Abstract

his research was focused on the leadership style of thehead-master of State Secondary School 2 Cilacap, the degree of thehead-master ability in doing the function as a manager, educator,and leader, as well as the leadership effectiveness.This research used qualitative-naturalistic method.research subject consistedof school personnel of State SecondarySchool 2 Cilacap. The data was collected using interview technique,observation, and documentation. The data validity was achievedwith external and internal criticism and triangulation method. Thedata analysis technique was performed using Miles and Hubermanmodel, done in four interactive steps: data collection, data reduction,data display, and conclusion.The research result can be reported as follows :1) the head­masterof State Secondary School 2 Cilacap tends to adoptparticipative leadership style; 2.a) Concerning level of ability, indoing his function as a manager, it can be concluded that themanagerial functions (planning, organizing and controlling) havebeen done effectively. But on the staffing side, especially on studentrecruitment planning improvement is still seriously needed; b) Thehead - master has done his function as a leader. c) Furthermore, thehead-master has done supervision functionas a leader; d) the head ­master has shown good behaviour and can be a role model; 3) Thehead-master leadership effectiveness has been achieved by teacher:empowerment in the improvementof instructional process asindicated by graduates quality improvement.

Abstract

Implementasi sistem tanggap darurat bencana dengan menggunakan firebase cloud messaging berbasis android dan sms gateway merupakan sistem informasi notifikasi bencana menggunakan media aplikasi berbasis mobile android dengan memanfaatkan dukungan dari layanan firebase cloud message dan sms gateway. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membantu BPBD Kabupaten Majalengka dalam meningkatkan efektifitas, ketepatan, dan kecepatan proses penyampaian informasi kebencanaan kepada masyarakat. Aplikasi menggunakan perpesanan lintas platform melalui firebase cloud yang mampu melakukan pelaporan notifikasi secara realtime kepada para pengguna dengan detail atau format berupa text, gambar, maupun koordinat peta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengembangan sistem Agile Method Development dengan Rational Unified Process dan software yang digunakan dalam pembuatan aplikasi ini adalah menggunakan Android Studio 2.3.2 serta bahasa pemograman PHP.Kata kunci Firebase Cloud Messaging, Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah (BPBD), Agile Method Development.

Abstract

The performance of the teaching staff is a supporting factor that cannot be ignored in achieving the educational goals of the tertiary institution. Educational staff have the duty to support the running of the education process in tertiary institutions through administrative services for the implementation of an effective and efficient educational process. The objectives in this study are to: 1) Know the effect of job satisfaction on the performance of educational staff 2) Know the effect of discipline on the performance of educational staff 3) Know the influence of motivation on the performance of educational personnel and 4) Know the effect of job satisfaction, discipline and motivation on the performance of educational staff. This type of research is a survey and classified in explanatory research. This research was conducted at Campus II Health Polytechnic (Poltekkes) Surakarta. The study population of all educational staff at Campus II Surakarta Health Polytechnic totaling 46 people and the whole was used as a sample with census techniques. Data collection techniques using observation and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques using multiple linear regression. The results showed that job satisfaction had a positive and significant effect on the performance of the teaching staff at Campus II Surakarta Health Polytechnic. Discipline has a positive and significant effect on the performance of teaching staff at Campus II Health Polytechnic Surakarta. Work motivation has a positive and significant effect on the performance of teaching staff at Campus II Health Polytechnic Surakarta. Job satisfaction, discipline and work motivation simultaneously influence the performance of the teaching staff at Campus II Health Polytechnic Surakarta. Suggestions should be given to the leadership to increase the provision of salary on a regular basis as well as provide promotional opportunities for educational staff who excel. the leadership conducts regular supervision of the performance of the education staff.

Abstract

Syari?ah Islam sepanjang zaman terus dipahami dan diaktualisasikan oleh umat Islam. Upaya pemahaman itu tentu tidak melepaskan diri dari unsur-unsur penafsiran al-Qur?an. Penafsiran al-Qur?an, khususnya yang terkait dengan hukum memerlukan kejelian dan perhatian tersendiri karena historisitas umat Islam telah menyebabkan ayat-ayat al-Qur?an dipahami secara serampangan dan sering dilepaskan dari pesan-pesan moralnya.Tulisan ini berupaya melakukan usaha penafsiran kontesktual al-Qur?an, khususnya ayat-ayat hukum. Tapi didorong tanggung jawab untuk membumikan al-Qur?an upaya ini diharapkan merangsang pikiran pembaca, pendalaman dan elaborasi keseluruhan unsur-unsur yang perlu dalam penafsiran dengan sedikit contoh kongkrit yang dapat dicoba dan direnungkan bersama. Selanjutnya tema-tema yang belum tersentuh tentu memerlukan pengkajian lanjutan dari segenap umat Islam.

