Abstract

Playing gives children the possibility of active participation and enables development, achieving confidence and better in relations between groups. Through games children can learn social skills and obtain certain rules in games that are temporarily played. Departing this, the purpose of this study was to see how much the contribution of traditional games to the quality of children's social relations at school. This ability is included in the socioemotional aspect. After knowing, the goal in the future also wants to make a model that contains the procedures for applying traditional play methods in the curriculum / school subjects to be able to help children develop optimally the socioemotional aspects. The research method used is the qualitative and quantitative approaches. Quantitative approaches are used primarily about the presentation of children's social behaviors in school; while the qualitative approach is used more intensively in the analysis of the quality of children's social relations, along with the profile and results of the treatment given. The procedures used in this study are research and development procedures. Research and development procedures are used based on the reason that this study is intended to get an initial picture of the quality of children's social relations and it is hoped that in the next research it can produce a product that is the application of traditional games in subjects that aim to improve children's social relations skills. There are some findings obtained first, the results that children who are involved in some traditional games that are performed look more able to do teamwork or good communication with friends. They are indirectly trained in good communication skills and strategies. Secondly, they also after doing a game together, they tend to invite their friends in class to do the same thing. Third, children who are involved in traditional games have a good increase in gross motor activities

Abstract

Self-efficacy can help a person to master the situation and create positive results. Self-efficacy has a strong influence on behavior. This study aims to see that the effect of self-efficacy on student achievement is seen from the student's GPA. Students who have high self-efficacy will have high learning achievement and vice versa. The research method used in this study is a quantitative research method. The population in this study were students of the Guidance and Counseling Study Program, FKIP University of Pattimura, batch 2021. The self-efficacy measuring instrument is divided into three domains, namely, magnitude level, generality, and strength. The majority of respondents in this study were female, as many as 40 people out of 44 respondents. The age range of the respondents in this study was 18 to 25 years. Based on the results of hypothesis testing, it is found that the relationship between self-efficacy and GPA is by using the correlation number between the two variables, the correlation number is .313 with a significance level of .000. This means that there is a significant relationship between self-efficacy and GPA.

Abstract

The aimed of this study is to determine gratitude index on secondary school students who study in Ambon during pandemic COVID-19. Gratitude in this article described as an emotion, moral factor and virtue in person (Emmons & McCullough, 2003). This research was administered among 185 students from eleven Secondary School in Ambon, used adaptation of 6 item The Gratitude Questionnaire-Six-Item Form (GQ-6). The result showed that students in secondary school scored low in Gratitude scale. Furthermore, the scale showed that the students have higher score on affective traits, meanwhile scored low on emphatic skills

Abstract

COVID-19, which has plagued the world since 2020, has brought changes in the order of human life globally, and ultimately has an impact on the psychological state of individuals, including teenagers. The aim of this study is to find the differences between students’ gratitude score before and after the implementation of writing gratitude journal regularly. Participants on this study was 20 adolescents in Ambon City Maluku Indonesia, consists of 6 boys and 14 girls. The participants age was between 15-16 years old. Quantitative Method with experimental design used in this study. From the results, it was found that the significant value in the table paired samples correlations was 0.418, meaning that there are relationship between the results of the pre-test and post-test because the value was > sig. 0.05. Although the increase in the value of gratitude among adolescents in Ambon is not too large and increases their classification to be included in the criteria for groups that have sufficient gratitude scores, the important thing explained in implementing gratitude education actually lies in its aim to inspire students that it is important to be grateful in all circumstances. and it's not just about saying thank you or showing grateful behavior.
