Abstract

Garam merupakan komoditas yang selalu dibutuhkan oleh masyarakat baik untuk konsumsi maupun industri. Permintaan garam yang tinggi di pasar membuat produsen garam harus bisa memenuhi kebutuhan akan komoditas ini. Desa Dresi Kulon Kecamatan Kaliori merupakan salah satu daerah yang memproduksi garam. Mayoritas masyarakat Desa Dresi Kulon merupakan petani garam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dinamika apa yang terjadi dalam kehidupan petani garam tradisional di Desa Dresi Kulon dan bagaimana strategi yang dilakukan oleh petani garam untuk memenuhi kebutuhan ekonominya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif analitis. Data didapatkan dengan cara observasi partisipatoris, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa adanya kendala yang dialami oleh petani garam meliputi perubahan cuaca, banyaknya impor garam, dan menurunnya harga garam karena hasil garam yang melimpah. Adanya berbagai kendala dalam memproduksi garam memaksa petani garam harus beralih profesi melakukan pekerjaan sampingan menjadi nelayan, petani sawah, dan tukang ojek. Selain itu, mereka juga memanfaatkan relasi atau jaringan, alternatif subsistensi, dan mengikat sabuk lebih kencang. Petani garam di Desa Dresi Kulon menggunakan prinsip mekanisme survival yang merupakan bagian dari teori moral ekonomi petani yang dikemukakan oleh James C. Scott. Hal tersebut merupakan bentuk dari strategi yang dilakukan oleh petani garam agar tetap survive dalam menghadapi kendala yang terjadi selama produksi garam.

Abstract

Instagram accounts owned by cultural industry have been followed by millions of followers and are not limited to a group of people in a country because cyberspace creates unlimited communities. Cultural industries that use Instagram place halal (allowed in Islam) and syar'i (based on Islamic law) labels as important elements in promoting their commodities. The following article tries to look at the commodification of several posts on Instagram that are related to religious identity and the implications that are formed by the cultural industry in Muslim communities. The following qualitative research is analyzed by content analysis based on data collection - neographic studies - from several Instagram accounts, such as travel, fashion, and cosmetics agent acoounts which utilize Islamic attributes. The results of this study indicate that the cultural industry always introduces new trends of pop culture through Instagram by using religious attributes, such as using the terms halal, syar'i, or Muslim. Religion as an agency is widely used by the cultural industry in advertising its commodities. In addition, the agency is a tool to persuade consumers to buy commodities and at the same time it is able to identify consumers as pious and modern Muslims.

Abstract

The village is a place where people can live side by side in harmony and peace. This what actually has been aspired by our national law long time ago, that is a society which live in equity and prosperous . Laws are made to regulate and bring justice for all elements of the society. This justice should be able to presented by the policy maker and should be realized because it is awaited by all of elements. Especially in the current situation where the COVID-19 pandemic is occuring across the world which is Indonesia state is also affected. Many people, especially the grassroots got the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, they lost their jobs, that is very meaningful for them to fullfill their daily needs. The Government through the Ministry of Villages, Development of Rural Regions, and Transmigration in the midst of this situation released a program as one of the solution, that is direct grant (Banyuan Langsung Tunai) arranged through the regulation of the Ministry of PDTT  Number 6 Year 2020. The research methodology used the qualitative methods which produced descriptive data. The results of this study indicated the BLT policy in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic is an appropriate solution from the government to help alleviate citizen's living cost especially the burden of rural societies who are affected by COVID-19. The BLT policy in the midst of the 19th pandemic has reflected the sense of justice aspired by the law, because actually a law/regulation/policy was made to create justice for humans, and even that policy became a priority in the context of overcoming the COVID-19 pandemic.ame a priority in the context of overcoming the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

ABSTRAK: Tradisi weh-wehan masih relevan dilakukan untuk memperingati maulid Nabi Muhammad SAW di Kaliwungu, Kendal Jawa Tengah. Adat keagamaan tersebut dilaksanakan dengan membagikan makanan ataupun benda kepada para tetangga dan sanak saudara sebagai wujud rasa syukur atas nikmat Tuhan. Weh-wehan menjadi penting di masyarakat Kaliwungu karena selain sebagai implementasi wujud rasa syukur, juga sebagai sebuah identitas khas Kaliwungu yang penting untuk dilestarikan. Sayangnya masyarakat sekarang ini telah acuh dalam pelaksanaan budaya weh-wehan ini, kurangnya partisipasi anak muda menjadikan acara weh-wehan ini menjadi tidak seramai dahulu. Kurangnya partisipasi tersebut menjadi masalah yang ada di Kaliwungu. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui lebih jauh nilai yang terkandung dalam tradisi weh-wehan dan untuk mengetahui urgensi tradisi weh-wehan di Kaliwungu, Kendal. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan naratif deskriptif dalam prespektif Max Scheler, data diambil dengan teknik wawancara dan observasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa masih relevannya nilai yang digagas oleh Scheler dalam tradisi weh-wehan. Nilai kesenangan, nilai vitali, nilai kerohanian, dan nilai kesucian. Dalam tradisi weh-wehan setiap elemen yang ada di Kaliwungu turut serta dalam tradisi tersebut, sehingga menciptakan hubungan yang rukun. Adapun urgensi pelaksanaan tradisi weh-wehan antara lain: sebagai media untuk bersilahturahmi, sebagai media untuk mendekatkan diri kepada Tuhan, dan juga sebagai pemahaman makna filosofis weh-wehan.Kata Kunci: Hirarki nilai, Maulid Nabi, Berbagi makanan, Sumpil, Ketuwinan. ABSTRACT: In Kaliwungu, Kendal, Central Java, the weh-wehan ritual is still used to honor the Prophet Muhammad SAW's birthday. As a show of gratitude for God's blessings, this religious custom entails giving food or objects to neighbors and family. Weh-wehan is significant in the Kaliwungu community because, in addition to being a manifestation of gratitude, it also represents a unique Kaliwungu identity that must be preserved. Unfortunately, today's society is uninterested in implementing this weh-wehan culture, and the lack of young people's participation makes this weh-wehan event less packed than it once was. In Kaliwungu, this lack of participation is a concern. The goal of this research is to learn more about the ideals embodied in the weh-wehan tradition and to determine the importance of the tradition in Kaliwungu, Kendal. The data was gathered utilizing interview and observation techniques and a descriptive narrative approach in the perspective of Max Scheler. The findings of this study show that Scheler's values are still important in the weh-wehan tradition. The worth of pleasure, vitality, spirituality, and holiness are all important factors to consider. Every element of Kaliwungu participates in the weh-wehan tradition, which creates a harmonious interaction. In terms of the importance of adopting the weh-wehan tradition, it serves as a vehicle for friendship, among other things; as a means of becoming closer to God; as well as a philosophical understanding of the meaning of weh-wehan.Keyword: Value hierarchy, Maulid Nabi, Foods giving, Sumpil, Ketuwinan.
