Abstract

The study aims to create a softball throw and catch learning model for high school students. Based on the findings of observations and interviews, it is possible to conclude that students struggle with throwing and catching techniques on softball material. Physical education teachers face a challenge in providing appropriate learning methods due to a lack of variety in applying the learning model. The research and development (R D) method was used in this study, with six stages of development. The following data analysis techniques were used in this study: This study employs both quantitative and qualitative descriptive data analysis. Based on the findings of this study, ten throwing and catching learning models with various variations have been developed. The effectiveness test was performed with the T-test to determine the effectiveness of the developed product. The t-test value, tcount = 31,647, was then obtained. The value of ttable obtained with confidence level = 0.05, dk = (n-1) = 30 – 1 = 30 was 2.1098. As a result, tcount exceeds ttable (tcount = 31,647 ttable = 2,093). Based on the test criteria of tcount ttable at =0.05 dk = 17, the developed model is very effective for use, particularly at the high school level.

Abstract

“Training” dalam keolahragaan dapat diartikan sebagai upaya penyiapan atlet agar memiliki keterampilan dan kemampuan (performance) yang lebih tinggi. Training merupakan salah satu bagian yang dapat membentuk kepribadian seseorang. Tidak jarang, kepribadian atlet sangat dipengaruhi oleh kondisi lingkungan yang tercipta saat pelaksanaan training. Seperti halnya di Indonesia, sebelum bertanding dalam olahraga kompetitif, atlet sering diberi suatu program latihan dalam jangka waktu tertentu, untuk itu, biasanya mereka dikumpulkan pada suatu tempat agar proses latihan berjalan dengan lancar. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi performan individual oleh Hare (1982), dibagi menjadi lima bagian yaitu; personality, physical condition, technique and co-ordination, tactical ability, dan mental preparation. Untuk mengembangkan dan meningkatkan performan atlet dengan hasil yang lebih lebih maksimal perlu dipertimbangkan beberapa hal; antara lain The Principle Of Individual Differences, The Principle of Overload, The Principle of Progression, The Principle of Adaptation, The Principle of Use/Disuse, The Principle of Specificity (Quinn, 2006). Exercise adalah aktifitas fisik yang dilakukan seseorang untuk meningkatkan atau menjaga kebugaran tubuhnya (physical fitness). Sedangkan physical exercise adalah aktivitas fisik yang dilakukan untuk mengembangkan dan menjaga kebugaran fisik (physical fitness) dan kesehatan tubuh secara keseluruhan (Webster, 2006).

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to reveal the self-efficacy of North Maluku athlete students at the National Student Sports Week (POMNAS) 2019 in DKI Jakarta. So far, there have been many quantitative research publications on self-efficacy, but the results obtained have not explored the psychological dynamics of athletes more deeply. Through this study, researchers found new more in-depth facts related to athletes' self-efficacy. This study uses a qualitative approach. Data collection is done when the athletes have finished competing, with the hope that the data obtained is more accurate because they are still in competition atmosphere. The subjects in this study were North Maluku athlete students who participated in the 2019 POMNAS activities in DKI Jakarta. The results of this study indicate that North Maluku Athlete students have high self-efficacy, this is indicated by the athletes knowing the level of each series of training programs undertaken, being able to complete a series of given training programs, and having the ability to complete the entire series of training programs.

Abstract

Obesity is an body fat increase. Overweight is a relative body weight increase when compared to the standard. Overweight then became a term that represented "obesity" both clinically and epidemiologically. Flexibility is the effectiveness of a person in adjusting himself to all activities with stretching the body in a wide area of the joint. The design used in this study is a 2x2 factorial. It is explained about factorial experiments that what is measured is not only the influence of the main factor of each independent variable on the dependent variable, but also the influence of the interaction between the independent variables. The population in this study is the 50 members of Larasati gymnastics in Semarang, who in productive age women between 30-40 years.The number of samples is quite representative (representing) for the large population in this study. The sampling technique in this study was using purposive sampling, which is a sampling technique determined by giving equal opportunity to each member of the population as a sample, namely the number is adjusted to the member of the subject in each group, the experimental group of obesity type pear and apple type obesity control group. Based on the results of the research achieved, it turns out that women who have high flexibility have a large reduction in fat if they have the apple type of obesity. Women who have high flexibility with apple obesity type have a better decrease in body fat than women with low flexibility and have pear obesity type. Fcount = 6.962> Ftable = 3.11. The effectiveness that is applied to reduce body fat is influenced by the type of high flexibility and type of low flexibility of those women.

Abstract

Diabetes Militus adalah suatu penyakit metabolik dengan kadar gula di darah yang berlebih yang disebabkan oleh kerusakan (defek) pada pengeluaran hormon insulin, defek pada kerja insulin atau dua-duanya. Kadar gula berlebih yang kronis ini akan menyebabkan kerusakaan jangka-panjang, hilangnya fungsi bahkan gagalnya berbagai macam organ terutama mata, syaraf, ginjal, pembuluh darah koroner jantung dan banyak lagi. Pada prinsipnya, olahraga bagi penderita diabetes tidak berbeda dengan orang sehat, juga antara penderita baru ataupun lama. Olahraga ini terutama untuk membakar kalori tubuh, sehingga glukosa darah bisa terpakai untuk energi.  Dengan demikian kadar gula bisa turun. Penderita diabetes yang telah lama dikhawatirkan bisa mengalami arterosklerosis (penyempitan pembuluh darah). Namun, dengan berolahraga timbunan kolesterol di pembuluh darah akan berkurang, sehingga risiko terkena penyakit jantung juga menurun.

