Abstract

Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi konsep-konsep matematika terutama geometri yang memerlukan media pembelajaran matematika inovatif untuk memudahkan siswa memahami materi serta meningkatkan pengetahuan guru tentang media pembelajaran matematika yang inovatif dan memiliki kemampuan untuk mengimplementasikannya dalam kegiatan pembelajaran di kelas. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di SD Negeri 2 Sebubus Kecamatan Paloh, Kabupaten Sambas dengan sasaran program pelatihan adalah guru matematika dari beberapa sekolah setempat baik tingkat SD, SMP dan SMA yang berjumlah 14 sekolah di Kecamatan Paloh. Langkah yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Berdasarkan pelaksanaan kegiatan yang telah dilakukan diperoleh bahwa pelatihan ini sangat bermanfaat bagi guru-guru khususnya guru SD karena guru telah mengidentifikasi konsep matematika sesuai materi yang dibahas, meningkatkan pengetahuan guru tentang penggunaan media dalam pembelajaran yang akan berdampak positif terhadap hasil belajar siswa, motivasi belajar siswa, suasana pembelajaran yang menyenangkan, dan karakter menghargai ilmu matematika

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memastikan kesalahpahaman yang umum terjadi di kalangan siswa dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis, serta alasan yang mendasari terjadinya kesalahpahaman tersebut. Penelitian ini dilakukan di dalam lingkungan pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi penelitian kualitatif dan menggunakan penelitian studi kasus, serta prosedur analisis data seperti reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa siswa yang memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis yang terbatas selama mengerjakan tes menunjukkan miskonsepsi, khususnya di bidang klasifikasi, korelasi, dan teori. Selain itu, kesalahpahaman tersebut dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal dan eksternal. Siswa yang menunjukkan kemampuan berpikir kritis tingkat menengah selama mengerjakan tes mungkin mengalami kesalahpahaman, misalnya dalam bidang kategorisasi, korelasi, dan teori. Kesalahpahaman ini terutama disebabkan oleh pengaruh eksternal sebagai alasan yang mendasarinya. Siswa yang memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis tingkat lanjut pada saat mengerjakan tes tidak mudah salah paham, melainkan salah perhitungan. Terjadinya miskonsepsi sebagian besar dipengaruhi oleh variabel eksternal. Kata Kunci: Miskonsepsi, kemampuan berpikir kritis, faktor penyebab miskonsepsi

Abstract

The mathematics learning process can be carried out by using and utilizing social phenomena, culture, and other aspects. In the past and currently, mathematics has developed in culture and society, even integrating culture with mathematics. Therefore, it is necessary to involve existing phenomena to overcome various existing problems, including mathematical problems. Therefore, it is necessary to teach mathematics in schools by depicting the context of the origin of mathematical ideas by utilizing culture so that it becomes meaningful learning for students, in this case called ethnomathematics. This short article tries to examine Ethnomathematics Design. In Statistical Analysis Content (Numeracy Literacy Development Study). The method used in this research is ethnography with a qualitative approach. The research results show that the development of ethnomathematics design can go through the definition stage to the initial development stage. From this development stage, an ethnomathematics design in statistical analysis content was produced. The design of ethnomathematics in statistical analysis content is a must-see for the philosophical value of ethnomathematics in its development.

Abstract

Educational transformation in the digital era utilizes various technologies to improve the quality of learning and provide innovative learning experiences. This use of technology not only changes the way we learn and teach but also creates a more adaptive and responsive educational environment in the digital era. This study focuses on the integration of interactive media based on H5P to improve mathematical problem-solving skills. The research method used a literature review to examine the relationship between technology and mathematical problem-solving skills. The results show that interactive media based on H5P can be utilized to make learning more innovative. The media meets the criteria of validity, practicality, and effectiveness, making it suitable for use in the learning process.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop Problem Based Learning (PBL) based E-Comic learning media on Problem Solving Ability that is valid, practical, and effective on student learning outcomes in statistics material in class XII at SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Laur. The method used is the ADDIE method. The subjects of this study were 29 class XII students of SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Laur, 3 material and media experts. The instruments used in this study were in the form of material expert validation sheets and media expert validation sheets, teacher response questionnaires, student response questionnaires and post-test questions based on the results of the research that had been carried out obtained the results of validation of E-Comic learning media based on Problem Based Learning (PBL). ) Regarding Problem Solving Ability has a validity level of 91.22% with very valid criteria, the practicality level of learning media is 89.60% with very practical criteria and the level of effectiveness of learning media is 93.10% with very effective criteria.

Abstract

The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research with the aim of the research being to describe the mathematical communication profiles of blind students. This research was conducted at SLB Negeri Rasau Jaya which is located at Education Street No. 2, Desa Rasau Jaya Satu, Rasau Jaya District, Kubu Raya Regency, West Kalimantan Province, using the K13 curriculum. This study will describe the mathematical communication of SLBN Rasau Jaya students in the Cartesian coordinate material seen from aspects (1) The ability of students to give answers using everyday language in explaining ideas, situations and mathematical relations, orally or in writing with real objects, pictures, graphics and algebra. (Aspects of Written text); (2) Students' ability to connect real objects, pictures, and diagrams into mathematical ideas. (Drawing Aspects); (3) Students' ability to express everyday events in language or mathematical symbols. (Aspects of Mathematical Expression). In this study, the subjects of the study were all students of class VIII SLB Negei Rasau Jaya, which consisted of three students with low vision criteria. The data collection tools used in the research were observation sheets, interviews, and written tests. The mathematical communication skills of blind students have good abilities in the aspect of drawing. While the writing aspect was not fulfilled properly and the mathematical expression aspect did not meet the indicators at all.

Abstract

This study aims to produce interactive video learning media in mathematics learning to improve students' mathematical understanding that is valid, practical and effective. This research is a development research where the research procedure uses a 4D design, namely (Define, Design, Development, and Dissemination) but this research only reaches the Development stage due to limited time, costs and research subjects. The subjects in this study were 26 class X students of SMAN 1 Nanga Tayap. The instrument used by the researcher was a validation sheet to see the validity of interactive video media, a response questionnaire was used to see the practicality of interactive video media and a pilot test was used to see the practicality of interactive video media in improving students' mathematical understanding abilities. Based on the validation of the three validators on learning interactive video media, it can be declared valid with an average index percentage of 79.69% with valid criteria. Material expert validation was declared valid with an average index percentage of 78.88% with valid criteria. Meanwhile, media expert validation was declared valid with an average percentage index of 79.28% with valid criteria. The level of practicality with an average percentage of teacher responses is 80%, with very valid criteria and an average percentage of student responses is 82.66% with very practical criteria. From the results of completing the teacher and student response questionnaire, interactive video learning media for students' mathematical understanding can be stated to be very practical for students. The level of effectiveness of students after using interactive video learning media on mathematical understanding abilities is 80.76% with very effective criteria.
