Abstract

Antenatal Care is a health screening service provided to mothers during their pregnancy period in accordance with the standard of antenatal care, which includes several elements of service, blood pressure, measurement of Upper Arm Circles, measurement of height, immunization, giving Tablets, determining fetal heart rate, conducting speeches, laboratory test services, blood hemoglobin tests, examining urine protein, checking blood type The purpose of this study was to find out the relationship between husband's support and knowledge of pregnant women in prenatal care in Tanjung Uncang Community Health Center. The research design used in this study was a cross-sectional approach — this research conducted in Tanjung Uncang Health Center in 2018 with a sample of 31 people. Of the 31 respondents as many as 15 people (49%) respondents whose knowledge is excellent, as many as ten people (32%) whose knowledge is sufficiently supported and six people (19%) respondents lack knowledge. As many as 12 people (39%) respondents whose husband's support was excellent, ten people (32%) had enough support from their husbands, and nine people (29%) their husband's support was lacking. Then it can be stated that there is a relationship between husband's support and the knowledge of pregnant women in the Tanjung Uncang health center.

Abstract

Still encountered several problems in work productivity. Based on interviews with several nurses found problems in terms of work productivity such as errors in the recording of patient documentation, undisciplined working hours, the relationship between work teams that have not maximized, the dissatisfaction in providing incentives and training problems that are not sufficient standards. Therefore, this study aims to determine the factors associated with work productivity of nurses in the inpatient room of Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Petala Bumi Riau Province in 2017 based on work environment, supervision, training and incentive.This research is quantitative analytic observational with cross sectional design type of cross sectional study. The number of samples in this study were nurses who fulfilled the exclusion criteria of 57 people. Univariate and bivariate data analysis technique with chi square test, followed by multivariate test using multiple logistic regression.From the results of bivariate analysis related to work productivity of nurses in the inpatient room is the work environment, supervision and training. While incentives have no relationship to work productivity of nurses. From the result of multivariate analysis, the most influencing variable on the work productivity of the nurses in the inpatient room is training (OR: 17,5, 95% CI 1.42-216,6) and work environment as confounding variable.For that need to make improvements and addition of physical facilities to develop and improve the work performance of nurses, more attention to the head of the room in applying supervision as an alternative for the nurse to achieve work productivity by conducting proper training to the nurse, in order to create a climate and work atmosphere more good, and reduce the incidence of accidents due to work.

Abstract

Preventive and control measures for tuberculosis (TB) in Indonesia, aiming for TB elimination by 2030, are part of Indonesia's commitment, including sustainable development goals. Limited knowledge, poor behavior, and suboptimal TB prevention and control measures in that company have been observed. The method of activity to be implemented with the community service partner, PT. Lancang Kuning Sukses (LKS), includes: 1) the distribution of leaflets and health promotion to improve workers' knowledge and behavior change in TB prevention and control through questionnaires; 2) direct education and training with company leaders through face-to-face interviews. Based on the results of the community service activities conducted, findings include: 1) a significant improvement in workers' knowledge and behavior towards TB prevention and control through leaflets and health promotion, 2) an awareness from the company to change actions for TB prevention and control in the workplace through direct education and training with company leaders. Based on the community service results, it is concluded that the partner PT. LKS is effective in actions for TB prevention and control at the workplace, thereby helping to reduce TB cases and assisting in the move towards elimination in Indonesia by the year 2030.

