Abstract

ABSTRAK: Penelitian ini bertujuan untukmemberikan pengetahuan dan pemahaman melalui Pelatihan pengolahan sampah dalam meningkatkan life skill pada komunitas pedagang rujak buah di RT.013/RW.003 Kelurahan Klender. Pada penelitian ini diperoleh masalah bahwa komunitas pedagang rujak buah di RT 013 RW 03 Klender belum memiliki life skill bagaimana cara mengolah sampah. Sehingga diperlukan upaya berupa pelatihan pengolahan sampah untuk dapat meningkatkan life skill pada komunitas pedagang rujak buah tersebut. Dari penelitian ditarik kesimpulan bahwa pedagang rujak buah mempunyai life skill pengolahan sampah untuk menangani masalah sampah, sehingga tidak banyak sampah lagi yang diproduksi di lingkungan RT 013 RW 003, dengan demikian, maka tidak akan timbul permasalahan yang berkaitan dengan sampah. Adapun hasil pelatihan berupa produk kompos cair dan komposter yang dipakai oleh peserta untuk penghijauan.

Abstract

Every adolescent in Equivalency Programs is unique, affected by interrelated factors of exclusion, such as school exclusion, family situation, poverty, social status and gender bias, and geographical location. Hence, Indonesia Equivalency Programs can target these particular groups to create responsible future citizens and develop human capabilities. This paper aims to explore the features of institutional culture of High School Equivalency Programs that impact on student’s character and learning performance. Ethnography study has been conducted in five nonformal schools in Banten Province that involved twenty five students in individual interviews. The results show that institutional culture of High School Equivalency Programs provides an opportunity for adolescent who engage in learning to transform their personal character to become more resilient, autonomous, sensing a positive identity and moral integrity. Conducive school culture build a positive image and sense of belonging of students in Equivalency Programs. In long term, this character will diminish destructive behaviour of young people and create active citizents. The positive impacts of institutional culture of High School Equivalency Programs on adolescent could potentially lead to higher social productivity and thus create greater economic growth.

Abstract

The facilitation and management of changes can support the success of community empowerment. In the process, appropriate facilitation and management of changes in teaching materials are needed. This study aims to construct the teaching materials for facilitation strategies and management of changes by Indonesian society's socio-cultural characteristics. The research and development method was carried out using the Borg and Gall model to achieve this goal. The result shows that the teaching material needed in the facilitation strategy and management of changes includes three aspects: knowledge, skills, and attitudes. Overall, facilitators know empowerment facilitation but still feel they lack facilitation skills in practices. The personal communication skills most needed are probing and paraphrasing. The collaboration skills most wanted to improve in the community group are building group dynamics and teamwork, building belief and confidence, encouraging full participation, supporting conflict resolution, encouraging inclusive solutions, giving and receiving feedback, encouraging mutual understanding, and monitoring the role and group level. The most preferred attitudes for a community empowerment facilitator are unconditional trust in group abilities, building empathy, building interest in others, and an unconditional positive outlook. According to the audience, suitable teaching materials use easy-to-understand language, illustrated pictures or videos that work well, and include real examples in the field. Teaching materials must be designed to be attractive and user-friendly. In this case, it can be done in further research.

