Abstract

Abstract: This Research was aimed to find out the relationship and the magnitude of the relationship between student’s perception of chemistry with chemistry student learning result SMAN 9 Pekanbaru. The kind of research is quantitative-qualitative research which used survey method, correlational and interview. The population of research is all student SMAN 9 Pekanbaru year lesson 2013/2014. The sample consisted of 246 people of class X, XI science, and XII science. Data collection techniques are documentation technique, questionnaire and interview. Data analysis technique is the correlation test. Based on the final calculation result obtained tvalue is 6.817 > ttable is 1.645 it which means that the hypotheses is accepted or with the other word there is relationship between student’s perception of chemistry with chemistry student learning result SMAN 9 Pekanbaru with the magnitude of the relationship is 16%.Keywords : Perception, Chemistry Lesson, Learning Result.

Abstract

Abstract : This study aimed to determine the quality of odd semester exam chemistry lesson for class XI IPA SMAN 10 Pekanbaru in academic year 2013/2014 viewed from relevance of indicator item and distribution of the cognitive taxonomy Bloom, level of difficulty, discrimination index, distracter effectiveness, test item validity, reliability. This research is descriptive ex post facto. Population includes all students in grade XI IPA SMAN 10 as 177 students. Sample consisted 96 students from 27% upper group and 27% lower group. The result from relevance item of indicator showed that from 40 test items there were 97,5% relevance to the test indicator and 2,5% were not relevance to the test indicator. The result from distribution of the cognitive taxonomy Bloom there was comparison C1:C2:C3:C4:C5:C6 is 15%:45%:40%:0%:0%:0% respectively. The result of analysis from level of difficulty there was 12,5% easy test item, 82,5% was medium and 5% was difficult. Furthermore the discrimination index there was 2,5% so bad test item discrimination, 15% bad discrimination, 32,5% medium discrimination, and 50% good discrimination. Viewed from the distracter effectiveness 42,5% had good function and 57,5% could not do their function well. Analysis of test item validity there were 85% valid and 15% were not valid. Reliability of the test was r11 = 0,86. Based on the result of this test can be said to have a low quality with classification readmission items obtained 27,5% items received, 70% repaired, and 2,5% rejected. Abstract

Abstract: This Research in find out the influence of the use of game monopoly as media chemo-edutainment how it affect the student achievement on the topic of colloid in class XI Science MAN 2 Model Pekanbaru. This kind of research is experiment research with randomized control group pretest-posttest design. The population in this research is all student of class XI Science MAN 2 Model Pekanbaru. The sample consisted of two classes, namely class XI Science 1 as the experimental class and class XI science 2 as a controls class, it randomly selected after normality test and homogeneity test. Experimental class is a class that was treated by learning using media game of monopoly, while the control class is a class that is not treated using media game of monopoly. Data analysis technique is the right t-test. Based on the final calculation result obtained tvalue is 3.070 > ttable is 1.676 (dk = n1 + n2 – 2, α = 0,05) with an increase in the use of media influence a game of monopoli to student achievement is 16.7%, so it can be concluded that the use of game monopoli as media chemo-edutainment improve the student’s achievement on the subject of colloid in class XI Science MAN 2 Model Pekanbaru.Keyword : Learning, Monopoly game, Media chemo-edutainment, Learning Achievement, Colloid

Abstract

Abstract: The objective of the research is to achieve students learning mastery on the subject of chemical equilibrium in XI MIA class at SMA Al-Huda Pekanbaru trough the applying achive learning strategy Quick On The Draw. The research  form is pra-experiment design with one-shot study case. The data were collected from September 2014 – June 2015. The population of the research is all of students in XI MIA SMA Al-Huda Pekanbaru which consists of 2 classes and the sample are the students in XI MIA 2 class that are selected randomly. Data were analysed to gain learning mastery in the competency knowledge, that is learning mastery individual (passed when the student reaches a value  ≥ 2,67), learning mastery classical (passed if 85% of students reach 2,67), mastery of individual indicators (passed when 65% of students reach ≥ 2,67 in each indicator), mastery of each indicator (passed when 65% of students reach ≥ 2,67 in each indicator), and classical mastery indicator (passed when 75% of students reach the mastery of each indicator). Based on the final result by using mastery learning individual, 12 students are passed and 3 students did not pass, classical mastery learning gained 87.5%, individual mastery indicators is obtained by 4 students by passing all indicators and 3 students who did not pass, each mastery of indicator derived from 11 indicators, 9 indicators are passed 2 indicators are not pass and classical mastery learning gained 81.82%. The results showed that the application of active learning strategy Quick On The Draw can achieve student’s learning mastery on the subject of chemical equilibrium in XI MIA class at SMA Al-Huda Pekanbaru. Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to improve student achievement on the subject ofhydrocarbons in the first year student of SMAN 5 Pekanbaru by application of a firingsquad formation strategy. Form of research is experimental with pretest-posttest design.The sample consists of two classes, class X.2 as an experimental class and class X.6 asthe control class is determined randomly after normality test and homogeneity test.Experimental class were treated by application of a firing squad formation strategywhile grade control without firing squad formation strategy implementation. Dataanalysis technique used was t-test. Based on the final results of data processing using ttestformula obtainable tarithmetic>ttable is 4,99> 1,67 meaning that the application of afiring squad formation strategies can improve student achievement on the subject ofhydrocarbons in the first year student of SMAN 5 Pekanbaru. Abstract

