Abstract

Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Negeri Jakarta setiap tahunnya melakukan Tracer Study dalam memenuhi tuntutan pasar khususnya tenaga kerja maupun untuk meningkatkan daya saing dalam perbaikan sistem pendidikan selama ini. Hal ini ditunjang dengan mewujudkan pendataan yang berkelanjutan, pemantauan dan evaluasi mutu lulusan demi mewujudkan lulusan Fakultas Ekonomi yang akuntabel. Dengan pendekatan deskriptif, studi ini memperoleh gambaran umum mengenai masa tunggu, relevansi pekerjaan dengan pendidikan, dan bagaimana daya saing alumni dalam pasar tenaga kerja.

Abstract

Schools from all grades from elementary to secondary levels in have recently adopted the so-called remote learning, whether online or offline. The relatively unfamiliar learning conditions triggered some panic, not only among students but also teachers and parents alike. This sudden change also caused a similar shock to the students at SMKN 3 Depok. Consequently, the students experienced decreased enthusiasm and motivation, and many teachers were affected in how they should meet the learning objectives. The strategic learning management training during pandemic for students is a solution to boost the students’ motivation and help organize their learning more strategically. The training method is conducted in material presentation, discussion, question and answer, and experience sharing sessions to 255 students of class X SMKN 3 Depok City. The outcome shows how this activity has reignited the students’ learning enthusiasm and motivation.

Abstract

This study aims to see whether there is an influence between education proxied by the average length of schooling, gross regional domestic product (GRDP), and the realization of regional expenditure on poverty in the Regency / City of Nias Islands. The research method of this article is a quantitative method with multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The data used in this study are secondary data obtained through the central statistics agency and the Directorate General of Fiscal Balance (DJPK) of the Ministry of Finance in the form of panel data from five regencies / cities in Nias Islands in 2014-2023. Based on the partial analysis results, the education variable and the realization of regional expenditure have a positive and significant effect on the poverty rate. Meanwhile, gross regional domestic product and has a negative and significant effect on poverty in the Nias Islands region, which is seen from the probability value which is smaller than (0.05). The research variable can explain the Y variable by 0.950220 or 95% and the rest is explained by other variables outside the study.
