Abstract

Berita Covid-19 telah menggemparkan dunia tak terkecuali Indonesia, yang tentunya berdampak terhadap semua aspek kehidupan salah satunya bidang pendidikan. Sistem pembelajaran di sekolah kini dialihkan menjadi Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh (PJJ). Keberhasilan pembelajaran sangat ditentukan oleh model pembelajaran yang diterapkan. Pengintegrasian antara pembelajaran dan teknologi merupakan suatu inovasi yang dapat dihadirkan sebagai solusi PJJ yang menarik. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi deskriptif dengan menyebar angket tertutup dalam bentuk google form. Teknik Analisa data yang digunakan adalah Teknik analisis isi dengan metode analisis deskriptif. Hasil angket dianalisis berdasarkan jawaban 45 responden penelitian yaitu peserta didik kelas XI MIPA SMAN Pintar Provinsi Riau.berdasarkan analisis data, penggunaan YouTube dalam model Project Based Learning dinilai sangat menarik dan membantu peserta didik untuk menuangkan kreativitas dalam membuat video untuk diupload. Konsep pembelajaran ini tetap dapat dijadikan alternatif pembelajaran yang mampu meningkatkan kreativitas ketika keadaan sudah kembali normal.

Abstract

One of the problems in education is that educators have not been able to prepare innovative teaching materials in accordance with the development of science and technology. Educators are required to provide innovations to increase students’ interest in learning, especially in industrial revolution 4.0. This activity aims to provide understanding and skills to students and teachers in using electronic-based teaching materials and training of e-magazine making in chemistry learning. The activity was carried out at a public senior high school (SMAN Pintar), Riau Province, which is located in the city of Taluk Kuantan. This school is a boarding school that has a good infrastructure and facilities to support the optimization of learning science and technology in the industrial revolution 4.0. The method of implementing this program is to give a socialization about 21st century learning and the use of e-magazine as innovative teaching materials, followed by training and mentoring of teachers in making e-magazine using the Kvisoft Flipbook Maker Pro application. The results of this program are e-magazine products, usage manuals, and review books program. This activity received a positive response from students and teacher of SMAN Pintar Riau Province.Bahasa Indonesia Abstrak: Salah satu masalah dalam dunia Pendidikan adalah pendidik belum bisa menyiapkan materi ajar yang inovatif dan sesuai dengan perkembangan IPTEK. Seiring dengan tuntutan revolusi industri 4.0 yang mengedepankan IT, pendidik dituntut untuk dapat memberikan inovasi untuk meningkatkan minat belajar peserta didik. Salah satu inovasi yang bisa digalakkan adalah membuat bahan ajar berbasis IT. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman dan keterampilan kepada peserta didik dan guru dalam menggunakan bahan ajar berbasis elektronik melalui sosialisasi dan pelatihan pembuaatn e-magazine dalam pembelajaran kimia. Kegiatan pengabdian dilaksanakan di SMAN Pintar Provinsi Riau merupakan sebuah boarding school yang memiliki infrastruktur dan sarana prasaran sudah memadai sehingga diperlukan usaha pengoptimalan IPTEK agar sekolah ini bisa berperan serta dalam revolusi industri 4.0. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian ini meliputi pemberian materi sosialisasi tentang pembelajaran abad 21, penggunaan e-magazine sebagai bahan ajar, pelatihan dan pendampingan guru dalam pembuatan e-magazine menggunakan aplikasi Kvisoft Flipbook Maker Pro. Hasil kegiatan ini berupa buku panduan program, buku tinjauan program, dan produk e-modul yang dibuat oleh tim EMBER KLASIK serta guru hasil pelatihan. E-magazine adalah modul elektronik yang memiliki tampilan seperti majalah. Kegiatan pengabdian ini memperoleh respon positif dari peserta didik dan guru SMAN Pintar Provinsi Riau.

