Abstract

The present study seeks to investigate the impact of utilizing the Beelinguapp application on the reading comprehension skills of tenth-grade students enrolled in class X-10 at SMAN 1 Kademangan. This study employs quantitative and experimental research methodologies, specifically a pre-experimental study characterized by a one-group pretest-posttest design. The research participants comprised a total of 34 students from class X-10 at SMAN 1 Kademangan. The data collection technique was a test carried out before and after treatment using the Beelinguapp application. The findings of the study indicated a notable improvement in the students' capacity to read and comprehend procedural texts following the implementation of the Beelinguapp application. This improvement is statistically supported by a t-test significance value of 0.000, which is significantly lower than the conventional threshold of 0.05. Apart from that, the average pretest score was 72.65 which increased to 81.47 on the posttest. This increase shows that there is a significant positive impact from using the Beelinguapp application in learning to read and understand procedural texts. The aforementioned results emphasize the capacity of technology-driven methods to enhance language acquisition results and emphasize the significance of Beelinguapp as a flexible and efficient instrument for cultivating reading skills.

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the 3G Web-Based Quiz in enhancing the learning of the Simple Past Tense among students of Class X at SMAN 4 Kota Blitar. This study uses a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest methodology. Purposive sampling was used to select 36 students from SMAN 4 Kota Blitar's Class X J. Students' scores from before and after the treatment were compared to determine how effective the web-based quiz was. The student's performance significantly improved, as evidenced by the post-test results, with the average pre-test score of 61.03 increasing to 82.94 in the post-test. Statistical analysis using a paired sample t-test revealed a calculated significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) of 0.001, indicating < α 0.05. Therefore, Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. This means that the pre-test and post-test scores differ significantly, indicating that 3G web-based quizzes effectively improve the learning achievement of Simple past tenses of class X students at SMAN 4 Blitar. Abstract

This study aimed to assess the effectiveness of Jamboard in enhancing the vocabulary achievement of seventh-grade students at SMPN 1 Gandusari, particularly in describing places and understanding meanings, synonyms, and antonyms. The research employed a one-group pretest and post-test pre-experimental design involving 32 students. The methodology included three key phases: pretest, treatment, and post-test. Tests were used to gather data, and before administering the test to the participants, the test's reliability and validity were ensured through preliminary trials. Data analysis was conducted using paired sample t-tests with SPSS 25. The findings revealed a significant improvement in students' vocabulary achievement, with scores increasing from an average of 63.63 in the pretest to 92.25 in the post-test. The paired sample t-test indicated a Sig. (2-tailed) value of less than 0.05, confirming a significant difference in learning outcomes between the pretest and post-test. This suggests that Jamboard effectively improves the vocabulary of seventh-grade students at SMPN 1 Gandusari, particularly in describing places. Based on these results, it is recommended that teachers incorporate Jamboard into English language instruction to make learning more engaging. Teachers could also use Jamboard to teach other topics.
