Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this research was to examine the relations between emotional intelligent and spiritual intelligent with pro-social behavior. The subjects of the study were 175 students of Pondok Pesantren Nasyrul Ulum Pamekasan, consist of 96 boys and 79 girls. Data were collected by scales of emotional intelligent, spiritual intelligent, and pro-social behavior. The data analysis used  multiple regression analysis and then correlations. Results of multiple regression analysis showed that the emotional intelligent and spiri-tual intelligent have a significant relation with prosocial behavior. The result of correlation analyses between either emotional intelligence or spiri-tual intelligence with prosocial behavior showed a positive correlation signify-cantly. Variables of emotional intelligent and spiritual intelligent give effect-tive contribution toward prosocial behavior about 55,1%. Abstract

This study aims to reveal the effect of service learning on students' prosocial behaviour in boarding schools. A quantitative research approach with a quasi-experimental research design was used in this study. Researchers chose to use a non-equivalent pretest-posttest control group design, which is a design that measures the behaviour of the experimental group and control group before and after treatment. The population in this study were Santri Pondok Pesantren Sabilul Ihsan Pamekasan with the characteristics of boarding students and following the study of Kitab Bidayatul Hidayah. Total sampling was carried out because the population in the study was small, then grouped into experimental groups and control groups. The collected data were analyzed using analysis of covariance (ANOVA) with the SPSS 16 for Windows program. From the analysis that has been done, the results of this study indicate that (1) There are differences in the prosocial behaviour of boarding school students before and after the application of the service learning method in the experimental class. (2) The application of the service learning method is more effective than the bandongan method to improve the students' prosocial behaviour. The results found that service learning had a greater effect on the prosocial behaviour of boarding school students in the experimental group than the students in the control group. The application of service learning conducted in the experimental group was able to increase the prosocial behaviour of students with an effective contribution of 50.1 per cent.

Abstract

Siswa Madrasah Aliyah (MA/Sederajat) pada umumnya tergolong dalam masa remaja yang identik dengan terjadinya perubahan khususnya secara fisik. Terdapat ugas perkembangan pada masa ini yaitu individu harus mampu belajar menerima keadaan dirinya seperti dalam hal fisik. Namun pada kenyataannya masih banyak dijumpai kalangan remaja yang tidak mampu menerima keadaan diri yang dimilikinya. Kondisi ini bisa menandakan kecenderungan body dysmorphic disorder. Adapun menurut Phillips sesuatu yang dapat menyebabkan hal tersebut adalah ejekan atau celaan, terlebih ejekan terhadap fisik yang biasa disebut body shaming. Penelitian dilakukan untuk mengkaji apakah tindakan body shaming dapat berpengaruh terhadap kecenderungan mengalami body dysmorphic disorder pada siswa Madrasah Aliyah dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif korelasi dan teknik pengambilan sampelnya yaitu total sampling. Data penelitian diperoleh dengan menyebarkan kuesioner Skala Body Shaming yang berkaitan dengan teori Frederickson dan Robert, dan Skala Body Dysmorphic Disorder yang berkaitan dengan teori Phillips. Adapun proses analisisnya menggunakan bantuan IBM SPSS Version 23. Hasil penelitian membuktikankan bahwa body shaming berdampak terhadap kecenderungan mengalami body dysmorphic disorder pada siswa Madrasah Aliyah, dengan pengaruh sebesar 20,6%. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, menandakan bahwa Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak.

