Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk melihat perbedaan motivasi, hasil belajar dan melihat hubungan antara motivasi belajar dan hasil belajar peserta didik dengan menerapkan strategi pembelajaran Numbered Heads Together (NHT) dalam model problem based learning (PBL) untuk pokok bahasan asam-basa di SMAN 4 Pekanbaru. Populasi yang terlibat pada penelitian ini ialah semua peserta didik kelas XI MIA yang terdiri dari enam kelas. Analisis data penelitian digunakan uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas. Pengambilan dan penentuan sampel menggunakan metode randomized control group pretest-postest diperoleh tiga kelas yaitu kelas XI MIA 1 untuk kelas eksperimen 1, kelas XI MIA 2 untuk kelas eksperimen 2 dan kelas XI MIA 4 untuk kelas kontrol. Hasil pengujian hipotesis dengan uji-annova membuktikan terdapat perbedaan signifikan motivasi belajar dan  hasil belajar peserta didik antara kelas eksperimen  dan kelas kontrol. Di mana untuk motivasi belajar dan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas eksperimen 1 lebih tinggi dibanding peserta didik pada kelas eksperimen 2 dan kontrol. Penentuan hubungan motivasi terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji korelasi person yang membuktikan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antara motivasi terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada kelas yang menerapkan strategi pembelajaran NHT dalam model pembelajaran PBL dengan kategori korelasi sedang.

Abstract

DEVELOPMENT OF E-MODUL BASED ON MOODLE IN HYDROCARBON TOPICAbstractThis study aims to develop e-module with Moodle applications on hydrocarbon materials. This e-module with Moodle application has several advantages, namely learning is more exciting, and learning remotely can be done where educators can still control learning, assessment and giving badges to students who succeed in being the best. This Moodle-based e-module also has discussion forums, quizzes and CBT-based exercises, and there is a feedback page and has an access-right restriction security feature where unregistered users cannot open the e-module. This research method is development research (Research and Development, R & D) with the ADDIE model development model with the instrument of data collection is the validation sheet and questionnaire of respondents. The data analysis technique is by calculating the percentage score of the validation assessment and user response. The results showed that the Moodle-based e-module developed fulfilled very valid criteria from aspects of visual communication, learning design, content, and ease of use with a score of 90.23% in terms of material and 95.67% in terms of media. The results of the test responses of students and teachers each scored 91.67% and 93.45%.. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar e-modul dengan aplikasi Moodle pada materi hidrokarbon. E-modul dengan aplikasi Moodle ini memiliki beberapa kelebihan yakni pembelajaran lebih menarik dan dapat dilakukan dengan jarak jauh dimana pendidik masih dapat mengontrol kegiatan pembelajaran, penilaian dan memberikan lencana bagi peserta didik yang berhasil menjadi yang terbaik, terdapat forum diskusi, kuis dan latihan berbasis CBT serta terdapat laman feedback dan memiliki fitur keamanan pembatasan hak akses dimana pengguna yang tidak terdaftar tidak dapat membuka e-modul. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan model pengembangan model ADDIE. Instrumen penelitian berupa lembar validasi dan kuisioner responden. Teknik analisis data yaitu dengan cara menghitung skor persentase penilaian validasi dan respon pengguna. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa e-modul berbasis Moodle yang dikembangkan memenuhi kriteria sangat valid dari aspek komunikasi visual, desain pembelajaran, isi, dan kemudahan penggunaan dengan skor 90,23% dari segi materi dan 95,67% dari segi media. Hasil uji respon peserta didik dan guru masing-masing memperoleh skor 91,67% dan 93,45%.

Abstract

This purpose of this study was to determine the influence of ICT utilization as pedagogical and professional competencies to support the professionalism of chemistry teachers. This study used a quantitative method through a survey approach with 157 chemistry teachers. The survey was conducted to obtain the data through questionnaires. The results indicated that the ICT utilization in the learning as pedagogical and profesional competencies significantly influenced toward the professionalism of chemistry teachers with the sig. 0,000<α = 0.05. Simultaneously, the use of ICT in the learning as a pedagogical competence and the ICT utilization in communicating and developing themselves as professional competencies had a significant effect on supporting the professionalism of high school chemistry teachers that was indicated by the analysis result of the F 0,000 test probability value. It was smaller than α = 0.05. The use of ICT needs to be improved by designing various efforts in the learning process i.e.,  conducting an education and ICT training to achieve the teacher skills in utilizing the ICT to support the teacher professionalism. The chemistry teachers should utilize the ICT in learning and follow an ICT training. The local government has to fix the facility and infrastructure as well as the evaluation and regulation of the ICT utilization in school to suppert the teacher professionalism.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul pembelajaran kimia berorientasi chemoentrepreneurship (CEP) pada materi polimer di kelas XII SMA/MA. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kampus Pendidikan Kimia Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan (FKIP) Universitas Riau. Waktu penelitian dimulai pada bulan September-Desember 2019. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian Research and Development (RnD) dengan model penelitian 4D yang terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminate. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti hanya sampai pada tahap pengembangan. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa validasi dan lembar responden. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan evaluasi tingkat validitas, tingkat kepraktisan oleh guru dan tingkat daya tarik menurut siswa.Hasil chemoentrepreneurship oriented chemistry learning module (CEP) pada materi polimer mendapatkan nilai sebesar 92,35%. dengan kriteria valid, respon guru sebagai pengguna terhadap kepraktisan modul mendapat nilai 91,67% dan respon siswa sebagai pengguna terhadap daya tarik modul mendapat nilai 90,67% dengan kriteria menarik. Dengan demikian, modul pembelajaran kimia berorientasi chemoentrepreneurship (CEP) pada materi polimer kelas XII SMA/MA telah berkembang dengan baik dan siap untuk diimplementasikan dalam skala yang lebih luas. 67% dengan Kriteria menarik. Dengan demikian, modul pembelajaran kimia berorientasi chemoentrepreneurship (CEP) pada materi polimer kelas XII SMA/MA telah berkembang dengan baik dan siap untuk diimplementasikan dalam skala yang lebih luas.67% dengan Kriteria menarik. Abstract