Abstract

Hedonisme mengalami pergeseran makna seiring dengan perkembangan zaman. Dewasa ini, paham hedonisme sudah jauh berbeda dari paham etika hedonisme Epicurus. Hedonisme masa kini disandingkan dengan makna kemewahan, gaya hidup berlebihan dan cenderung kepada perilaku konsumtif. Prinsip hedonisme tidak hanya mewabah untuk anak muda namun juga golongan dewasa dan orang tua, terutama kaum sosialita selalu direpresentasikan sebagai makna pola hidup hedonis. Sejatinya, Epicurus menyatakan bahwa hedonisme adalah hidup yang mengutamakan level kenikmatan dengan mempertimbangkan ketenangan. Level kebahagiaan dan ketenangan yang baik berada pada pola sederhana dan secukupnya. Artikel ini disusun berdasarkan hasil studi literatur terhadap 23 jurnal yang membahas mengenai hedonisme.  Studi literature bertujuan untuk melihat pergeseran makna hedonisme dan memberikan penjabaran paham etika hedonisme Epicurus. Representasi hedonisme dilihat dari gaya hidup mahasiswa, gaya hidup sosialita, dan review film kemudian dibandingkan dengan konsep awal yang dikemukakan oleh Epicurus. Pergeseran makna antara paham Epicurus dan paham hedonisme masa kini mengharuskan kita menyadari bagaimana cara menyikapi sikap hedonisme yang benar. Sikap yang diambil bertujuan menghindari dampak tidak baik dari perilaku hedonisme yang mengarah pada kebiasaan konsumtif dan pemuasan diri. Untuk menghindari kesalahan penafsiran hedonisme, hedonisme harus dipahami secara seimbang antara jasmani, rohani, individu dalam kehidupan sosial dan sebagai makhluk Tuhan.

Abstract

Educators are required to provide innovations to increase students' interest in learning, especially in industrial revolution 4.0. The activity was carried out in SMAN Pintar which is located in Taluk Kuantan. SMAN Pintar is a boarding school that has adequate infrastructure and facilities, it requires optimization of science and technology, because of that this school can participate in the 4.0 industrial revolution. The method of implementing this program is the provision of material in socialization about 21st-century learning and the use of e-magazine as companion teaching materials, followed by training teachers in making e-magazine using Kvisoft Flipbook Maker application. The results of this program are e-magazine products, usage manuals, and program review books. The evaluation of the program is follow-up by giving a post-test questionnaire and a final review of the program book. This activity received a positive response from students and teachers of SMAN Pintar, Riau Province.

Abstract

Today, in a pandemic situation, the learning system in schools is now being diverted through Distance Learning (PJJ). The challenge that must be resolved by educators are to present a PJJ concept that is in the line with the free learning policy. The success of education today is largely determined by the approach used, especially for chemistry subjects that have high urgency at the SMA/MA level. One approach that is considered suitable to be applied is the heutagogy approach, integrated with using social media in learning. YouTube can be used as publication media in Project-Based Learning (PjBL). The form of research that used is library research and descriptive analysis methods as technique analysis. This application helps increase creativity because it starts with fundamental questions that encourage students' curiosity. This learning concept can still be used as alternative learning that can increase creativity when this pandemic over.

Abstract

This study focuses on analyzing how trend research about creative thinking ability in chemistry. This research contains an analysis study with the number of articles published in chemistry education with the research in Indonesia from 2018-2022. Studies are carried out on 23 journal articles, including from different journals with the scope in Indonesia search engine journal uses publish or perish with determined inclusive criteria. Publish or Perish is a software that retrieves and analyze academic citations and uses a variety data of sources. Step analysis started with reading the abstract and data reduction also data inference based on the research instrument used. Topic research involves publication number, types of research, chemistry material studied, research subject, and data analysis technique. The main research is quantitative research on hydrocarbon material with an analysist technique by using mean. Based on the result, some recommendations can be guidance for further study so that the research result is more useful and has an impact on Indonesian life especially in teaching and learning terms.

