Abstract

Fatsups and BLADE sequences are used to reduce artifacts and clarify anatomical images. Basedon theoretical studies, the STIR, BLADE sequences, the addition or subtraction of parameters, and theaddition of artificial intelligence used still have a weakness, namely increasing the scanning time to belonger. Another technique that can be used and sequences and parameters on MRI is the denoisingKalman filter technique in the Matlab (Matrix Laboratory) program. The denoising technique is appliedafter the scanning process. Denoising will not increase the MRI scanning time. This systematic reviewaims to know the technical application of denoising Kalman filter for reduction artifacts on MRIexamination. The search was done using google scholar, WILEY, IEE Explore, SPRINGER,PERPUSNAS, and Scopus in English with 2004-2020 articles period. The keywords are MRI artifact,reducing artifacts, and the Kalman filter algorithm. A review of 4 articles of filter Kalman intervention onMRI Brain, MRI Abdomen, and MR Cardiac shows that the Kalman filter is good enough to reduceartifacts and improve anatomical information. The Kallman filter could reduce flow artifacts, improveimage quality and clarify anatomical images on MRI.

Abstract

AP (Antero Posterior), Lateral and Oblique are lumbar projection that used in radiology for low back pain. In Pandan Arang Boyolali Hospital, central ray in lateral projection did not use angle for examination. In literature, always used an angle for lateral projection. Aim of this study is to knowing radiology examination of LBP and reason of lateral projection without angle. This research is used case study with data collection from observation, study literature and interview. Based on results, lumbar examination in Pandan Arang Boyolali Hospital used AP, Oblique and Lateral with perpendicular for central ray. Purpose lateral projection without angle is does required an angle because patient pelvic and thorax is not too wide.

Abstract

In order to assess the most recent condition of the fracture after 10 months of pen installation, the right clavicle examination approach used in the post-orif evaluation case at the Radiology Installation of the Wonosari Hospital was the Anteriorposterior (AP) projection. This type of study, which was conducted at the Wonosari Hospital's radiology department, is a descriptive study using a case study methodology. collecting patient information via requests for photos, medical examinations, and direct observations. Because the radiographic data are thought to be able to provide information to make a diagnosis, the right clavicle is only examined with a post-orif evaluation case at the Radiology Installation of Wonosari Hospital, using just the Anterior-Posterior (AP) projection without forming an angle.

Abstract

There are some people who still have no idea how to properly treat fractures in the modern era. or contemporarily using the latest technology. One way to handle fractures that uses radiology technology. The aim of this community service is to increase knowledge about fracture management. Methods This community service involved demonstration and distribution of questionnaires. This was followed by distributing leaflets to provide a summary of the material. With 20 participants, the community service was conducted on June 12-13, 2023. The background of the counseling participants consisted of families of patients from various age groups and genders. The results showed that almost 95 percent of the participants had insufficient knowledge about the types of fracture treatment with a good knowledge category. In contrast, the results after demonstration, leaflet, and questionnaire refilling showed that almost 95 percent of the participants did not understand about fracture management with poor knowledge category. It can be concluded that this activity is expected to provide new knowledge to patients and their families and improve services at Semarang City Hospital.

Abstract

Mild Head Injury (MIH) with a Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS) score of 13-15, has symptoms of temporary loss of neurological function, mild to severe headache and vomiting, CT-Scan examination is performed if there are signs of skull fracture and vomiting more than once. MSCT examination of the head at the Radiology of Salatiga City Hospital uses a scan area from the vertex to the mandible. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of Head MSCT examination in mild head injury cases. The research method used was descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach. The study was conducted in November 2023 at Salatiga Regional Hospital using MSCT scan patients of MIH head cases. The respondents included three radiographers, one radiology specialist and one referring doctor. The results showed that the MSCT scan examination of the head of MIH cases at the Radiology Installation of Salatiga City Hospital uses a scan area from the mandible to the vertex to determine the overall anatomy of head trauma patients and can provide information if there are abnormalities in the mandible area, abnormalities in the face bone area to the vertex area. The conclusion of this study is that Head MSCT examination is effective for mild head injury cases because it is able to show bone conditions in more detail than examinations using other modalities.

Abstract

CT-Scan (Computed Tomography Scan) adalah salah satu alat dengan memanfaatkan radiasi sinar x yang dapat membantu paramedis mendapatkan gambaran dari berbagai organ salah satunya organ kepala atau otak.Citra hasil akuisisi atau rekaman CT-Scan dapat membantu memperjelas adanya dugaan yang kuat tentang kelainan yang terjadi pada leher. Salah satu metode pemeriksaan pada CT Scan yaitu Nasofaring Extended Cervical (NEC) teknik pemeriksaan radiologi CT Scan yang memperluas visualisasi nasofaring dan struktur sekitarnya dengan memperpanjang leher (cervikal). Tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui peran dari pemeriksaan NEC pada kasus obstruksi stidor inspirasi anak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Pengumpulan data didapatkan dengan cara observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara. Wawancara dilakukan pada dokter pengirim, dokter spesialis radiologi dan radiografer. Selanjutnya analisa data dilakukan dengan cara reduksi data serta menampilkan hasil dalam bentuk narasi secara deskripsi. Hasil penelitian yaitu pemeriksaan NEC ditampilkan dengan potongan axial, sagittal dan coronal untuk memperlihakan anatomi dari nasofaring. Selain itu mampu metode NEC juga dapat memperlihatkan adanya sumbatan pada nasofaring yang tidak nampak pada pemeriksaan radiografi konvensional. NEC ini merupakan teknik tambahan yang digunakan untuk melengkapi diagnosa dari obstruksi stridor. Simpulan yang bisa didapatkan dari penelitian ini yaitu: Potongan citra pada NEC mampu memperlihatkan adanya sumbatan pada nasofaring anak dengan kesulitan bernafas.

Abstract

Cystography examination technique with clinical Bladder Stone in the Radiology Installation of RSPAU dr. Suhardi Hardjolukito in the AnteroPosterior (AP) projection uses a perpendicular vertical beam direction. Meanwhile, according to Lampignano & Kendrick, (2018) Cystography examination in the AnteroPosterior (AP) projection, the beam direction is angled 10˚-15˚ towards the caudad. The purpose of this study was to determine the Cystography examination procedure and the role of the antero posterior (AP) projection in cystography examination with clinical bladder stone using a perpendicular beam direction to the image receptor in the Radiology Installation of RSPAU dr. Suhardi Hardjolukito. This research method uses qualitative descriptive with a case study approach. This research was conducted at the Radiology Installation of RSPAU dr. Suhardi Hardjolukito from March to May 2025. The objects in this study were patients undergoing Cystography examination, with the research subjects consisting of one patient who experienced a case of Batu Buli. After the data was reduced, the data presentation was carried out in narrative form and then reviewed with a theoretical basis so that conclusions could be drawn. The results of this study indicate that the examination procedure for Cystography with clinical Batu Buli at the Radiology Installation of RSPAU dr. Suhardi Hardjolukito includes patient preparation, preparation of tools and materials, examination techniques, and gradual injection of contrast media. The gradual administration of contrast medium is effective for monitoring the patient's condition and preventing complications such as bladder rupture. This modification of the technique demonstrates that standard procedures can be adapted while maintaining optimal diagnostic quality.