Abstract

Abstract: The quality of madrasah education needs to get serious attention both from process aspect and its result. The quality of madrasah education is also influenced by the family and community environment. This brings with it the need for a review and mapping of the quality management model of education in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. The Madrasah Ibtidaiyah of Purwokerto and MI Ma'arif Pageraji Purwokerto were chosen to be the subject of this study with the consideration that the school has a good quality management system. This study aims to find the typology of quality management education in MI that is effective so that it can be replicated. Based on the findings of the data, it can be concluded as follows: (1) Quality planning conducted in MIN and MI Ma’arif pageraji Purwokerto through (a) improvement of teacher competence, through OJT activity (on the job trainning), (b) teacher. (c) Development of natural competence matrix. (d) Parent and community cooperation in establishing some madrasah programs. (2) Quality control system conducted in MIN and MI Ma’arif pageraji Purwokerto done through supervision activities. (3) Quality assurance conducted in MIN and MI Ma’arif pageraji Purwokerto done internally by madrasah and audited through accreditation activities run by the accreditation bodies of madrasah or other institutions externally. Abstract

This article tries to discuss the renewal education of Islam in the midst of western modernization by taking the thoughts of Muhammad Abduh and Sayyid Muhammad Rasyid Ridha. Muhammad Abduh and Rasyid Ridha's Islamic renewal education thought was influenced by the thoughts of their teachers. Muhammad Abduh and Rasyid Ridha believe that Islam encompasses political aspect, social aspect and spiritual aspect. In order to arouse these attitudes, Muslims must return to the teachings of Islam taught by the Prophet Muhmmad SAW and his companions. The presence of Muhammad Abduh and Rasyid Ridha as Islamic reformers aims to revive the spirit of the Muslim struggle against colonialism, so that Muslims are free from colonialism in the western world. The spirit of the Islamic community competed with advances in science, technology and the development of times in other fields is expected to increase through their thoughts. The result of this article show that Muhammad Abduh and Rasyid Ridha contribute in the form of thoughts on the renewal of Islamic education in the field of curriculum and institutions

Abstract

Abstract: This article attempts to create a reflection of the Islamic educational curriculum, and some alternative Islamic education curriculum based of multicultulral. As for some of the underlying assumptions, that the practice of teaching Islamic education was oriented toward mastery of teaching material has not been oriented toward understanding and awareness creation on respect for diversity of race, ethics, culture. Islamic Education as one of the important aspects as the formation of character, should have the concept that learing is more directed at the character formation of children and respect for cultural diversity. Thus, to Look forthe development of Islamic education curriculum model (Madrasah Aliyah) based of multicultural. Management of multicultural based Islamic education can be through several phases: content integration, the knowledge construction process, an equity paedagogy, and prejudice reduction. The focus of management of multicultural based curriculum Islamic education should be directed to find the msdel of Islamic education (Madrasah Aliyah) that can explore humanist values and universal. Islamic education learning design (Madrasah Aliyah) based mutticultural directed the efforts to form the character of the appreciation and respect for diversity of thought, concept, and culture. Development of leaming modets of Islamic education in Madrasah Aliyah multicultural-based refers to a balanced composition of matter Koran, Hadith , fiqh, aqidah, and akhlak. Abstract

The curriculum development model in the philosophy of reconstructionism review is a model that is usually used in many curriculum development processes. In this model the curriculum mostly takes the first position, namely as a plan and activity. The ideas developed in the initial steps focus more on what qualities must be possessed through learning about scientific disciplines, technology, religion, art, and so on. The nature of the objectives of the education curriculum according to reconstructionism are: (1) changing society in accordance with economic needs, (2) changing society in accordance with certain values. The curriculum is a science design that will be achieved through education.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the principal's leadership on performance. To determine the influence of organizational culture on performance. To determine work motivation on performance. To analyze the influence of the principal's leadership on organizational culture. To analyze the influence of organizational culture on work motivation. To analyze the influence of the principal's leadership on work motivation. To analyze the influence of principal's leadership, organizational culture and motivation on teacher performance. This type of research is quantitative, which focuses on objective phenomena to be studied quantitatively. This research belongs to the type of expost facto research, namely research that aims to find out events that have occurred and then trace back to find out the factors that caused these events. The data analysis method used to see the influence between variables in this study is multiple linear regression analysis with the SPSS 23 program. The results showed that the principal's leadership had an effect on the performance of teachers at the Al Asyhar Tulakan Donorojo Foundation, Jepara. Organizational culture influences the performance of teachers at the Al Asyhar Tulakan Donorojo Foundation, Jepara. Work motivation affects the performance of teachers at the Al Asyhar Tulakan Donorojo Foundation, Jepara. The principal's leadership influences the organizational culture at the Al Asyhar Tulakan Donorojo Foundation, Jepara. Organizational culture influences work motivation at the Al Asyhar Tulakan Donorojo Foundation, Jepara. Abstract

Pendampingan skill citizen journalism merupakan upaya untuk memberikan keahlian jurnalis pada pemuda lampung di Marga Sekampung. Pendampingan ini bagian dari tindak lanjutkan atas usulan pemuda agar mereka ingin beraktifitas sebagai jurnalis. Aktifitas sebagai jurnalis tersebut dapat menjadi pintu masuk untuk mengendalikan krisis sosial yang dialami oleh pemuda lampung di marga sekampung. Fenomena pengangguran dan kondisi pergaulan yang mengarah kepada tindakan-tindakan yang melanggar hukum membuat kondisi sosial kehidupan para pemuda marga sekampung semakin sulit untuk berkembang. Konsep citizen journalism (jurnalisme warga) dipilih karna tidak memerlukan surat kabar resmi dan secara hukum legal. Metode pengabdian dilakukan dengan metode Parcipatory Action Research (PAR). Dimana tim pengabdi terlibat langsung dalam proses pendampingan. Sasaran pengabdian adalah pemuda marga sekampung. Hasilnya, pengabdian dapat terlaksana dengan baik mulai dari tahap perencanaan sampai tahap pelaksanaan. Pemuda diberi materi dan pelatihan mengenai cara membuat berita dan memanfaatkan media sosial sebagai sarana publikasi karya jurnalistik. Sebagian pemuda dapat memahami materi dan menguasai skill citizen journalism. Namun perlu adanya pendampingan lanjutan agar lebih peserta dapat menguasai dengan baik.