Abstract

The bullying do not only take place in schools, but also in the pesantren where Islamic education is better. This condition emphasizes that to this day the bullying are still a threat, especially to the victims. There is a need for individual resilience in the face of psychological trauma as the impact of it becomes a shared responsibility, not only the pesantren but also the parents and society. Therefore, the purpose of dedication to this community is to increase the individual resilience of the victim to remove psychological trauma and prevent repetitive negotiations. The method of activities is carried out in the form of some psycho-educational activities, group discussions and counselling. The participants were followed by 49 the student pesantren, who were previously screened to distinguish between the perpetrator and the victim. Group discussions are given to both groups, the perpetrator and the victim, to identify the motives and the impact felt. Counseling is only given to the victim who is in great need to remove negative emotions and find enlightenment to rise from the negotiating trauma state. Implementation of community devotion activities from 19 August 2023 until 3 November 2023 supported by the research and community dedication institute Trunojoyo Madura University in cooperation with pesantren in Madura. The results showed an improvement in individual resilience based on pre-test and post-test scores of participants, with an effective contribution of 59.6%. It can be concluded that psycho-educational activities, group discussions and counselling can improve individual resistance in helping relieve psychological trauma and prevent repetitive bullying.Perundungan tidak hanya terjadi di sekolah, namun juga di pondok pesantren yang notabene pendidikan agama Islamnya lebih baik. Kondisi ini mempertegas bahwa sampai saat ini perundungan masih menjadi ancaman, khususnya terhadap korban. Perlunya ketahanan individu dalam menghadapi trauma psikis sebagai dampak yang ditimbulkan menjadi tanggungjawab bersama, bukan hanya lembaga pesantren namun juga orang tua dan masyarakat. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, tujuan dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini untuk meningkatkan ketahanan individu korban untuk menghapus trauma psikis dan mencegah perundungan berulang. Metode kegiatan dilaksanakan dalam bentuk beberapa kegiatan psikoedukasi, diskusi kelompok dan konseling. Partisipan diikuti oleh 49 santri pondok pesantren, yang diskrining sebelumnya untuk memilah antara pelaku dan korban. Diskusi kelompok diberikan kepada kedua kelompok yaitu pelaku dan korban untuk mengidentifikasi motif dan dampak yang dirasakan. Konseling hanya diberikan pada korban yang sangat membutuhkan untuk melepas emosi negative dan menemukan pencerahan untuk bangkit kembali dari kondisi trauma perundungan. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian kepada Masyarakat mulai 19 Agustus 2023sampai dengan 3 November 2023 yang didukung oleh lembaga penelitian dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat Universitas Trunojoyo Madura bekerjasama dengan pondok pesantren X. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan ketahanan individu berdasarkan nilai pre-tes dan pos-tes partisipan, dengan sumbangan efektif sebesar 59,6 %. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan psikoedukasi, diskusi kelompok dan konseling dapat meningkatkan ketahanan individu dalam membantu melepaskan trauma psikologis dan mencegah terjadinya perundungan berulang. Monitoring dan evaluasi dilakukan berkelanjutan melalui pembentukan konselor peer group yang diikuti santri untuk mendampingi guru BK sebagai agen perubahan.

Abstract

This research explores the conflict resolution methods employed by the Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) in Sumenep Regency in the context of enforcing regional regulations, with a particular focus on the displacement of street vendors (PKL). The implementation of these regulations frequently leads to social tensions, especially when they impact marginalized groups like street vendors. Using a qualitative case study method, the study was carried out in urban parts of Sumenep, including Taman Tajamara and Giling Sumenep. Data were gathered through comprehensive interviews, on-site observations, and document analysis. The results indicate that coercive enforcement measures often provoke stronger public opposition, whereas approaches that encourage cooperation and community involvement are more successful in fostering mutual trust and resolving disputes peacefully. The research highlights the necessity of embedding social justice values and restorative approaches in regulatory enforcement to promote constructive and harmonious relationships between authorities and the public.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the meaning of psychological safety for santri in the context of the implementation of the Pesantren Sharing and Care (PSP) program carried out by the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Sumenep Regency. The background of this study is the increasing awareness of the importance of creating a pesantren environment that is not only religious but also child-friendly and supportive of the psychosocial well-being of santri. Using a qualitative approach with a case study method, data was collected through in-depth interviews, field observations, and documentary studies at two boarding schools targeted by the PSP program. Data analysis was conducted using thematic analysis. The research findings revealed four main themes related to psychological safety: (1) feeling safe to speak up and express opinions without fear of punishment, (2) the development of empathetic relationships between students and caregivers, (3) the importance of physical spaces that support emotional comfort, such as counseling rooms and gardens, and (4) challenges posed by seniority culture and hidden violence that still persist. The PSP program plays a significant role in creating a more open, participatory, and caring environment that addresses the emotional needs of students. However, achieving a comprehensive transformation of values requires time, continuous evaluation, and structural and cultural support from all elements of the boarding school.
