Abstract

Family Income Improvement Efforts of family welfare (UP2K-PKK) program aims to reduce woman poverty by developing family business activities through MSMEs. UP2K-PKK cadres feel they do not have the knowledge and skills to increase community entrepreneurship. This research aims to find the knowledge and skills of fostering community entrepreneurship as the basis for planning the training program to improve knowledge and skills for UP2K-PKK Cadres. The method used in this study is mixed methods research. Determination of training needs had done with Training Needs Analysis. The study respondents were all UP2K-PKK Cadres companion MSMEs in Cipayung East Jakarta.The results concluded that UP2K-PKK Cadres need knowledge related to soft skills, namely techniques to motivate people to join the UP2K program, knowledge related to hard skills, namely; 1) managing finances, 2) Marketing techniques, and 3) techniques for identifying the learning needs of UP2K partners. Amid busyness as a housewife, UP2K-PKK Cadres has the willingness to improve their capacity building. Cadres should have the ability to direct the MSMEs to adapt and increasingly modern marketing ways so as not to be left behind and lose the opportunity to get the market.

Abstract

The family is the first and foremost place of learning for children. Parents must be able to adjust and challenges to educate their childern to faced life in the future. Implemented education by parents builds children's readiness to adapt and learn new things, also have an impact on overall children's intelligence and emotional development. This study aims to obtain information about the types of parenting learning needs that are suitable for parents who have children’s, especially those who live along the Sukamakmur District, Bogor Regency, West Java. Researchers used a qualitative descriptive approach. The subjects of this study are elderly people with a vulnerable age of 17 to 60 years, the number of samples to be studied is 397 people. The results showed that the learning needs of parenting people are ways to overcome the problem of eating in infants, foster independence in children, overcome conflicts between children, teach worship, handle children entering  puberty, how to limit children from gadgets / cellphones, controlling while parents far away (LDR), the most pleasing thing about caregiving is when the child is active, the thing that most parents worry about is health problems and fall into negative society.

Abstract

Abstract The emergence of Covid-19 to date, threatens human life in all fields including education. The purpose of this community service is to provide knowledge, attitudes and skills on how to manage online in Homeschooling Talenta to be interactive, meaningful and fun as an effort to optimize the learning process during the Covid 19 pandemic. This community service method is the online service learning method. Results and discussion. In order for online learning to be effective, teachers can refer to the following info (1). Strengthen the interaction between students and teachers (2). Plan several “interactive quizzes” that can be answered in real-time (3) Make use of the interactions between students namely (4) Invite students to participate. (5). Focus on content (6), Keep it simple (7). Link new content to old and provide examples. (8), Share new information in no time. (9.). Make online learning as interactive as possible. (10) Balance synchronous and asynchronous learning Conclusion In order for online learning to be effective in Talenta Homeschooling, namely facilitating interactions between students and teachers, there must also be an 'interactive quiz' that can be answered real-time. must take advantage of interaction, Share new information in no time. make online learning as interactive as possible and balance synchronous and asynchronous learning. Abstrak Kemunculan Covid-19 sampai dengan saat ini, mengancam kehidupan manusia di segala bidang termasuk pendidikan. Tujuan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberikan pengetahuan, sikap dan keterampilan bagaimana mengelola daring di Homeschooling Talenta agar interaktif, bermakna dan menyenangkan sebagai upaya optimalisasi proses pembelajaran masa pandemi covid 19. Metode pengabdian pada masyarakat ini adalah metode online service learning. Hasil dan pembahasan. Agar pembelajaran daring menjadi efektif, guru dapat mengacu pada info berikut ini (1). Menguatkan interaksi antara murid dan guru (2). Rencanakan beberapa ‘kuis interaktif’ yang dapat dijawab secara real-time(3) Memanfaatkan interaksi antar siswa yaitu (4) Ajak siswa untuk berpartisipasi. (5). Fokus pada konten (6), Tetap sederhana.(7). Hubungkan konten baru ke yang lama dan berikan contoh. (8), Bagikan informasi baru dalam waktu singkat. (9.). Jadikan pembelajaran online seinteraktif mungkin.(10). Seimbangkan pembelajaran sinkron dan asinkron. Kesimpulan Agar pembelajaran daring menjadi efektif di Homeschooling Talenta yaitu Pendamping menguatkan interaksi antara murid dan guru, juga harus ada ‘kuis interaktif’ yang dapat dijawab real-time. Selain itu harus memanfaatkan interaksi, bagikan informasi baru dalam waktu singkat. jadikan pembelajaran online seinteraktif mungkin dan seimbangkan pembelajaran sinkron dan asinkron.

Abstract

Life in the 21st century demands literacy skills. The ability to understand a concept and understand the process is very useful in order to solve problems faced in the daily life of learning residents. Science literacy is useful if in the process it is equipped with a high level of thinking skills in order to develop the potential possessed to find solutions or new ideas in conditions of always living situations. This study aims to see the science literacy ability of hots-based adolescents (Higher Order Thinking Skill) in learning activities for coffee plant cultivation in remote communities in West Java. Learning is carried out outside the classroom with an Education training plus approach. The ability to think of adolescents indicates the ability of scientific literacy in identifying, making decisions, and concluding related to the cultivation of coffee plants in their village environment. The results showed that the science literacy ability of HOTS-based adolescents is still at a low level, adolescents are at the conceptual knowledge level, while their thinking ability is still in analytical skills. The thinking ability of adolescents is closely related to aspects of scientific literacy that are understood to be related to the concept of coffee plant cultivation that is commonly found in the daily life of teenagers around coffee plantations. Research findings in the field found that learning residents have not actively sought sources of information for ideas in broad media, learning resources and activities. Youth should develop a positive attitude towards science learning in order to improve science literacy and build a high level of thinking skills. The ability to think analytically, assess and create adolescents can be improved by diligently reading, doing Journaling, asking a lot of questions or with useful games.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a conceptual digital literacy learning for adolescents in remote communities; Designing digital literacy learning activities for youth in remote communities; and knowing the evaluation of digital literacy learning This research procedure was carried out by adapting the ILDF (Integrated Learning Design Framework) development procedure model. This model consists of three stages, namely Explorating, Enactment and Evaluation. This research was conducted in Pabuaran Village, Sukamakmur District, Bogor Regency.for adolescents in remote communities.The step of the development model begins with exploring, at this stage the developer identifies the need for distance learning due to the large number of trainees who experience difficulties in participating in learning activities in face-to-face, especially for teenagers who live in remote areas, the selection of the Moodle platform, this is because Moodle has an application in the form of Moodle Mobile which can be accessed via android phone. In the Enactment stage, at this stage the developer begins to design disaster literacy learning using the Mobile Modeling Model, compile prototypes and develop the learning in detail. The last stage is Evaluation, Testing material experts and media experts. Material experts give the results of the percentage of the feasibility of learning materials of 93.75%. Media testing gives the results of the feasibility percentage of 79.9%. The test on the small group test of the trainees got a result of 86.97% which means it is very feasible to use. This study provides suggestions that facilities and infrastructure must be available properly. The required facilities such as an adequate and stable internet network and an android phone with a minimum android version of Lollipop that must be owned by all disaster literacy training participants.
