Abstract

To get a quality process and student learning outcomes of course required maximum teacher performance. Teacher performance will be maximized if teachers who have in-depth mastery of the material, have good communication skills, are committed in their duties, are able to utilize learning media effectively which will help in the smooth learning process. It should be realized that the low performance of teachers can reduce the quality of education and hinder the achievement of educational goals in schools. For this reason, teacher performance needs to be managed properly so that there is no decline. This study aims to determine the significant effect of competence and work motivation on teacher performance. This research was conducted at a public high school in Sirimau District, Ambon City. In this study using a quantitative descriptive method. The research method used is the correlation, partial and simultaneous test method using the SPSS 21.0 program. The results of this study indicate, 1) there is a significant effect of competence on teacher performance with a tcount 3.287 and t-table 1.998, 2) there is a significant effect of work motivation on teacher performance with a t-count 2.663 and t-table 1.998, 3) there is an influence significant competence and work motivation on teacher performance with a value of fcount 21,258 and ftable 3,150. The conclusion is that there is a significant influence of competence and work motivation on the performance of teachers at SMA Negeri in Sirimau District, Ambon City.

Abstract

Teacher performance does not just happen, but is influenced by certain factors. Both internal and external factors have an impact on teacher performance. Internal performance factors are factors that come from within a person that affect their performance such as: perception, field experience, motivation to become a teacher, family background, abilities, skills and personality. It needs to be realized that low teacher performance can reduce the quality of education and hinder the achievement of educational goals in schools. For this reason, teacher performance needs to be managed properly so that there is no decline. This study aims to determine the significant effect of learning leadership and work motivation on teacher performance. This study aims to determine the effect of learning leadership on teacher performance, the effect of work motivation on teacher performance and the effect of learning leadership and work motivation together on teacher performance. This research was conducted at State Junior High Schools in Baguala District, Ambon City. In this study using a quantitative descriptive method. The research method used is the correlation test method, partial and simultaneous using the SPSS 17.0 program. The results of this study indicate, 1) there is a significant influence of learning leadership on teacher performance with a value of tcount 2,222 and ttable 1,998, 2) there is a significant effect of work motivation on teacher performance with a value of tcount 4,441 and ttable 1,998, 3) there is significant influence of learning leadership and work motivation on teacher performance with a value of fcount 9.709 and ftable 3,150. The conclusion is that there is a significant influence of learning leadership and work motivation on teacher performance at State Junior High Schools in Baguala Kota District.

Abstract

The aimed of this study is to determine gratitude index on secondary school students who study in Ambon during pandemic COVID-19. Gratitude in this article described as an emotion, moral factor and virtue in person (Emmons & McCullough, 2003). This research was administered among 185 students from eleven Secondary School in Ambon, used adaptation of 6 item The Gratitude Questionnaire-Six-Item Form (GQ-6). The result showed that students in secondary school scored low in Gratitude scale. Furthermore, the scale showed that the students have higher score on affective traits, meanwhile scored low on emphatic skills

Abstract

With the government's prohibition on face-to-face learning, schools from the elementary school to university levels are looking for alternative learning that is in accordance with the current covid pandemic conditions. Online learning is an alternative that is considered effective, where this learning utilizes internet technology in managing learning with a wider reach. By implementing online learning, we must pay more attention to the selection of application programs that are in accordance with the conditions and needs in learning. Office 365 is considered capable of accommodating learning needs during the current pandemic given the various advantages it has, but there are still weaknesses and obstacles that we need to examine so that learning can be effective and efficient even though it is carried out online and is able to improve students' academic and non-academic achievements. This study aims to evaluate online learning programs in the Covid-19 era through the Office 365 at SMP Negeri 5 Leihitu, Central Maluku. The research is a descriptive evaluation study with a qualitative approach and the CIPP evaluation model with the research subjects being the principal, vice principal for curriculum affairs, deputy principal for student affairs, and three senior teachers and 2 teachers. Data collection uses interview, observation and documentation techniques, while data analysis uses data reduction techniques, data presentation and ends with conclusion drawing or data verification. Based on the results of online learning evaluation research through Office 365 , it was found that in reality there were still facilities and infrastructure that were not yet available, the human resources for teachers and students were not adequate. However , learning can be carried out well , supported by competent operators and support from schools and parents.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of training education and teaching experience on the professionalism of public high school teachers in West Seram District, West Seram Regency. This research is a quantitative research with a correlational design. The population in this study were all vocational school teachers in Kairatu District and 83 teachers were selected as samples using the total sampling technique. The technique used to obtain through a closed questionnaire. Regression test statistics show that, (1) Training Education has a significant effect on teacher professionalism by 0.844 or 71.30%. The magnitude of this influence can be explained through the regression equation y ̂= 84.998+0.266x_1; (2) Teaching experience has a significant effect on professionalism by 0.940 or 88.30%. This influence can be explained through the regression equation, namely y ̂=17.176+0.824.; and (3) Education, training and teaching experience together. This effect can be explained through the regression equation y ̂ = 15.037+ 0.152x_1+ 0.738x_2.
