Abstract

Computer Based Test (CBT) plays an important role to support efficient and faster formative and summative evaluations conducted by teachers in schools. The purpose of this research is to improve the teacher's ability in preparing CBT questions. The research was conducted at SMA Islam Cikal Harapan 2 for the 2019/2020 academic year involving 10 teachers. The type of this research is a school action research (PTS), two cycles, with stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Collecting data using the technique of questionnaires, documentation and tests. The results of the study revealed that the percentage of teachers' ability to create CBT questions increased from 60% in the first cycle to 87% in the second cycle. These abilities include preparing questions, creating supporting files, and uploading questions on a computer. In addition, teacher activity in IHT increased from 73% in cycle I to 87% in cycle II. The conclusion of this research is that the ability to create CBT questions and teacher activities can be improved through in-house training.

Abstract

The background of this research problem is the low student learning outcomes about understanding the values ​​of Pancasila in class VI of Sidomulyo 1 Elementary School, Wonosalam District, Demak Regency. This is allegedly due to the application of conventional learning models so that students do not understand the subject matter. The purpose of this study was to find an increase in understanding of Pancasila values ​​of students after the application of Think Pair Share assisted with learning CDs. This research uses a quasi-experimental method to compare the treatment of teaching and learning in the experimental class and the control class. The research design used was non equivalent pretest posttest control group design. The population studied was all grade VI students of elementary schools in Wonosalam District, Demak Regency, as many as 41 public schools. Samples in this study were taken in 3 elementary schools. which is divided into 2 classes namely control class and experimental class. The research instrument was a test consisting of 25 multiple choice questions. Data analysis techniques include instrument testing, prerequisite tests and hypothesis testing. The results of the research are that there is an increase in understanding of the values ​​of Pancasila by applying the think pair share model assisted with learning CDs in grade VI elementary schools. based on the results of t count of 5.204 then 5.204> 1, 9879 so that t count> t table. This is because think pair share learning allows students to work alone and cooperate with others, and optimize student participation and provide opportunities for students to show their participation to others. The advice given is that teachers should use the think pair share learning model and mind mapping assisted with learning CDs to improve the understanding of Pancasila values, and be able to innovate in learning

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the principal's leadership on performance. To determine the influence of organizational culture on performance. To determine work motivation on performance. To analyze the influence of the principal's leadership on organizational culture. To analyze the influence of organizational culture on work motivation. To analyze the influence of the principal's leadership on work motivation. To analyze the influence of principal's leadership, organizational culture and motivation on teacher performance. This type of research is quantitative, which focuses on objective phenomena to be studied quantitatively. This research belongs to the type of expost facto research, namely research that aims to find out events that have occurred and then trace back to find out the factors that caused these events. The data analysis method used to see the influence between variables in this study is multiple linear regression analysis with the SPSS 23 program. The results showed that the principal's leadership had an effect on the performance of teachers at the Al Asyhar Tulakan Donorojo Foundation, Jepara. Organizational culture influences the performance of teachers at the Al Asyhar Tulakan Donorojo Foundation, Jepara. Work motivation affects the performance of teachers at the Al Asyhar Tulakan Donorojo Foundation, Jepara. Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk 1)Untuk mengetahui tingkat kedisiplinan peserta didik di MTs Negeri 3 Pati. 2)Untuk mengetahui peran guru BK dan guru piket dalam menegakkan tata tertib dalam upaya meningkatkan kedisiplinan  peserta didik di MTs Negeri 3 Pati.3)Untuk mengetahui faktor  pendorong dan penghambat upaya meningkatkan kedisiplinan  peserta didik di MTs Negeri 3 Pati. Hasil penelitian: tingkat kedisiplinan peserta didik di MTs Negeri 3 Pati. 1) kategori baik saat datang ke sekolah, pulang sekolah dan mengikuti pembelajaran di kelas. 2) kedisiplinan berseragam ada pada kondisi  baik, 3) kedisiplinan berpenampilan pada kondisi cukup baik. Peran Guru BK dan guru piket dalam menegakkan tata tertib sebagai berikut:1 1)  memberikan peringatan dan fasilitator, 2) memberikan pembinaan dan motivator, 3) melakukan pengawasan, 4) memberikan hukuman edukatif 5) memanggil orang tua  ke madrasah. Faktor pendorong dan penghambat dalam upaya meningkatkan kedisiplinan peserta didik di MTs Negeri 3 Pati antara lain 1) faktor kesadaran semua warga sekolah, 2) faktor minat dan motivasi, 3) keteladanan kepala sekolah dan guru. Kemudian faktor penghambatnya adalah 1) rendahnya kesadaran sebagian siswa, 2) pengaruh negatif lingkungan dan pergaulan.

Abstract

The background of this research is the implementation of supervision activities is that are less than optimal, the principal feels that she does not master the supervision techniques or the material to be supervised, cannot make follow-up after the implementation of supervision, the principal reason is too busy, the implementation of supervision is still as it is not in accordance with the provisions that should be.The purpose of the research is to describe the academic supervision program planning, implementation, evaluation, and follow-up of academic supervision carried out by the principal of the school towards teachers.The research method used is a qualitative approach which is better known as naturalistic inquiry. In this study using a qualitative approach in the form of case study research. Techniq data collection in this research include interview techniques, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique used is a non-statistical method, namely descriptive data analysis. The technique of checking the validity of the data is done by triangulation, by means of cross-checking the data.The results of the research show that the implementation of academic supervision planning has used the technical supervision guidelines. The implementation of academic supervision still needs improvement. The principal has conducted an evaluation of academic supervision. Implementation of follow-up academic supervision has been going according to plan.The researcher concluded that the implementation of the principal's academic supervision at has been going according to plan, although it still needs improvement. Researchers suggest that the implementation of academic supervision should be carried out in a programmed, systematic and sustainable manner so that it has an impact on improving educational services

