Abstract

This study aims to describe the problems in the application of French as a language used to communicate in the school environment, the level of active French language skills, and also the level of need for the development of multimedia learning French to further practice speaking skills in French carried out by students in the school environment. This research was a descriptive qualitative research with 60 student needs evaluation questionnaires of French language learning multimedia, interviewed the headmaster, and two French teachers. The sample of this research is the principal, French teacher and also students at SDIT Ar-Raudhah, Bekasi from the third until the sixth grade who were selected using random sampling method. The data was collected by interviewing the principal and also the French teacher. In addition, a questionnaire or open questionnaire was given to students. The data that has been collected is then analyzed using qualitative descriptive techniques. The results of research showed that there was a decline in the practice of speaking French in the school environment caused by various problems faced by students, such as the difficulty of students understanding French material and grammar, lack of confidence from students to communicate using French, there is no firmness from the school on the rules made in improving the ability of students to communicate using French and learning support media that are still incomplete to be used by students in improving their ability to communicate using French. This shows that the level of development need for multimedia in learning French, especially in the aspect of speaking skills is very high, thus requiring schools to be able to provide facilities that use multimedia in the French language learning process at SDIT Ar-Raudhah.

Abstract

The increasing development of technology, followed by the development of science, makes it easier for the world of education to develop knowledge. One example of convenience in the world of education is digitalization. Digitalization makes the learning process completely digital and easier. One form of digitalization in the world of education is Artificial Intelligence (AI) called ChatGPT (Generative PreTrained Transformer) which is used by students in the learning process. This research aims to analyze the responses of French and German students at the Faculty of Language Arts and Culture, Yogyakarta State University to the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) called ChatGPT (Generative PreTrained Transformer) in the learning process. The object of the research is questionnaire data on the perceptions of French and German students. The data collection method used is the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) method, namely Actual System Usage (ACU), Perceived Usefulness (PU), Perceived Ease of Use (PEOU), Attitude Toward Use (ATU), Behavioral Intention to Use (BI) . The Likert scale was used as a research instrument, namely strongly disagree, disagree, quite agree, agree, and strongly agree. The research results showed that the two highest average ratings obtained from the five indicators were "Quite Agree" with a percentage of >35% and "Agree" with a percentage of >20%. This shows that students more or less agree with the use of ChatGPT in the process of learning French and German. The results of interviews with students also show that ChatGPT can be used in the French and German learning process, such as to find and develop ideas and complete lecture assignments. However, continuous use of ChatGPT can have a bad impact and create a feeling of dependence on ChatGPT, so it is very important to pay attention to its use. This research provides insight into French and German students' perceptions of the use of ChatGPT in the foreign language learning process.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan kepada guru di SD Angkasa 3 Halim Perdanakusuma mengenai penggunaan Kahoot sebagai sarana pembuatan media pembelajaran interaktif. Guru sering mengalami kesulitan dalam mengakses situs atau mengoperasikan perangkat teknologi untuk membuat media pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu diperlukan pelatihan untuk mengembangkan kompetensi guru dalam pembuatan media interaktif. Salah satu aplikasi yang dapat dimanfaatkan adalah Kahoot. Kahoot merupakan aplikasi berbasis game yang bisa dimanfaatkan untuk assesmen ataupun ice breaking. Keunggulan lain Kahoot yang yaitu tidak berbayar untuk aplikasi dasar dan menawarkan bermacam–macam template atau design untuk media pembelajaran, sehingga guru tidak perlu membuat media dari awal, tetapi bisa menggunakan template yang sudah tersedia dan menyesuaikannya dengan materi yang akan diajarkan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan dalam bentuk workshop daring.. Pelatihan yang dilakukan memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap kemampuan guru dalam membuat media pembelajaran interaktif yang menarik sehingga dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa, meningkatkan keaktifan siswa di kelas, sekaligus mempermudah penilaian atas pemahaman siswa terhadap materi yang diajarkan oleh guru.

Abstract

Teknologi merupakan suatu produk dari pendidikan yang kemudian bermanfaat bagi pendidikan itu senditi. Integrasi teknologi pada pendidikan bertujuan untuk efisiensi dan efektifitas dalam menyampaikan informasi pembelajaran pada semua tingkat pendidikan. Pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan dalam bentuk pelatihan dengan participant-centered. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah pelatihan pemanfaatan Canva sebagai salah satu sarana pembuatan media pembelajaran yang interaktif. Canva merupakan salah satu aplikasi desain grafis berbasis daring yang dapat dimanfaatkan secara gratis. Canva memiliki fitur template atau desain siap pakai yang variatif dan mudah digunakan untuk para pemula. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan ketrampilan para peserta yang telah mampu membuat desain media pembelajaran menarik sesuai dengan kebutuhan masing-masing peserta.

Abstract

Flood occurrence in tropical watershed systems is increasingly linked to structural landscape transformation and declining ecological regulation capacity. In the Cimandiri Watershed of West Java, rapid land conversion over the past three decades has altered hydrological processes and intensified downstream vulnerability. This research investigates long-term land use transitions (1990–2024), evaluates watershed degradation using weighted biophysical indicators, and identifies strategic zones for ecosystem-based flood mitigation. Spatial analysis integrating land use, slope gradient, and critical land status reveals that 42.44% of the watershed area is categorized as moderately to highly degraded. Built-up land expanded almost fourfold during the study period, while forest cover declined substantially, indicating a shift from infiltration-dominated to runoff-dominated hydrological behavior. Areas with elevated degradation levels spatially correspond to zones of recurrent flood exposure in downstream and coastal sectors. The study proposes targeted implementation of Nature-Based Solutions (NbS), including upstream reforestation, riparian buffer restoration, and downstream retention enhancement, as a complementary strategy to conventional infrastructure. The findings emphasize that flood risk in Cimandiri is a systemic watershed issue shaped by cumulative upstream–downstream interactions rather than isolated local factors