Abstract

An individual's success in the 21st century can be measured by their ability to utilise knowledge to enhance their personal qualities. This development can be initiated by enhancing fundamental scientific knowledge. The objective of this study is to examine the correlation between research advancements and socioscientific difficulties in the field of chemistry, with the purpose of aiding advanced researchers in identifying new cutting-edge research topics.  This literature evaluation includes 20 selected articles based on specific inclusion criteria: 1) past five years (2018-2020). 2) accredited by SINTA and indexed at Scopus. 3) Research opportunities in Indonesia 4) Keyword: Journal on socio-scientific issues and reaction rates.  Academic journals can be discovered by utilising the search engine "Publish or Perish." The Socio Scientific Issue (SSI) technique is predominantly used to assess science literature among secondary students. The content of socio-scientific concerns reveals minimum controversion of alcohol associated with the reaction order idea. Delivering this issue will add information and modify the behavior of students in response to the spread of the issue. The outcome of this study may be utilised as a review of the study. The measuring component still minimalizes done is awarness of environment as the result of the SSI approach.

Abstract

The quality of a good learning environment will affect the effectiveness of a learning model in achieving several competencies in science learning. This research aimed to investigate students' perceptions of the learning environment towards the implementation of Socioscientific Inquiry Based Learning (SSIBL) model on chemical kinetics material. The sample in this study involved 36 students who took Basic Chemistry I course. The data were collected by administering the WIHIC Questionnaire (What is Happening in This Classroom?) consisting of 50 questions. In the WIHIC questionnaire that has been distributed there are 7 indicators that will determine the quality of the learning environment created including student closeness, lecturer support, involvement, investigation, task orientation, collaboration, and student equality. The  questionnaire data were analyzed using the SPPS program by inferring the mean and standard deviation that had been distributed to 69 respondents. The results of the analysis showed that overall the indicators measured were in the very good category. The results of the One way ANOVA analysis state that there is no significant differences in the learning environment of students based on their school origin or university entrance route. This shows that the SSIBL model is a learning alternative that can created a good quality learning environment for all levels of student ability based on school origin and university line.

Abstract

Permasalahan sosial dalam kehidupan seharusnya menjadi suatu hal yang menjadi sarana untuk meningkatkan kemampuan elaborasi mahasiswa. Penyajian isu dalam pembelajaran adalah suatu hal yang dapat dijadikan referensi dalam penyajian pembelajaran. Tahapan penyajian dalam LKM kinetika kimia mengikuti sintaks SSIBL yang terdiri dari tahap Ask, Find Out, dan Act yang diadopsi kedalam kegiatan pembelajaran pada LKM yakni Tahukah kamu sebagai tahapan awal pengenalan isu kepada mahasiswa, tahapan mari memprediksi untuk menggiring mahasiswa menemukan sebuah pertanyaan terkait isu, tahapan mari elaborasi yakni tahapan untuk mahasiswa mencari berbagai referensi untuk menemukan solusi dari isu, kemudian tahapan mengambil keputusan terkait dengan isu apakah mengemukakan alasan setuju atau tidak setuju. Penilaian akhir dari keputusan yang diambil yakni berdasarkan kategori alasan yang harus memenuhi kriteria alasan formal dan pertimbangan resiko. LKM divalidasi oleh ahli materi dengan mengahsilkan beberapa revisi untuk perbaikan konten LKM. Hasil validasi mendapat skor 0,95 dengan kategori sangat valid.

Abstract

Pembelajaran abad ke-21 menuntut peserta didik memiliki empat kecakapan utama, yaitu cara berpikir (kreativitas dan inovasi), cara bekerja (komunikasi dan kolaborasi), alat untuk bekerja (pengetahuan umum dan keterampilan ICT), serta cara hidup (kesadaran budaya dan kompetensi diri). Perkembangan era digital memunculkan berbagai platform pembelajaran, namun peran guru tetap tak tergantikan sebagai pengajar dan pendidik. Artikel ini membahas mengenai salah satu platform evaluasi yang mengkombinasikan konsep gamifikasi. Data didapatkan melalui studi literatur terhadap 20 jurnal dengan kata kunci gamifikasi, evaluasi, deep learning, dan wordwall. Pendekatan joyful learning yang menciptakan lingkungan belajar menyenangkan dapat menumbuhkan motivasi intrinsik dan rasa ingin tahu siswa. Salah satu strategi yang selaras adalah gamifikasi, yang mengintegrasikan elemen permainan untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan dan motivasi belajar.