Abstract

Electric cigarettes or what are often called vapes are a type of electronic nicotine delivery agent. In electric cigarettes what is inhaled does not come from dry tobacco leaves, but liquid. In some circles, it is said that electric cigarettes are considered safer than conventional cigarettes, apart from that, electric cigarettes are considered to be a technique for reducing smoking habits for users. The aim of the community service activities carried out for the teenagers of Persaudaraan Setia Hati Terate Ranting Tugu Semarang is to increase teenagers' knowledge of the dangers of electric cigarettes for health. Community service activities are carried out using the lecture method. Based on the community service activities that have been carried out, the results obtained are an increase in teenagers' knowledge of the dangers of electric cigarettes for health and the desire of teenagers who smoke to stop smoking.

Abstract

Penerapan penelitian pengembangan bertujuan untuk menghasilkan sebuah produk. Produk yang dihasilkan berupa video pembelajaran. Analisis kebutuhan video pembelajaran dilakukan oleh guru dan siswa, sedangkan validasi dilakukan oleh ahli materi, ahli media, dan praktisi. Uji efektivitas dilakukan melalui analisis hasil belajar. Subjek uji coba produk terbatas pada penelitian pengembangan ini adalah siswa kelas IV SD Tambahagung 02 yang berjumlah 17 siswa. Adapun subjek uji coba pemakaian skala luas adalah siswa SD Sitirejo dan SD Tambaharjo 01 dengan jumlah 54 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen, serta siswa SD Tambahagung 01 dan SD Tambahagung 03 dengan jumlah 47 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol. Pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar angket kebutuhan media, lembar penilaian media, dan tes hasil belajar peserta didik. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis kebutuhan media, lembar validasi, serta analisis perolehan uji t untuk mengetahui efektivitas video pembelajaran yang dikembangkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa video pembelajaran telah dikembangkan sesuai dengan kebutuhan guru dan siswa serta telah divalidasi oleh beberapa ahli dengan perolehan skor validator sebesar 42, 25, dan 50 dari skor maksimal masing-masing 52, 28, dan 56, sehingga memenuhi kriteria valid dengan kategori sangat baik. Uji coba produk dilakukan melalui uji coba terbatas dan uji coba skala luas. Pada uji coba terbatas diperoleh peningkatan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa dari pretest dan posttest yang ditunjukkan oleh nilai n-gain sebesar 0,696 dengan kategori sedang. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa video pembelajaran berbasis Quiz dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar dan layak digunakan untuk uji coba yang lebih luas. Hasil uji coba skala luas menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikansi pretest sebesar 0,559 > 0,05, yang berarti tidak terdapat perbedaan rata-rata yang signifikan antara skor pretest kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Sementara itu, hasil posttest menunjukkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 < 0,05, yang berarti terdapat perbedaan rata-rata antara nilai posttest kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai posttest kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan rata-rata nilai posttest kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil uji statistik tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan video pembelajaran berbasis Quiz terbukti efektif dan mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar pada materi energi alternatif siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Pemahaman konsep matematis siswa sangat dibutuhkan dalam mencapai tujuan pembelajaran matematika. Perlu adanya inovasi dalam pembelajaran matematika guna menciptakan pembelajaran yang bermakna, salah satunya adalah media pembelajaran kain flannel warna-warni (kanel wani). Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui efektivitas penerapan media pembelajaran kanel wani dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep dan aktivitas belajar siswa. Desain pada penelitian menggunakan R&D yang mengadaptasi model Borg and Gall. Sampel yang dipilih ialah siswa kelas VI SDN 3 Tubanan sebagai kelas kontrol dengan metode pembelajaran ceramah dan SDN 6 Tubanan sebagai kelas eksperimen yang menerapkan media Kanel Wani. Efektivitas diukur melalui uji ketuntasan, uji peningkatan, uji banding hasil belajar, serta analisis aktivitas. Hasil uji efektivitas menunjukkan siswa yang mendapat media pembelajaran kanel wani memiliki presentase ketuntasan mencapai 100%, n-gain berada dalam kategori tinggi, serta rata-rata hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen sebesar 89 dan lebih tinggi dibanding kelas kontrol sebesar 64. Skor rata-rata aktivitas siswa kelas ekperimen sebesar 93.75 lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol yakni 51.53. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan media pembelajaran kanel wani efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep dan aktivitas belajar siswa kelas VI SD di Kabupaten Jepara.

Abstract

This article analyzes the effect of the guided inquiry learning model with a puzzle picture on the fifth-grade elementary school students’ learning outcomes on the material of human respiratory organs. The research described in this article is quantitative research with an experimental method. The research population involved fifth-grade elementary school students of Segugus Jenderal Sudirman in Pulokulon. The sample in the research was the fifth-grade students of SDN 4 Karangharjo as an experimental class by applying a guided inquiry model assisted by a puzzle picture and fifth-grade students of SDN Kecil Karangharjo as a control class by applying a conventional model. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. Data collection techniques were carried out through tests, observations, and documentation. Data analyses were prerequisite analysis tests (normality and homogeneity tests) and hypothesis testing with t-test and Normalized Gain (N-Gain). The results showed that there was an effect of the guided inquiry learning model assisted by a puzzle picture on students’ learning outcomes with the results of tcount of 6.154, ttable of 2.0277. Thus, tcount was higher than ttable.
