Abstract

Abstract: Church leaders are one of the main reasons that decide the church will be successful or not. Church leaders nowadays are requested to operate their leadership in such a way to answer every problems that happen on these days. One of the problems faced today is the lack of job opportunities as a result of the ongoing pandemic. The church as a social institution is asked to play an active role in helping to overcome this problem. Therefore we need a leadership style that is able to overcome these problems. In this paper, I will use a qualitative method by reviewing various literature sources to find a leadership style that fits the current context. Entrepreneur leadership style is one of many leadership styles that can be an option to solve any problems that churches are facing nowadays. Entrepreneur leadership style will create many jobs dan surely is going to solve this problems that happen during this pandemic Abstrak: Pemimpin gereja merupakan salah satu alasan utama yang menentukan berhasil atau tidaknya sebuah gereja. Pemimpin gereja masa kini diminta untuk menjalankan kepemimpinannya sedemikian rupa untuk menjawab setiap permasalahan yang ada saat ini. Salah satu permasalahan yang dihadapi saat ini adalah adalah minimnya ketersediaan lapangan pekerjaan sebagai dampak dari pandemi yang sedang terjadi. Gereja sebagai salah satu lembaga sosial diminta untuk berperan aktif membantu mengatasi hal tersebut. Oleh sebab itu diperlukan sebuah gaya kepemimpinan yang mampu mengatasi permasalahan tersebut. Dalam tulisan ini penulis akan menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan mengkaji berbagai sumber literature untuk menemukan gaya kepemimpinan yang sesuai dengan konteks masa kini. Gaya kepemimpinan entrepreneur adalah salah satu gaya kepemimpinan yang dapat dijadikan opsi untuk mengatasi berbagai macam permasalahan dalam gereja pada masa kini. Gaya kepemimpinan entrepreneur akan membuka lapangan pekerjaan baru dan tentu saja akan membantu menyelesaikan masalah yang sedang dihadapi di masa pandemi ini.

Abstract

Before the ascension of Jesus Christ into heaven, He gave the commandment, a Great Commission to preach the gospel to all nations. Dani tribe is one of the tribes in Papua and is certainly one of the objectives of the evangelistic mission. And it is not only Christianity that wants to reach out there but other religions as well. To carry out this mission, in this study the author formulated how the gospel could be understood and accepted by the Dani tribe. The authors used qualitative methods with a literature study approach. Each nation has a different culture and life from each other, even if the area is in the same country, When the Gospel will be preached in that area, the evangelists must study the context of the people's lives so that the gospel can be contextualized into the culture of life of the people. The authors hope it will benefit evangelists who will carry out missions on the Dani tribe through stone-burning ceremonies, work, and daily life.

Abstract

Sunday School ministry plays a pivotal role in introducing Jesus Christ as a Saviour to the children. As a children's pastor, Sunday School's teacher must have specific criteria to make the ministry grow even better. This research method is qualitative, followed by the descriptive analysis along with literature review toward the text in Ezekiel 34:11-16 "God, the True Shepherd (NKJV)." The study obtains three manners of God as a shepherd: God is gathering the scattered sheep, giving comforts to the sheep, and giving a proper rescue for each sheep. Leaning on those manners will lead the children's ministry in the church.

Abstract

Kepemimpinan adalah hal yang tidak terelakkan lagi dalam kehidupan ini. Eksistensinya sangat diperlukan bahkan dalam setiap bidang kehidupan, termasuk dalam bidang pemuridan dalam kehidupan bergereja. Itu sebabnya, gereja perlu membekali para pemurid sebagai orang yang akan memimpin orang lain, agar mereka dapat memuridkan dengan baik, salah satunya dengan bekal aspek kognitif. Pada kesempatan kali ini, penulis mengangkat topik “Implementasi Gaya Kepemimpinan Yesus Sebagai Role-Model Dalam Kehidupan Pemuridan”, untuk mengingatkan gereja masa kini agar gereja dapat melahirkan pemurid-pemurid yang berkualitas sesuai dengan teladan Yesus sebagai role-model bagi gereja.   Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan pendekatan studi pustaka, di mana penulis mengambil berbagai argumen dari literatur-literatur yang ada. Yang menjadi kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah seorang pemurid haruslah memiliki empat aspek yang berkaca pada apa yang Yesus lakukan semasa pelayanan-Nya di muka bumi ini: (1) Prinsip dasar memuridkan, yaitu berpusatkan pada Kristus, memperkenalkan Allah sebagai Bapa, dan memimpin dengan hati yang berbelas kasih; (2) Tanggung jawab pemurid, yaitu mendelegasikan tugas serta mengevaluasi murid; (3) Bagaimana seorang pemurid harus bersikap, yaitu melayani dengan hati hamba, menjadi teladan dalam segala hal, dan menjadi gembala yang peduli dengan domba-dombanya; dan juga (4) Pola pemuridan, yaitu penerimaan, penemanan dan pengutusan.  Leadership is an inevitable thing in life. Its existence is indispensable even in every area of life, including discipleship in church life. That is why the church needs to equip the disciples as people who will lead others so that they can make good disciples, one of which is with the cognitive aspects. On this occasion, the author raised the topic "Implementation of Jesus’ Leadership Style as a Role-Model in the Life of Discipleship", to remind the church today so that the church can produce qualified disciples according to Jesus' example as role-models for the church. The method used in this research is the library research approach, in which the authors take various arguments from the existing literature. The conclusion in this study is that a disciple must have four aspects that reflect on what Jesus did during His ministry on this earth: (1) The basic principles of discipleship, namely being Christ-centered, introducing God as Father, and leading with compassionate heart; (2) Responsibilities of making disciple, namely delegating tasks and evaluating students; (3) How a disciple must behave, namely serving with a servant's heart, being an example in all things, and being a shepherd who cares for his sheep; and also (4) Discipleship patterns, namely acceptance, companionship, and commissioning.

