Abstract

Based on the results of PISA in 2000- 2009, the score of Indonesian students' science literacy with the average score was 500. The low score of Indonesian students’ acquisition is reflecting the poor performance of Indonesian students in learning science. This study was conducted to determine the students’ achievements of biological science literacy as the total score, science competency, content, context and problems format, and the description of scientific literacy PISA comparison with students’ origin school and the students’ National Examination result and the factors that influence it.This research is a descriptive research. It was conducted to student grade X in SMAN 1, SMAN 8, SMAN 13 and SMAN 16 Padang. The instrument used to collect data is the text about the biological scientific literacy PISA test taken from the book Take the Test: Sample Question from the OECD's PISA Assessment. The results showed that the highest score of biological science literacy based on the total score was obtained by the students of SMAN 1 score 57.50, SMAN 8 score 45.90, SMAN 13 score 43.50 and SMA 16 score 42.40. Based on the science competency, the students are good at applying scientific evidence. The overall score of the students’ science competency 48.51 (low), content t 48.12 (low) and context 46.82 (low) and the highest average score is in essay problem. It can conclude that the student of grade X, Senior High School in Padang have low point of students' science literacy

Abstract

Introduction: Adolescence is a transition period from childhood to adulthood which begins when the child shows signs of puberty and is followed by changes from non-sexual to sexual in individuals. A comfortable environment and place are supporting factors for having free sex or premarital sex, unhealthy sexual behavior among adolescents, especially unmarried adolescents, tends to increase. Problem: The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between knowledge and adolescent attitudes about premarital sex at SMK Widya 1 Batam in 2020. Design: The design of this study was quantitative descriptive by giving questionnaires to respondents. The population in this study were all students at SMK Widya 1 Batam, totaling 37 students. The sampling technique was taken by Total Sampling as many as 37 students. Analysis: Based on data analysis conducted regarding the frequency distribution of knowledge about premarital sex at SMK Widya 1 Batam, 19 respondents (51%) had good knowledge, 13 respondents (35%) had sufficient knowledge and 5 respondents (14%) had less knowledge. Frequency distribution of adolescent attitudes about premarital sex at SMK Widya 1 Batam 15 respondents (41%) have a good attitude, 16 respondents (43%) are moderate and 6 respondents (16%) are lacking. Bivariate analysis using chi square test and data collected using a questionnaire sheet. The results of this study obtained a bivariate P value of 0.04 < 0.05, meaning that it indicates that there is a relationship between knowledge and attitudes about premarital sex. Discussion: To overcome the problem of knowledge and attitudes of adolescents at SMK Widya 1 Batam, it is necessary to include it in learning ways about premarital sex. to students. Abstract

Introduction: Remaja adalah masa peralihan dari masa kanak-kanak ke masa dewasa yang dimulaisaat anak menunjukkan tanda-tanda pubertas dan dilanjutkan dengan terjadinya perubahanperubahandariyangbukanseksualmenjadiseksualpadaindividu.Lingkungandantempatyang nyamanmerupakanfaktorpendukunguntukmelakukanseksbebasatauseksualpranikah,perilaku seksual yang tidak sehat di kalangan remaja khususnya remaja yang belum menikah cenderungmeningkat. Problem: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan dengan sikapremaja tentang seks pranikah di SMK Widya 1 Batam Tahun 2020. Design: Design penelitian inideskritif kuantitatif dengan cara memberikan kuesioner kepada responden. Populasi dalampenelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa di SMK Widya 1 Batam yang berjumlah 37 siswa. Teknikpengambilan sampel diambil secara Total Sampling sebanyak 37 siswa. Analisis: Berdasarkananalisa data yang dilakukan mengenai distribusi frekuensi pengetahuan tentang seks pranikah diSMK Widya 1 Batam di dapatkan 19 responden (51%) berpengetahuan baik, 13 responden (35%)berpengetahuan cukup dan 5 responden (14%) berpengetahuan kurang. Distribusi frekuensi sikapremaja tentang seks pranikah di SMK Widya 1 Batam 15 responden (41) memiliki sikap baik, 16responden (43%) bersikap cukup dan 6 responden (16%) bersikap kurang. Analisis bivariat denganmenggunakan uji chi square dan data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan lembar kuesioner. Hasilpenelitian ini bivariate diperoleh Pvalue yaitu 0,04 < 0,05 artinya menunjukkan bahwa terdapathubungan antara pengetahuan dengan sikap tentang seks pranikah.Discussion: Untuk mengatasimasalah pengetahuan dan sikap remaja di SMK Widya 1 Batam perlu di masukkan kedalampembelajaran cara mengenai seks pranikah ke pada siswa.