Abstract

Introduction: Remaja adalah masa peralihan dari masa kanak-kanak ke masa dewasa yang dimulaisaat anak menunjukkan tanda-tanda pubertas dan dilanjutkan dengan terjadinya perubahanperubahandariyangbukanseksualmenjadiseksualpadaindividu.Lingkungandantempatyang nyamanmerupakanfaktorpendukunguntukmelakukanseksbebasatauseksualpranikah,perilaku seksual yang tidak sehat di kalangan remaja khususnya remaja yang belum menikah cenderungmeningkat. Problem: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan dengan sikapremaja tentang seks pranikah di SMK Widya 1 Batam Tahun 2020. Design: Design penelitian inideskritif kuantitatif dengan cara memberikan kuesioner kepada responden. Populasi dalampenelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa di SMK Widya 1 Batam yang berjumlah 37 siswa. Teknikpengambilan sampel diambil secara Total Sampling sebanyak 37 siswa. Analisis: Berdasarkananalisa data yang dilakukan mengenai distribusi frekuensi pengetahuan tentang seks pranikah diSMK Widya 1 Batam di dapatkan 19 responden (51%) berpengetahuan baik, 13 responden (35%)berpengetahuan cukup dan 5 responden (14%) berpengetahuan kurang. Distribusi frekuensi sikapremaja tentang seks pranikah di SMK Widya 1 Batam 15 responden (41) memiliki sikap baik, 16responden (43%) bersikap cukup dan 6 responden (16%) bersikap kurang. Analisis bivariat denganmenggunakan uji chi square dan data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan lembar kuesioner. Hasilpenelitian ini bivariate diperoleh Pvalue yaitu 0,04 < 0,05 artinya menunjukkan bahwa terdapathubungan antara pengetahuan dengan sikap tentang seks pranikah.Discussion: Untuk mengatasimasalah pengetahuan dan sikap remaja di SMK Widya 1 Batam perlu di masukkan kedalampembelajaran cara mengenai seks pranikah ke pada siswa. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian berdasarkan survei awal yang peneliti lakukan kepada pekerja di PT.X melalui wawancara kepada 10 pekerja di PT. X, diketahui mayoritas pekerja memiliki pengetahuan dan sikap yang kurang tentang K3 dan berdasarkan wawancara pernah terjadi kecelakaan ringan seperti tangan terjepit pintu, tergores. Penelitian deskriptif ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif untuk standar ilmiah secara sistematis, obyektif, terukur menentukan bagaimana variabel bebas (independent), yaitu variabel pengetahuan K3 dan sikap, mempengaruhi variabel terikat (dependent), yaitu variabel perilaku K3. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 50 sampel pekerja di unit facility PT. X. Populasi digunakan sebagai sampel, jumlah sampel 50 responden. Analisis statistik menggunakan uji chi -square, dengan instrument penelitian wawancara menggunakan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian, terdapat hubungan tingkat pengetahuan dengan nilai p value = 0,012, terdapat hubungan sikap pekerja dengan nilai p velue = 0,010. Diharapkan kepada PT.X Kota Batam untuk dapat mempertahankan bahkan meningkatkan performa terkait informasi tentang K3, seperti poster, brosur yang harus jelas dan mudah dimengerti, Pekerja berperilaku yang baik tidak hanya membantu setiap orang tetap aman, tetapi juga dapat membangun lingkungan kerja yang aman, seperti dengan sukarela berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan keselamatan dan membantu rekan kerja menghindari bahaya di tempat kerja.

Abstract

Pelayanan kesehatan dan keperawatan yang diberikan oleh tenaga kesehatan di rumah sakit diharapkan dapat memenuhi berbagai dimensi, salah satunya adalah keselamatan pasien, yang mencakup pencegahan infeksi yang didapat di rumah sakit. Health Care Associated Infections (HAIs) dapat mencakup infeksi pada staf rumah sakit dan petugas kesehatan. Tenaga kesehatan di rumah sakit diwajibkan untuk selalu menggunakan Alat Pelindung Diri (APD) saat merawat pasien sesuai dengan Peraturan Pemerintah/Kementerian Kesehatan Nomor 52 Tahun 2018. Pada Tahun 2023, dua petugas terjangkit tuberkulosis akibat pekerjaannya, tiga orang tertular hepatitis B Surface Antigen), dan satu orang terjangkit Human Immunodeficiency Virus hal ini terjadi karena kurangnya kepatuhan petugas medis menggunakan alat pelindung diri (APD). Tujuan penelitian ini melihat hubungan kepatuhan pekerja dalam penggunaan alat pelindung diri terhadap infeksi biologi di Ruang Isolasi Rumah Sakit X. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian cross-sectional,populasi dalam penelitian ini 40 orang yaitu seluruh petugas yang bekerja di ruang isolasi, Teknik pengambilan sampel total sampling. Metode analisis data menggunakan uji chi-square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dari 40 responden, terdapat 20 (50%) responden yang patuh dalam menggunakan alat pelindung diri, dari 40 pekerja, 11 orang (27%) dinyatakan terinfeksi dan uji chi-square menunjukkan nilai p-value sebesar 0.013 ? 0.05 berarti adanya hubungan yang substansial antara kepatuhan penggunaan alat pelindung diri (APD) dengan terjadinya penyakit biologis pada pekerja di ruang isolasi. Simpulan dalam penelitian ini yaitu tingkat kepatuhan responden menggunakan alat pelindung diri seimbang, sebagian besar responden tidak terinfeksi dan adanya hubungan kepatuhan penggunaan alat pelindung diri (APD) dengan terjadinya penyakit biologis pada pekerja di ruang isolasi.

