Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and the tourism industry have an inseparable link because the availability of halal products or halal services is fundamental in building the halal tourism sector. Therefore, to support the development of the halal tourism sector, optimizing halal products, including MSME products, is one of the keys. This study aims to describe optimizing the role of MSMEs in supporting halal tourism in Aceh. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis with a qualitative approach. The data source used is primary data in the form of interviews with several related agencies, namely LPPOM MPU Aceh, Culture and Tourism Service, Aceh Cooperative and SME Service and MSME actors. The results of this research show that the government, through related institutions, namely LPPOM MPU, the Tourism Office and the Cooperatives and SMEs Service, has made efforts to support the development of the halal MSME sector in order to boost the halal tourism sector through the provision of facilities and various development programs that have been carried out. As for optimizing the role of MSMEs, if we look at the realization of objectives, alternative programs and resources, the role of MSMEs in supporting the halal tourism sector in its implementation is not yet optimal, even though the government itself has attempted various programs and policies to optimize the MSME sector.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of understanding products and service features on decisions Gen-Z to use BSI Mobile. Using quantitative methods with a descriptive approach, and the research sample was obtained 100 respondents using a cluster random sampling technique from Generation Z in Banda Aceh city who used BSI Mobile. Then, based on multiple linear regression analysis, the result were obtained that the variables of product understanding and service features had a positive and significant effect on the decision to use BSI Mobile.

Abstract

Pemberdayaan Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) pangan merupakan strategi penting dalam mendukung pertumbuhan ekonomi lokal di Kota Banda Aceh. Namun, rendahnya kepemilikan izin Produksi Pangan Industri Rumah Tangga (SPSPP-IRT) masih menjadi kendala utama dalam perluasan pasar produk UMKM, terutama ke pasar formal dan modern. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan kapasitas UMKM dalam memperoleh izin SPP-IRTmelalui pendampingan berbasis komunitas. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan (action research) dengan pendekatan Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA), yang melibatkan pelaku UMKM, pemerintah daerah, dan lembaga pendukung secara partisipatif. Kegiatan meliputi bimbingan teknis penyuluhan keamanan pangan, pendampingan pengurusan dokumen administratif, serta fasilitasi pendaftaran SPP-IRT melalui sistem Online Single Submission (OSS) hingga penerbitan SPSPP-IRT. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa dari sebelas UMKM yang didampingi, sebanyak delapan UMKM berhasil memperoleh sertifikat SPSPP-IRT, sementara tiga UMKM lainnya masih memerlukan pendampingan lanjutan akibat kendala administratif seperti belum memiliki NIB/NPWP, keterbatasan literasi digital dalam penggunaan sistem OSS, serta perbaikan desain label produk. Pendampingan ini terbukti mampu meningkatkan kesadaran pelaku UMKM terhadap pentingnya legalitas produk sebagai prasyarat perluasan pasar dan peningkatan daya saing usaha. Oleh karena itu, pendampingan berkelanjutan menjadi kunci dalam mendorong UMKM pangan agar mampu berkembang secara legal, aman, dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Aceh Tengah is highland that attracts many tourists from domestic or foreign countries in Aceh. Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) of the Islamic banks that plays an important role regarding the cash withdrawal process by foreign tourists in Aceh Tengah District, Aceh Province, Indonesia. The study aims to determine how BSI facilitates cash withdrawal services in Aceh Tengah. This study used a qualitative method with a descriptive field approach from foreign tourists that visiting Aceh Tengah. The results of this study indicate that there are several obstacles experienced by tourists in the cash withdrawal process, such as some of their bank cards are not supported by the available ATM (Automated Teller Machine) even through the Teller counters would have been not accessible for them. It is expected that this study will highlights the needs of upgrading system for Islamic banks that operating in Aceh Tengah for foreign tourists in using cash withdrawal services.