Abstract

Bermain, rasa ingin tahu, rasa ingin diakui oleh teman sebaya merupakan sifat alami anak sekolah dasar awal. Melalui permainan diharapkan semua pembentukan aspek kecerdasan pada anak dapat dilakukan. Kecerdasan anak yang dapat dibentuk melalui pendidikan jasmani.Bentuk pengajaran melalui pendekatan permainan merupakan pendekatan terbaik, maka yang menjadi kunci keberhasilan dalam penerapan model ini adalah kesiapan guru pendidikan jasmani sekolah dasar itu sendiri. Kreativitas dalam merancang bentuk-bentuk permainan dan sasaran dalam pengajaran sangat diperlukan bahkan sentuhan senipun dapat dimasukkan sehingga tujuan pendidikan jasmani pada umumnya dapat tercapai.

Abstract

Fisik merupakan sarana untuk melakukan aktivitas di dalamnya terjadi proses biologis dan proses psikologis yang menghasilkan atau menimbulkan aktivitas berupa gerakan tubuh, pemikiran emosi dan perasaan serta berkomonikasi dengan sesama manusia. Penurunan kapasitas fungsi organ-organ tubuh manusia terutama sekali disebabkan oleh menurunnya daya tahan kardiorespirasi sebagai akibat menurunnya fungsi jantung dan paru-paru yang merupakan organ vital untuk menggerakkan seluruh system yang terdapat dalam tubuh manusia. Penurunan ini terjadi sejalan dengan pertambahan usia setelah mencapai puncak yaitu kira-kira umur 20 – 30 tahun. Kemajuan teknologi juga merupakan faktor yang dapat mempercepat terjadinya proses penurunan kapasitas kardiorespirasi. Mengetahui dasar-dasar menurunnya kapasitas fungsi organ-organ dari segi biologis, maka kita akan dapat menyiapkan diri masing-masing dengan melakukan olahraga yang teratur sesuai dengan takaran, sehingga proses tersebut dapat dikurangi semaksimal mungkin agar tetap segar, sehat dan luwes dalam penampilan.

Abstract

This study aimed to discover the effect of the learning method and learning motivation on the improvement of throwing and catching the ball for elementary school students. The study samples were 60 elementary school students acquired using the treatment by level 2x2 study design with the tukey test using a =0.05 level. The study results show 1) groups A1 and A2 obtained Fh Ft, i.e., 17.9 4.15; therefore, there is an effect between group learning method and individual learning method on ball throw-catch skills, with Qh = 8.54 dan Qt = 3.83. 2) Then, it obtained FhF1, i.e., 26.61 4.15; therefore, it concludes that the ball throw-catch skill learning outcome. 3) The tukey test on groups A1B1 and A2B1 obtained Qh = 18.95 and Qt = 2.99, in which the results conclude that ball throw-catch skill learning outcome with high motoric taught using the group learning method is better than the individual learning method. 4) Qh = 1.84 and Qt = 2.99, concluding that ball throw-catch skill learning outcome with low motoric taught using the individual learning method is better than the group learning method.

Abstract

This study aims to test the effectiveness of application-based learning media in improving basic table tennis technical skills. The sample in this study involved students consisting of two groups, namely the experimental group of 15 people and the control group of 15 people. The research was carried out online, and this was because it was still in an emergency due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used in this study is an experimental method to see the difference in skill levels of the two research groups. The data collection technique used is performance tests. Then the data were analyzed by calculating the percentage. The results of data analysis obtained through skill performance tests show that the level of basic table tennis technical skills in the experimental group and the control group both have good results. However, looking at the comparison of the percentage levels obtained by the two groups, it can be seen that the experimental group has a higher skill level percentage than the control group. An experimental group is a group whose learning activities use application-based learning media. Based on the research results above, it can be concluded that online learning using application-based media can improve students’ understanding and skills in basic table tennis technical material.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the validity of thematic-based PJOK modules for grade IV elementary schools in odd semesters. The research used is the development (Research & Development), Borg and Gall. The research subjects were 18 PJOK teachers from three sub-districts in Medan City, namely (Medan Johor, Medan Selayang, and Medan Deli), as well as 3 expert validators.A questionnaire is used to collect information. The module category was found to be very practical to use, with an average score of 95% based on the results of the three expert validations. The first PJOK teacher validated the results with an average score of 94 percent. and the average score on the wider cohort test is 92 percent. and operational field trials yielded results with an average score of 92 percent. From the three seasoned professionals (PJOK teachers) an average score of 92.6% was obtained, with a very decent category. This shows that the thematic-based PJOK module is valid for use by teachers in PJOK learning for grade IV elementary schools.
