Abstract

This research was funded by BOPTN funding. This research is focused on the Development of Basic Volleyball Learning Media Based on Web Learning Materials Towards KKNI at Fik Medan State University. This research is a research and development. After researching the results of volleyball basic technical skills based on learning groups, namely the posttest experimental group (new model, web learning) and the pretest experimental group (old model), it is found that the results of basic ball technical skills volleyball in the posttest experimental group ie the lowest score of 80 and the highest score of 90. Whereas in the pretest experimental group, the results of volleyball basic technique ability obtained the lowest score of 70 and the highest score of  90. The average score and standard deviation in the posttest experimental group were 82.00 and 4.14, while in the pretest experimental group amounted to 78.00 and 8.62. When viewed from the distribution of questionnaires to see new model learning is more effective than old model learning. The average effectiveness of the old model learning outcomes indicator is 86.57% and the learning model is new or uses web learning 98.77%. So it can be concluded that learning new models is more effective than learning models.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan aktivitas aerobik tunanetra melalui pengembangan alat bagi siswa SLB- A kelas V, VI, VII dan VIII Karya Murni Medan Johor. Penelitian ini menghasilkan produk pengembangan berupa prototipe modifikasi ergocycle dengan memanfaatkan sepeda bekas disesuaikan dengan kaidah yang sesungguhnya menurut para ahli, karakterstik kebutuhan tunanetra, ketersediaan sarana serta dana oleh pihak yayasan Sekolah Luar Biasa (SLB – A) Karya Murni Medan Johor juga ditinjau dari cukupnya ketersedian bahan baku pembuatan alat. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan dengan tahapan penelitian sebagai berikut: (1) potensi dan masalah, (2) pengumpulan data, (3) desain produk, (4) validitas desain, (5) revisi desain, (6) uji coba skala kecil, (7) revisi produk, (8) uji coba skala besar, (9) revisi (penyempurnaan), (10) hasil akhir prototipe modifikasi ergocycle dengan memanfaatkan sepeda bekas sebagai solusi pemenuhan kebutuhan aktivitas aerobik tunanetra. Hasil penelitian dan pembahasan mengenai kepuasan konsumen yang tertuang dalam empat aspek yaitu; 1) keamanan, 2) kenyamanan, 3) estetika dan, 4) tampilan. Keempat aspek tersebut telah disesuaikan dengan karakteristik tunanetra sebagai konsumen pengguna alat, dan merupakan hasil dari diskusi pada ahli penjas adaptif dan ahli otomotif. Setelah dilakukan uji coba produk, maka diperoleh tingkat kepuasan sebesar 55,92% dari hasil uji coba skala kecil, dan diperoleh tingkat kepuasan sebesar 92,5% dari hasil uji coba skala besar. Disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan prototipe modifikasi ergocycle dengan memanfaatkan sepeda bekas ini mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan dan dapat digunakan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan aktivitas aerobik siswa SLB - A Karya Murni Medan Johor.

Abstract

This study seeks to evaluate the impact of Android-based teaching tools on enhancing the skills of Physical Health And Recreation Education students, particularly in rhythmic activity courses for the upcoming academic year 2022/2023. This study follows the research conducted by Borg and Gall across 10 stages. The research will be conducted at the Faculty of Sports Science, Universitas Negeri Medan. This research was conducted over one semester, specifically from May to June 2023. This study focuses on students of the Physical Health And Recreation Education programme who are enrolled in a rhythmic activity gymnastics course during the fifth semester of the 2022/2023 academic year, totaling 115 students. A modest sample size of 30 students, contrasted with a more substantial sample of 50 students. Conducting data collection involves distributing questionnaires to small samples, large samples, and comparison samples, as well as consulting material experts and learning media experts. Based on the statistical analysis, the trial using an android-based media for rhythmic gymnastics demonstrated a significant improvement in students' competence, with a p-value of 0.000. Graduation competencies in rhythmic gymnastics for students, particularly the fundamental movements they possess prior to utilising an android-based rhythmic gymnastics learning tool, demonstrate a notable improvement. Lecturers are adept at utilising teaching media to enhance learning.

Abstract

The objective of this study was to create a novel educational tool in the shape of an Android app for teaching floor gymnastics using blended learning. The research methodology employed is RD research, consisting of 10 stages: (1) Preliminary study, (2) Research planning, (3) Initial product development, (4) Initial (limited) field trials, (5) Revision of limited field test results, (6) Expanded field tests, (7) Revision of field test results, (8) Due diligence, (9) Revision of due diligence results, (10) Dissemination and distribution of the final product. The study was carried out in the Faculty of Sports Science, Medan State University. The research samples included language specialists, media experts, learning experts, and students from both small and big sample sizes. For a sample size of 20 students and a sample size of 75 students. The research utilised expert observation, interviews, and documentation as instruments. The development research utilised t-test analysis for data analysis. This study employs a qualitative technique. The research findings by language experts indicate that the language utilised in the media is highly suitable, achieving a total score of 81% with revisions. According to the first and second media experts, the media used received a total score of 83%, placing it in a highly suitable category for revision. Subsequent media specialists, the media chosen is suitable, receiving a total score of 90% in the highly feasible category. The learning method employed received a total score of 81% from the first and second experts, placing it in the extremely practicable category for modification. Secondary education specialist. The learning utilised a total score of 90% inside a highly achievable category. The small sample achieved a cumulative score of 79% in the relevant area through revision. Extensive samples achieve a 90% rating in the highly usable category. The study's conclusion is that the learning media utilised are highly practical. The results suggest that the learning materials used in this study are very effective and appropriate for their intended purpose. The findings indicate that the chosen learning techniques and resources are appropriate for attaining the intended learning goals.

Abstract

The selection of appropriate learning media is proven to have a positive impact on students' knowledge and abilities in the learning process. They were referring to material in learning carried out by sports students as one of the preparations for teachers who must understand refereeing regulations so that the entire learning process can really utilize learning media. This study aims to determine the effect of the application of learning media on remembering the knowledge and ability of volleyball referees. The research method used in this study is quasi-experiment with a pretest and posttest quasi-experimental control group research design. This study involved 30 volleyball referee students who were obtained using cluster random sampling. This research instrument is an instrument that uses a questionnaire on the level of knowledge and ability of volleyball referees, divided into 10 indicators. This questionnaire obtained a reliability of 0.826. The analysis of this data used prerequisite tests (normality test using the Kolmogorov Smirnov test, homogeneity test using the Levin statistical test), and a t-test conducted with the help of SPSS 25 to test the effect on each subject. The results showed that the average score of the experimental volleyball referee group was 216.93 ± 7.75, while the average score of the control volleyball referee knowledge and ability level group was 189.47 ± 7.18, the experimental group was better than the control group.
