Abstract

Non-governmental group enterprises amounting to 152 business actors under the Medan Pemko building, and still need to increase the competitiveness of product quality caused by SMES have not had a high commitment in improving the business that must compete with the product A kind and low commitment business people to business in the building from scratch by not replacing the original product that they managed to have the competitiveness of the target company BDC. Which is the direction of this study to know the competitiveness of SME products with the method of survey and direct observation of SMES in the city of Medan consist of 21 districts and what factors cause the ability to compete low SME actors in the city of Medan By linking to SMB capability variables and commitment to its business. Analysis of the techniques used by using some linear regression analysis result test results obtained. Ability to influence but if the SME's commitment is improved, it will make the competitiveness of SMES competing with other similar businesses can increase.

Abstract

This paper is based on the research regarding incentive and self-quality development of employees at PDAM Tirtasari Binjai. Both incentive and self-quality development is an important aspect to enhance the employees’ performance. Therefore, this research was conducted to know further more on how the incentive and self quality effect to the employees’s performance.The population of the research was all employees of the PDAM Tirtasari Binjai, and the number of them was 112 people. Random sampling technique was used to decide 88 employees as sample of the research. The questionnary and interview were used as instruments for data collection. The data that gained from the questionannary was processed through statistical approach and it would be cross-checked later with the data that obtained from interview. In this sense, the data from interview stands as complement and to support the statistical analysis. The result of the research indicated that the incentives (X1) had a significant impact to the employee’s performance (Y) as well as the self-quality development (X2) which wasa significant impact to the employees’ performance (Y).

Abstract

The formulation of the problem in the study is whether the influence of job satisfaction on employee performance, whether the influence of work discipline on employee performance, whether the influence of job satisfaction and work discipline on employee performance at the Customs and Excise Supervision and Service Office TMP Belawan, this study aims to determine and analyze the influence of job satisfaction on employee performance, to determine and analyze the influence of work discipline on employee performance, to determine and analyze the influence of job satisfaction and work discipline on employee performance at the Customs and Excise Supervision and Service Office TMP Belawan. The methods used in this study are validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, linear regression, and hypothesis test. Data were measured or processed using SPSS, with samples using questionnaires distributed to 72 employees at the Customs and Excise Supervision and Service Office TMP Belawan. The results of this study indicate that the job satisfaction variable has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The work discipline variable has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The job satisfaction and work discipline variables have a positive and significant effect on employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether job training and human resource development (HRD) have an impact on employee performance at the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of North Labuhan Batu Regency. This study uses primary data by distributing questionnaires to all employees. The sampling technique uses the SPSS program. The population used is 66 respondents where the entire population is sampled. The techniques used in this study use data quality tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear analysis tests and hypothesis tests. The results obtained are job training has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of North Labuhan Batu Regency and Human resource development (HRD) has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of North Labuhan Batu Regency, as well as job training and human resource development (HRD) simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of North Labuhan Batu Regency.
