Abstract

Employees’ organizational commitment refers to the individuals’ loyalty and involvement in all institution activities. Therefore, the variable becomes fundamental in a higher education institution. It indicates the need for the institution to improve the work life quality. The present study aimed to know and analyze the influence of QWL on the employees’ organizational commitment. The quantitative research was conducted in State Islamic Institute (IAIN) Kendari in 2019 with 55 samples out of 142 population. The precision was 10%. The findings showed that QWL has a positive and significant influence, reaching a score of 0.727 or 72.7%. It means that the employees’ commitment can be increased by improving the Quality of Work Life (QWL).

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis pengelolaan mahasantri Ma'had Al Jami'ah IAIN Kendari. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan melalui reduksi data, tampilan dan pengungkit data. Pengecekkan keabsahan data dilakukan dengan teknik penambahan pengamatan, ketekunan dan triangulasi (sumber, teknik dan waktu). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pengelolaan mahasantri Ma'had Al Jami'ah IAIN Kendari meliputi beberapa hal: 1) orientasi mahasantri baru, 2) pengelompokkan mahasantri, 3) peraturan dan tata tertib mahasantri, 4) pembinaan mahasantri (Tahsinul qira'ah Al-Qur'an 'an, Tafsir, Hadis, Fiqih, Adab, Bahasa), 5) pengontrolan mahasantri, dan 6) evaluasi mahasantri.panutan dalam kegiatan pengelolaan mahasantri di Ma'had Al Jami'ah.
