisipasi publik, dan memperkuat literasi kebijakan melalui komunikasi dua arah yang interaktif. Kendati demikian, tantangan seperti komentar negatif dan penyebaran misinformasi masih menjadi hambatan utama. Untuk mengatasi tantangan tersebut, diperlukan strategi komunikasi yang adaptif dan berbasis data guna mengelola isu-isu yang muncul. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa media sosial merupakan alat strategis yang efektif untuk menyosialisasikan kebijakan legislatif serta mendorong keterlibatan masyarakat secara aktif dalam proses legislasi. Temuan ini menyoroti pentingnya optimalisasi media sosial sebagai sarana membangun hubungan yang konstruktif antara parlemen dan masyarakat.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze intercultural communication among newly admitted nuns, particularly in the context of their social and spiritual adaptation within a multicultural monastic environment. In many monasteries, nuns come from diverse cultural, linguistic, and customary backgrounds, making the communication process both a challenge and an opportunity to foster sisterhood. Employing a qualitative approach with a phenomenological method, this research draws its data from junior nuns originating from various regions in Indonesia, including Sumba, Manado, Padang, and Medan. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with four nuns who have been living in the monastery for 1 to 3 years. The findings indicate that despite their cultural differences, the nuns are able to adapt and establish effective communication within the monastic community. Key factors that facilitate this process include universal religious values, a shared sense of purpose, and openness to others. Additionally, the study highlights the significant role of religious symbols and shared rituals in fostering unity and a sense of belonging among the nuns in the face of cultural diversity. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis komunikasi antarbudaya pada para suster yang baru memasuki kehidupan biara, khususnya dalam konteks adaptasi sosial dan spiritual di lingkungan yang multikultural. Di dalam biara, para suster kerap berasal dari latar belakang budaya, bahasa, dan adat istiadat yang beragam, sehingga proses komunikasi menjadi tantangan sekaligus peluang untuk mempererat rasa persaudaraan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode fenomenologi. Narasumber penelitian adalah para suster yunior yang berasal dari berbagai daerah di Indonesia, seperti Sumba, Manado, Padang, dan Medan. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam terhadap empat suster dari beberapa biara di Indonesia, yang baru menjalani kehidupan religius selama 1 hingga 3 tahun terakhir. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun memiliki latar belakang budaya yang berbeda, para suster mampu beradaptasi dan membangun komunikasi yang efektif dalam komunitas biara. Faktor-faktor seperti nilai-nilai religius yang bersifat universal, tujuan hidup bersama, dan sikap terbuka menjadi kunci dalam memfasilitasi komunikasi antarbudaya. Penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa simbol-simbol keagamaan dan ritual bersama memainkan peran penting dalam menyatukan para suster di tengah perbedaan budaya yang ada.