The study aimed to determine the level of planning, organizing, implementing and supervising the management of science laboratory at Junior High School Pekanbaru, which is also seen from the gender and the type of school. In analyzing the data, the researches used a quantitative approach with the number of population was 56 head laboratories. Data collection methods are questionnaires and observations. To analyze the data, the researcher was used descriptive technique, sample t-test, and one way anova test. The results of the study showed the following 1) In the descriptive management of planning laboratories have an average of 4,168; organizing 4,254; supervision 3,815; and implementation of 4,118. 2) In the sample test the school type t-test found differences in planning and organizing, while the aspects of supervision and implementation there was no difference 3) In one way test the period of work found that planning and organizing 0-10 years and 11-20 years, 0-10 years and 21-30 years there are differences while there are no differences between 11-20 years and 21-30 years. Whereas the aspects of supervision and implementation there is no difference in all periods of work.

Abstract

Pembelajaran bahasa inggris belum maksimal karena kurangnya penerapan bahasa inggris tersebut dalam bentuk komunikasi atau berbicara dengan menggunakan bahasa Inggris baik itu di dalam kelas maupun di lingkungan sekolah dari program berbahasa Inggris dalam satu hari penuh (English Day). Berdasarkan hasil temuan dari wawancara beberapa orang guru termasuk guru bahasa inggris di SMP Indonesian Creative School Pekanbaru, masalah yang paling penting adalah siswa malu dan takut  dalam berkomunikasi dengan guru-guru mereka sendiri pada hari yang sudah ditentukan dalam English Day.

Abstract

This research was conducted in RW 04, Tangkerang Labuai, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru City. The purpose of this study is to analyze the level of community knowledge, community attitudes, community motivation and identify constraints related to climate in Tangkerang Labuai in terms of Garbage management activities. The research approach used in this study is a quantitative descriptive with the survey method. Based on the results of the research, the level of knowledge, attitudes and motivation for the value of errors obtained from the results of statistical calculations is smaller than the alpha value, which means that there is an influence between the level of knowledge, attitudes and motivations towards community perceptions regarding the climate village program in RW 04, Tangkerang Village Labuai, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru City. Constraints in implementing Proklim in Tangkerang Labuai are the facilities and infrastructure still insufficient, the government has not provided much contribution or assistance to Proklim's activities, while the formation of cadres in carrying out Proklim activities has not been maximized. Public perception related to the climate village program (Proklim) in RW 04, Tangkerang Labuai Village, Bukit Raya Subdistrict, Pekanbaru City has been very good.

Abstract

Chemistry is to study the concepts which are mostly abstract. One of them is in colloidal material. The abstract concepts are difficult to understand if only explained in two-dimensional form. Therefore, a media is needed to visualize the abstract concepts of colloidal material both in terms of both macroscopic and microscopic. This study aims to develop an interactive learning media using Autoplay Media Studio 8 that is worthy of being used as a learning media. The study used the Research and Development (R & D) method which refered to the Borg and Gall model. Data collection techniques were in the form of validation sheets and response questionnaires (teachers and students). The data analysis technique used descriptive statistical analysis. The results show that the percentage score obtained from five experts (two media experts and three material experts) gained 96.74% with very valid categories. The results of trials for teachers and students each obtained an average percentage score of 87% and 92% with very practical categories. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that interactive learning media using Autoplay Media Studio 8 on chemistry subjects of colloid material in class XI SMA/MA are appropriate to be used as learning media.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the increase in students critical thinking skills after using e-modules oriented towards scientific literacy. This research is a quasi-experimental study using the Design Randomized Control Group Pretest-Posttest. The research sample consisted of 2 classes, namely class XI MIA 8 and XI MIA 10. The analysis results using the independent sample t-test obtained that a significance value of 0.026 <0.05. The results of the analysis of critical thinking skills test data using the N-gain score test for the experimental class obtained a value of 77.2% including the very high category. While the average N-gain score for the control class obtained a value of 55.2% included in the medium category. It can be concluded that there are significant differences in students critical thinking skills in the experimental class with the control class.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the readiness of chemistry teachers in applying 4C skills (critical thinking, creative thinking, communication and collaboration) in terms of attitude aspects. The 4C skills are needed to prepare students to compete in the era of globalization and teachers which are the main factors for students success in mastering 21st century learning. This research was a descriptive and inferential study involving as many as 115 high school chemistry teachers in Pekanbaru City and Pelalawan district. The instruments used a Likert scale questionnaire 5 consisting of demographics of respondents and 4 variables to measure the ability of the 4C. The results of the analysis showed that the readiness of chemistry teachers in Pekanbaru City and Pelalawan regencies in Riau Province was seen from the aspect of attitudes at a high level. Data were analyzed descriptively based on mean values and standard deviations as well as independent t tests and one way anova to determine differences in the readiness of high school chemistry teachers based on gender, years of service and educational qualifications. Thus, there were significant differences in the readiness of chemistry teachers in high school levels based on educational qualifications
