Abstract

Mobile phone users, especially the Android version of the smartphone, are increasingly spoiling their users. It is undeniable that users do not know their age, even many children have an Android version of the smartphone to play with. Meanwhile, in the satellite tracking world, the satellite tracking is still using TV when tracking the satellite so that it feels difficult. ApplicationLow Noise Block Converter is a video view application from a receiver to an Android smartphone that was built to make it easier for tracking satellites to track one of the satellites that you want to lock. This application also includes satellite tracking information facilities such as tracking guides, frequency updates, and satellite location. ApplicationLow Noise Block Converterbuilt with the Android Studio application using the Java programming language. With the creation of the applicationLow Noise Block Converter seas a new alternative to replace TV as a satellite tracking device or monitoring tool.

Abstract

Minyak nilam merupakan salah satu komoditas ekspor paling besar di Indonesia, akan tetapi saat ini kualitias dari minyak nilam masih sangat rendah hal ini ditandai dengan rendahnya kandungan patchouli alkohol sebagai kompenen utama. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk menganalisis komponen  utama minyak nilam (patchoulialkohol) secara cepat tanpa merusak sampel. Rancangan penelitian ini menggunakan model kalibrasi dan validasi pada patchouli alkohol dengan menggunakan Partial Least Square (PLS) sebagai bagian dari analisis Chemometrics. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan performa kinerja PLS pada pretreatment multiplicative scatter correction dengan nilai RPD yang paling besar yaitu 302,5. Sehingga dapat tergolong ke dalam good model performance dengan nilai koefisien korelasi (r) yang tinggi 0,99, nilai koefisien determinasi (R2) yang bagus 83%, dan nilai error (RMSECV) yang paling kecil yaitu 0,02.

Abstract

Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 2 Banda Aceh is located under the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia through the Aceh provincial regional office. Technology originating from smartphones and laptops has become something that is commonly used to facilitate the process of carrying out semester exams at these schools. The continuity of semester exams is an evaluation implemented by the school in assessing each student's ability to absorb subjects for 6 months. In 2022, students from grades 4 to 6 are expected to use smartphones or laptops to take semester exams complete with their respective internet quota data packages if using smartphones. This was approved by the school in its implementation after issuing several policies that had been agreed upon by the student's parents. The smartphone data package quota for each student is different, so the throughput produced on each smartphone has a different speed too. The method used in this research is an explanation by the presenter where the explanation is more about training to answer semester exam questions using a computer network system connected to the school's hotspot. The results of this community service activity are a solution to overcome problems with the internet network during semester exams. So that all students can answer the questions given by their respective class teachers.

Abstract

Bencana yang melanda suatu wilayah tidak hanya menimbulkan kerugian fisik dan materiil, tetapi juga berdampak pada kondisi psikologis anak-anak, seperti menurunnya semangat belajar dan berkurangnya ruang untuk berkreativitas. Computational thinking merupakan salah satu keterampilan abad ke-21 yang penting dikenalkan sejak dini karena melatih anak berpikir logis, sistematis, dan kreatif dalam menyelesaikan masalah. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengenalkan konsep dasar computational thinking dan coding kepada anak-anak usia sekolah dasar di Desa Beureueh II sebagai upaya membangun kembali kreativitas dan semangat belajar pascabencana. Metode yang digunakan adalah penyuluhan, permainan unplugged coding, dan demonstrasi coding dasar berbasis blok menggunakan media laptop. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa anak-anak mampu memahami konsep dasar computational thinking berupa dekomposisi, pengenalan pola, abstraksi, dan algoritma, serta menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi dalam menyusun rangkaian perintah (blok kode) sederhana. Kegiatan ini diharapkan mampu menumbuhkan kreativitas, rasa percaya diri, dan minat anak-anak terhadap dunia teknologi meskipun berada pada kondisi pascabencana.