Abstract

Garbage is a big problem nowadays, youth organizations and innovation. A waste bank is a good combination if it has collaborated. This study aims to build public environmental awareness using a walking waste bank. This study uses a qualitative approach by applying the Participation Action Research (PAR) method. This research means that a result of research that has been carried out in a participatory manner is then applied into action. The results showed that, in field research in participating in youth organization socialization to the community, the mechanism for youth socialization by visiting the community could change people's attitudes to become more disciplined and willing to participate in the waste bank program to create a clean and healthy environment. Thus, the youth empowerment program to improve skills and knowledge in conducting educational outreach to the community is suitable for youth members.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of learning interest and Emotional Intelligence on the mathematics learning outcomes of fifth grade elementary school students in the Dewi Sartika cluster North Jakarta. The definition of learning outcomes in this study is the acquisition of the student’s learning process in accordance with the objectives of teaching mathematics, especially on the material of blocks and cubes in the cognitive domain. Learning interest refers to the feeling of preferring one thing over another, participating and being active in teaching and learning activities, being enthusiastic, liking, interested, and paying attention during the mathematics learning process. Emotional Intelligence or EQ is a series of personal abilities in students to control their emotions and recognize their feelings as well as the feelings of other individuals. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The researcher took samples using the Non Probability Sampling technique with the type of Purposive Sampling. The sample of this research is 140 students of the fifth graders. The instruments used are questionnaire and test. Data analysis used in this study is multiple linear regression. The results showed that (1) Interest in learning had a significant influence on the mathematics learning outcomes of fifth grade elementary school students in the Dewi Sartika cluster North Jakarta. The results showed that learning interest contributed 18,2533% to student’s mathematics learning outcomes. (2) Emotional intelligence had a significant influence on the mathematics learning outcomes of fifth grade elementary school students in the Dewi Sartika cluster North Jakarta. The results showed that emotional intelligence contributed 54,7867% to student’s mathematics learning outcomes, (3) Learning interest and emotional intelligence had a significant influence on mathematics learning outcomes of fifth grade elementary school students in the Dewi Sartika cluster North Jakarta. The results showed that learning interest and emotional intelligence contributed 73,04% to student’s mathematics learning outcomes. Students who have a learning interest and high emotional intelligence will improve their mathematics learning outcomes and vice versa. Meanwhile, 26,96% of mathematics learning outcomes are influenced by other factors such as intellectual intelligence, learning media, teaching aids, learning models, facilities, parental support and so on. The results of this study can be used as a reference for parents, teachers, and schools who want to get maximum student learning outcomes in mathematics.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the skills of andragogy and interpersonal communication tutor at BLK DKI Jakarta. The research method uses correlational and associative quantitative research. The research was conducted at BLK DKI Jakarta by sampling as much as 120 purposive from a total of 170 tutors scattered in BLK DKI Jakarta. Data retrieval by developing instruments using questionnaires. Data analysis using multiple regression analysis with the multivariate test. The results showed that first there was a significant influence between andragogy competence of tutoring ability of the tutor, both there is an influence between interpersonal communication to the management skills of the tutor as well as third Simultaneous influence between Andragogical's compliance and interpersonal communication on the managerial skills of tutors at BLK DKI Jakarta.   The implications of this research is an attempt to improve the managerial skills and competence of tutors can be done through improved andragogy competence and interpersonal communication.

Abstract

Abstract The emergence of Covid-19 to date, threatens human life in all fields including education. The purpose of this community service is to provide knowledge, attitudes and skills on how to manage online in Homeschooling Talenta to be interactive, meaningful and fun as an effort to optimize the learning process during the Covid 19 pandemic. This community service method is the online service learning method. Results and discussion. In order for online learning to be effective, teachers can refer to the following info (1). Strengthen the interaction between students and teachers (2). Plan several “interactive quizzes” that can be answered in real-time (3) Make use of the interactions between students namely (4) Invite students to participate. (5). Focus on content (6), Keep it simple (7). Link new content to old and provide examples. (8), Share new information in no time. (9.). Make online learning as interactive as possible. (10) Balance synchronous and asynchronous learning Conclusion In order for online learning to be effective in Talenta Homeschooling, namely facilitating interactions between students and teachers, there must also be an 'interactive quiz' that can be answered real-time. must take advantage of interaction, Share new information in no time. make online learning as interactive as possible and balance synchronous and asynchronous learning. Abstrak Kemunculan Covid-19 sampai dengan saat ini, mengancam kehidupan manusia di segala bidang termasuk pendidikan. Tujuan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberikan pengetahuan, sikap dan keterampilan bagaimana mengelola daring di Homeschooling Talenta agar interaktif, bermakna dan menyenangkan sebagai upaya optimalisasi proses pembelajaran masa pandemi covid 19. Metode pengabdian pada masyarakat ini adalah metode online service learning. Hasil dan pembahasan. Agar pembelajaran daring menjadi efektif, guru dapat mengacu pada info berikut ini (1). Menguatkan interaksi antara murid dan guru (2). Rencanakan beberapa ‘kuis interaktif’ yang dapat dijawab secara real-time(3) Memanfaatkan interaksi antar siswa yaitu (4) Ajak siswa untuk berpartisipasi. (5). Fokus pada konten (6), Tetap sederhana.(7). Hubungkan konten baru ke yang lama dan berikan contoh. (8), Bagikan informasi baru dalam waktu singkat. (9.). Jadikan pembelajaran online seinteraktif mungkin.(10). Seimbangkan pembelajaran sinkron dan asinkron. Kesimpulan Agar pembelajaran daring menjadi efektif di Homeschooling Talenta yaitu Pendamping menguatkan interaksi antara murid dan guru, juga harus ada ‘kuis interaktif’ yang dapat dijawab real-time. Selain itu harus memanfaatkan interaksi, bagikan informasi baru dalam waktu singkat. jadikan pembelajaran online seinteraktif mungkin dan seimbangkan pembelajaran sinkron dan asinkron.