Abstract

X merupakan salah satu perusahaan manufaktur yang bergerak dibidang Fabrication dan Rent Equipment yang dalam pengoperasiannya tidak lepas dari alat-alat berat sehingga risiko kecelakaan yang sangat tinggi dan berakibat sangat fatal. Pentingnya kesadaran tentang Budaya Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) agar terjaminnya hidup para pekerja dan meningkatkan produktifitas yang mampu membuat para pekerja itu nyaman dalam melaksanakan tugasnya. Implementasi Budaya Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) terhadap pekerja di PT. X masih sangat minim dikarenakan masih banyak para pekerja yang tidak memahami akan pentingnya keselamatan mereka sendiri apalagi keselamatan para pekerja yang lainnya. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan metode yang dipakai studi korelasi dengan desain cross sectional karena variabel bebas dan variabel terikat akan diteliti dalam waktu yang bersamaan. Jumlah populasi 100 orang dengan sampel penelitian sebanyak 51 orang dengan menggunakan menggunakan purposive sampling. Analisis variable independen adalah Komitmen Top Manajemen, Peraturan dan Prosedur K3, Komunikasi Pekerja, Kompetensi Pekerja, Lingkungan Kerja dan Keterlibatan Pekerja) serta variable dependen adalah Kecelakaan Kerja. Analisis bivariate yaitu hubungan variable independent dengan variable dependen. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan antara variable independent dengan variable dependen dimana nilai pada p value (< ? 0,05). Kesimpulannya adalah diharapkan perusahaan tersebut dapat lebih meningkatkan kualitas implementasi Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja bagi para pekerjan juga dapat meningkatkan produktivitas sehingga dapat mencapai hasil yang maksimal.

Abstract

Period of work can influence a person's actions, in other words, tenure can influence knowledge. In this study, employees who have worked for a long time understand fire emergency response preparedness more quickly than new employees, which can be dangerous for workers if they know about fire emergency response actions. Good. The aim of this research is to find the relationship between work experience, knowledge and the availability of advice in the PT shop 1 area. X Batam City 2024. This research uses quantitative methods with a total population of 38 respondents. The sampling technique uses total sampling where the number of samples is the same as the total sampling. Statistical analysis uses the chi-square test with research instruments using questionnaires and observation sheets. The research results show a relationship between length of service and emergency response preparedness with a P value = 0.046, there is a relationship between knowledge and emergency response preparedness with a P value = 0.024, there is a relationship between the availability of facilities and emergency response preparedness with a P value = 0.002. expected from PT. X to conduct weekly or monthly inspections in order to ensure that each APAR functions well, providing an emergency response training at least every 6 months so that new employees understand the procedure of fire emergency response.

Abstract

HIV/AIDS remains a major public health issue, especially among productive-age workers. In Indonesia, over 51% of new HIV cases in 2023 were reported among workers, highlighting the urgent need for workplace-based interventions. This community service program aimed to empower workers at PT X Batam through health campaigns and early screening for HIV/AIDS. A total of 40 employees were randomly selected to participate in pre-test and post-test assessments involving knowledge and behavioral questionnaires. The intervention included educational leaflets, health campaigns, and HIV/AIDS risk screening. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon test. Results showed significant improvements in knowledge and preventive behaviors (p = 0.001). In-depth interviews with company leaders revealed growing institutional commitment to HIV/AIDS prevention. This program demonstrated the effectiveness of targeted workplace health education and screening in improving awareness and reducing stigma. The findings underscore the importance of integrating HIV/AIDS prevention strategies into occupational health policies to foster a healthier and more productive workforce.