Abstract

This journal was arranged using a descriptive qualitative method, in which the authors of the journal collected research materials from literature sources in the form of books, journals, and several statistical sources and then combined them into a unified whole in this journal. Broadly speaking, it will be explained about the cultural elements of the Sundanese community group based on the seven points of review of cultural elements proposed by Kroeber & Kluckhonhn, namely: (1) tools and equipment for human life, (2) livelihood and economic system, (3) social system, (4) language, (5) art, (6) knowledge system, and (7) religion.

Abstract

The Great Commission, which reads to make disciples of all nations, cannot be separated from its impact on the growth of the church in terms of quantity and quality. The results of the mission that are growth as increased the number and faith of believers. However, the church is too busy with programs which seem just only an euphoria of its activities, without a focus on the growth impact of the church and congregation. The church often isolates itself by high walls building as like “member only”, so that the gospel is not communicated and is not properly nurtured in the wider community. That’s why God's church being underdeveloped. To describe a biblical study of mission and discipleship in the Great Commission and its implications for church growth, so then researchers use research methods from literature and related journals to find the meaning of church growth by God's great Commission.

Abstract

LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender) people are currently becoming a topic of conversation in Indonesian society. The debate about LGBT is also viewed from various aspects of the life of the Indonesian people, especially from the moral and spiritual aspects. Some accept, and some also reject the existence of LGBT people. However, the church generally rejects their existence and excommunicates and punishes them. This attitude does not describe the church as a place to show love. LGBT people need a touch of love from the church with pastoral assistance. Through pastoral care provided by the church, LGBT people can be helped to experience recovery through a touch of Christ's love.

Abstract

Leaders play a vital role in a company. The success or failure of a company is greatly influenced by the leadership style adopted in the Company. This research is field research with a qualitative approach. The method used in this study is the method of interviews and observation or observation. Harmony occurred between the Company and the assisted villages around the cement factory of PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk. Palimanan unit, which in the previous era of Leadership did not occur within the scope of the CSR program. The changes that have occurred and can be seen are the increasing relations with the assisted villages within the assisted area of P.T. Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa. Tbk Palimanan unit, and the maximum reactivation of UPS (Waste Management Unit) BUMDes (Village Owned Enterprises) West Palimanan. Combining the Democratic Leadership Style and Christian Leadership is applied to solve existing problems. Success in the era of Christian Leadership in PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk. is inseparable from divine Influence, namely the factor of God's intervention in an individual's life. God's intervention aims to shape the individual into a leader with full capacity by using self, other people, special events, and the individual leader's response to what she is experiencing.

Abstract

This research was conducted in which during the COVID -19 pandemic, there were a lot of people, including teenagers, early childhood, even parents, could misuse social media in their personal lives. Moreover, social media is a means where we can easily communicate with each other from a distance or a short distance. Moreover, from the various definitions of social media, it is also emphasized that social media is indeed very influential for us users and plays a perfect role. It also discusses how the right way to use social media during this pandemic is what we have to do during a pandemic like this.

Abstract

Para mahasiswa mencoba mencari kegiatan yang sifatnya dilakukan bersama antara beberapa denominasi gereja dan memberikan manfaat secara langsung bagi lingkungan gereja dan masyarakat umum di kemudian hari. Dari hasil diskusi, akhirnya para mahasiswa memutuskan untuk membuat kegiatan workshop menjahit di kalangan kaum wanita di lingkungan PGIS kota Cirebon. Kota Cirebon adalah kota penghasil kain batik, salah satu yang menjadi ikon dan banyak dikenal oleh masyarakat adalah batik motif “mega mendung”. Batik ini bila di bila dijual langsung, harganya menjadi murah dan minatnya juga terbatas kalau dijual dalam bentuk kain. Bila dijual dalam bentuk produk jadi fashion (baju, celana, asesoris seperti tas, dompet, topi) akan sangat mungkin diminati oleh banyak orang dan tentunya ada nilai tambah di harga jual.