Abstract

Saat ini pembangunan masyarakat desa memiliki perubahan paradigma mendasar, yaitu dari membangun desa menjadi desa membangun. Untuk mewujudkan desa membangun diperlukan peningkatan kapasitas sumber daya insani desa yaitu untuk menstimulan wirausaha masyarakat desa dibidang pertanian. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan dalam rangka mencapai transformasi desa membangun yaitu melalui motivasi wirausaha para petani di pedesaan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan transformative learning dengan metode sharing knowledge berupa diskusi dan pendampingan secara berkelanjutan. Pada kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyrakat yang dilakukan di desa Sirnajaya menghasilkan perubahan perilaku masyarakat petani, yang semula para petani hanya berorientasi menjadi buruh tani, saat ini para petani memiliki motivasi untuk bertansformasi menjadi pengusaha dibidang pertanian. Motivasi wirausaha kepada para petani dilakukan dengan memanfaatkan kelembagaan pedesaaan seperti BumDes dalam menyediakan dan memfasilitasi para petani untuk menjalankan wirausaha dan menjual produk pertaniannya. Melalui pola kemitraan dengan BumDes para petani menjadi lebih percaya diri untuk menjadi wirausaha dibidang pertanian dibandingkan menjadi buruh tani.Transformasi yang dimaksud dalam rangka mencapai keberdayaan masyarakat yang memiliki daya saing, daya saring dan daya adaptasi. Melalui kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini, memberikan sumbangsih dalam pemberdayaan ekonomi masyarakat desa. Sehingga melalui kegiatan ini, tindak lanjut berikutnya ialah mengembangkan usaha pertanian kreatif dan innovatif untuk menghasilkan produk pertanian yang sesuai dengan permintaan pasar.