Abstract : The aim of this research is to improve student achievement on the subject of salt hydrolysis in class XI natural sciences (IPA) Senior High School (SMAN) 10 Pekanbaru trough the applying active learning football verbal strategy. This research is experimental study with pretest-posttest design. The research was conducted from Maret 2015 - April 2015. The population consisted of five class and the sample consisted of two classes of grade class XI IPA 4 as an class experimental and the class XI IPA 5 as an class control randomly selected after homogeneity test. Class experimental applied active learning Football Verbal strategy while the class control conducted discussions. The analysis technique used t-tes with dk = 35 + 36 = 69 (α = 0,05). Based on end of the data processing obtained trithmetic> ttable (4.3286> 1.994) means the application of active learning football verbal strategy can improve student achievement on the subject of salt hydrolysis in class XI IPA SMAN 10 Pekanbaru. Abstract

Abstrak: This research aimed to increase student achievement by application of active learning strategies types synergetic teaching on learning topic of Colloid in XI IPA SMAN 5 Pekanbaru. This is an experimental research with randomized control group pretest-posttest design. Subject of this research are XI IPA 3 as the experimental class, XI IPA 1 as the controll class which were determined randomly after conducting normality and homogeneity test. The experimental group was treated with the application of synergetic teaching active learning strategies while the control group without the application of synergetic teaching active learning strategies. The data analysis to test the hypothesis was using t-test right side. Based on the data analysis, it is obtaine tcount = 4,03 and ttable=1.66 with α=0,05, dk=67. tcount > ttable is 4.03> 1,66, It’s mean that the application of active learning strategies of synergetic teaching can improve students achievement on the subject of colloids in XI IPA class SMAN 5 Pekanbaru. Abstract

Abstract: Has made the gived task to make concept map on the topic of colloid in class XI sains MAN 1 Bengkalis. This research aims to improve student achievement. The research is a kind of experiment research with pretest-posttest design. The population were all of the students of XI sains MAN 1 Bengkalis. The samples of this research were the students of class XI sains3 as the experimental class and students of class XI sains2 as the control class. Experimental class is a class that is gived task to make Concept Map while the control class was not. Data analysis technique used is the t-test with dk is 59 and α is 0,05.before t-test has made,the sampels had normal distribution and homogeneus. Based on data analysis of data obtained tcount> ttable is 2,42>1.67, means that the gived task to make Concept Map can improve student learning achievement on the topic of colloid in class IX Sains MAN 1 Bengkalis. The category improvement of student achievement at experiment class was high category with N-gain normalized is 0,75. Meanwhile, the category improvement of student achievement in control class was medium category with N-gain normalized is 0,66.Keywords : Achievement, Concept Map, Colloid

Abstract

Abstract : This study aims to improve the activity and mastery learning students on the material elements of class X.10 Senior High School of class X.10. This form of research is the Research Action Class . The study was conducted collaboratively, where researchers and teachers cooperate at this stage of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The implementation of the actions carried out by teachers, while a researcher as an observer. The research subject is class X.10 SMA Negeri 2 Tambang year 2016/2017 which amounted to 37 students, consisting of 17 male students and 20 female students. The research results obtained are the use of Uno Card games as the Chemo-Edutinment media can improve the learning activities of students of class X.10 SMA Negeri 2 Tambang with the percentage average cycle I of 70,57% and 85,89% for the second cycle. The use of Uno Card games as the Chemo-Edutainment media can improve learning completeness students in class X.10 of SMA Negeri 2 Tambang with the percentage amounted to 91,90% the first cycle and the second cycle of 100%.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to increase students learning achievement by implementation of contextual teaching and learning (CTL) strategy on the equilibrium solubility subject in class XI MIA MAN 2 Model Pekanbaru. The type of research is quasy experimental with Randomized Control Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Population consist of 3 class has been tested normality and homogenity using prerequisite data, 2 random samples were selected, XI MIA 1 as experiment class and XI MIA 2 as control class. The experiment class was applied with contextual teaching and learning strategy, while control class without contextual teaching and learning strategy. Instrument in this research is a question of solubility equilibrium that has been test validation and reliability. Results showed instrument is valid and reliable. Data analysis technique is descriptive and inferensy analysis. Hypothesis using Mann Whitney test with significance level (α=0,05), based on the analysis and processing of data obtainable zcount>ztable is 2,27>1,64, its mean implementation of contextual teaching and learning strategy can increase students learning achievement on the on the equilibrium solubility subject in class XI MIA MAN 2 Model Pekanbaru.Key words : equilibrium solubility, learning achievement, contextual teaching and learning strategy