Abstract

This project is the service roadmap application that has been prepared according to the condition of the laboratory village of the Community Education, Faculty of Education. This project was planned to be implemented for 3 years. The first year of the project was focused on the lesson materials for developing the production capacity of “Rawagede” Educational Tourism Village Merchandise through HyFlex Learning. The second year was focused on building a sustainable group business, that focused on business partnership networks. The third year was focused on the impact after implemented,and concern of sustainable Merchandise business assistance. This service project is motivated by the local potential of Sirna Jaya village, and might become a resource to develop human and social capital for its local community. Tourism products are the part of Sapta Pesona application that relate to memories and it applicated through souvenirs. the souvenir would be able become tangible memories for the tourists. HyFlex's provides a flexibility for blended learning, this learning method provides an opportunity for learners to choose whether to attend online, offline or both. The outcomes of the project are the exposure of article in national journal, videos on Youtube channels and booklets that able to be copyrighted. Abstrak Pengabdian ini merupakan bentuk penerapan dari roadmap pengabdian yang telah disusun berdasarkan keadaan desa binaan yang dilakukan oleh prodi Pendidikan Masyarakat Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan. Roadmap kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan selama 3 tahun. Tahun pertama melakukan kegiatan pengabdian dengan materi Pengembangan Kapasitas Produksi Merchandise Desa Wisata Edukasi “Rawagede” berbasis Pembelajaran HyFlex. Tahun kedua membangun usaha kelompok yang berkelanjutan, materi kegiatan pengabdian berfokus pada jejaring kemitraan usaha. Tahun ketiga berfokus untuk melihat dampak setelah adanya Pengembangan Kapasitas Produksi Merchandise Desa Wisata Edukasi “Rawagede” berbasis Pembelajaran HyFlex, materi yang diberikan adalah pendampingan usaha Merchandise berkelanjutan. Pengabdian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh potensi Desa wisata Sirna Jaya sebagai aset mengembangkan human capital dan social capital masyarakat. Melalui desa wisata, banyak masyarakat terlibat dalam bersinergis mengembangkan desa wisata. Produk wisata merupakan bagian dari penerapan sapta pesona yang berwujud kenangan, kenangan tersebut diwujudkan dalam bentuk cinderamata. Harapannya cinderamata mampu menjadi kenangan yang berwujud bagi wisatawan yang berkunjung. Kegiatan pembelajaran HyFlex sendiri memberikan level flexibilitas baru untuk blended learning, metode pembelajaran ini memberikan kesempatan bagi warga belajar untuk memilih apakah akan menghadiri pembelajaran secara daring, luring atau keduanya. Luaran pengabdian berbentuk publikasi artikel pada jurnal nasional, video kegiatan pada kanal Youtube dan booklet kegiatan yang dapat di hak patenkan.

Abstract

Abstract Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) is one type of business that is a reliable driver of the economy,therefore its existence is very taken into account. However, UMKM in Pasirkaliki Village are still not optimalin financial management and marketing. Thus, this community service has the aim of providing informationand knowledge to local UMKM about financial management, product or service marketing, and innovation inproduct or service development. This community service was carried out in Pasirkaliki Village, RawamertaDistrict, Karawang on September 29, 2022. The methods used were lectures, discussions, questions and answersusing Flip Charts, slides, and pictures. In the socialization, the resource persons conveyed detailed andsystematic information, and the participants actively asked questions. The results of community activities haveknowledge about UMKM, especially about financial management, product or service marketing, and innovationin product or service development for Karang Taruna youth. So, the problems that exist in UMKM actors,namely the lack of understanding of UMKM strategies and financial management can be overcome properly.The conclusion of this activity is that there is an increase in information about UMKM in Karangtaruna youthof Pasirkaliki Village as an effort to be able to start businesses and be able to absorb labor and reduce Abstrak Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) merupakan salah satu jenis usaha yang menjadi penggerakperekonomian yang handal karena itu keberadaannya sangat diperhitungkan. Namun, UMKM di DesaPasirkaliki masih belum optimal dalam pengelolaan keuangan dan pemasaran. Sehingga, pengabdian kepadamasyarakat ini memiliki tujuan untuk memberikan informasi dan pengetahuan terhadap UMKM setempattentang pengelolaan keuangan, pemasaran produk atau jasa, dan inovasi dalam pengembangan produk ataujasa. Pengabdian pada masyarakart ini telah dilakukan di Desa Pasirkaliki Kecamatan Rawamerta Karawangpada tanggal 29 September 2022. Metode yang digunakan adalah ceramah, diskusi, tanya jawab dengan mediaFlip Chart, slide, dan gambar. Dalam sosialisasi narasumber menyanpaikan informasi dengan rinci dansistimatis, dan peserta aktif melakukan tanya jawab. Hasil kegiatan masyarakat memiliki pengetahuan tentangUMKM khususnya tentang pengelolaan keuangan, pemasaran produk atau jasa, dan inovasi dalampengembangan produk atau jasa pada pemuda karangtaruna. Maka, masalah yang ada pada pelaku UMKMyaitu kurangnya pemahaman strategi UMKM dan pengelolaan keuangannya dapat diatasi dengan baik.Kesimpulan kegiatan ini yaitu terdapat peningkatan informasi tentang UMKM pada pemuda KarangtarunaDesa Pasirkaliki sebagai upaya untuk mampu merintis usaha dan dapat menyerap tenaga kerja sertamengurangi masalah pengangguran.
