Abstract

Pada Tugas Akhir ini menguraikan tentang proses perancangan dan pembuatan antena array mikrostrip patch Square-circular dengan bahan patch yang berbeda yaitu dari bahan tembaga dan alumunium foil   yang digunakan dalam komunikasi antar titik jaringan WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network) dengan tujuan untuk memperkuat daya tangkap sinyal wireless adapter terhadap sinyal wifi. Proses rancang bangun dilakukan melalui perhitungan dimensi secara teori dan kemudian menggunakan software Ansoft HFSS v13 sebagai alat simulasi sebelum melakukan rancang bangun. Bentuk rancangan antena mikrostrip terdiri dari sebuah patch Square-circular elemen tunggal yang di modif menjadi 4 elemen array. Modifikasi elemen tunggal menjadi 4 elemen array  bertujuan untuk menaikan gain dari antena. Pada antena mikrostrip dengan bentuk patch square dengan spesifikasi panjang sisi W=3,8 cm dan L=2,868 cm dan patch circular dengan spesifikasi jari-jari a = 1,746 cm. Spesifikasi media dasar rancangan menggunakan substrat FR-4 Epoxy dengan ketebalan 1,6 mm dengan konstanta dielektrik 4,4. Teknik pencatuan yang digunakan adalah dengan teknik micostrip line feed. Setelah melakukan beberapa simulasi diperoleh hasil yang terbaik pada frekuensi 2,4 GHz dengan return loss -18,96, VSWR sebesar 1,9 dan gain sebesar 5,5 dB . Hasil simulasi tersebut telah memenuhi standar yaitu VSWR ≤ 2 dan Return Loss ≤ 10. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian di laboratorium telekomunikasi diperoleh hasil penguatan daya (gain)rata-rata dari antena array mikrostrip patch square- circular bahan tembaga pada jarak 5 meter sebesar 12,4 dBm, pada jarak 10 meter sebesar 4,6 dBm, pada jarak 15 meter sebesar 7,6 dBm, dan  pada jarak 20 meter sebesar 4,8 dBm. Sedangkan hasil penguatan daya (gain)rata-rata dari antena array mikrostrip patch square- circular bahan alumunium foil pada jarak 5 meter sebesar 19,6 dBm, pada jarak 10 meter sebesar 1 dBm, pada jarak 15 meter sebesar 7,4 dBm, dan pada jarak 20 meter sebesar 4,8 dBm.

Abstract

The message conveyed by a communicator through a medium must have a motive to be conveyed by the messenger. Similarly, what Tempo.co is trying to convey when providing an overview of the condition of handling Covid-19 on the front cover which shows how the handling of Covid-19 is being carried out needs to be criticized. From the 35 front covers of tempo.co magazine from March 2020 when the first case of the Covid-19 virus was discovered until April 2022 to be analyzed using the Semiotics content analysis method from Roland Barthes, this paper tries to criticize government management through public policy messages that have been carried out by the government. during the time of covid-19. The results of the study show that the Government is experiencing uncertainty, confusion, poor management, and even a dilemma in dealing with the spread of the Covid-19 virus. Tempo.co explains well the policies made by the Government which not only met resistance from businessmen, religious institutions, political parties, and even communities that were divided after the 2019 Presidential Election. However, Tempo.co also well illustrated that there is still hope for improving management. public policy in handling Covid-19 by not creating confusion in the community and hoping to improve public welfare after the endemic epidemic by working together, not blaming. each other, and unite.

Abstract

The development and advancement of technology affects how man interacts with others. The revolution of society interaction which was proposed by Straubhaar and LaRose, from pre-farming society to a farming society, into an industrial society, which was marked by the label of industrial revolution, to the information society, which is marked by the information revolution, shifted the way and man’s attitudes both in terms of economy and interaction. In the information society, the revolution also takes place in message delivery, where face-to-face was common at first, to textual and visual delivery, which is a change in the internet era.

Abstract

On October 31, 2021, Indonesia was appointed to assume the G20 Presidency and proposed 3 (three) priority issues in the G20 Presidency, namely Digital Transformation Issues, Global Health Architecture Issues, and Sustainable Energy Issues. To obtain the success of the G20 Presidency, the role of mass media is an important factor to support this success. Using quantitative content analysis and thematic analysis units, this article seeks to obtain an overview of the role of the media on two important issues focused on at the G20 event, namely Priority Issues and Working Group Issues. The results of the study found that Kompas.com conveyed the most information about the G20 with 202 articles and issues regarding Digital Transformation were the most discussed Priority Issues. It can be concluded that the role of the media is still limited in conveying information about the G20, so it is expected to amplify the G20 through other social media and convey messages that have proximity to the audience.

Abstract

The removal of the mural as a critical message in the Instagram account prompted a critical community @gejayanmemanggil to hold a Lomba Mural Dibungkam. The purpose of this article is to provide a vital explanation of the form of resistance that causes the act of silencing freedom of opinion as well as the disclosure of motives in constructing a message about resistance. The method uses Van Dijk's critical discourse model with text, social cognition, and context dimensions. The results found that the form of resistance was carried out directly, indirectly, and virtually through social media and made the message viral.

Abstract

The presence of new digital-based media has pushed a shift in media consumption patterns in society in obtaining information and content in entertainment programs, which is a challenge for ANTV in the media indutry competition. This is what is referred to as media convergence, namely the merger between conventional media and new media. It is important to see how the mass media does not only carry out the information function in reporting, but also has an entertainment function, especially in television media. By using a qualitative approach with the case study method, this article attempts to reveal the uniqueness and special specifications related to the media convergence strategy in entertainment content at ANTV, through in-depth interviews and observation and documentation. The results of this study provide an illustration that media convergence in entertainment content at ANTV is carried out based on planning, implementation, and evaluation at each stage across promotion, content cloning, coopetition, content sharing and full convergence. Strategic steps in implementing ANTV's media convergence strategy refer to media integration in entertainment content, co-creation between TV and digital media, while also addressing the challenge of audience fragmentation and taking advantage of opportunities for ANTV to monetize new inventory.

Abstract

Mobile dating app Bumble telah dikenal sebagai ‘Tinder versi feminis’ karena memungkinkan perempuan untuk mengontrol penuh aktivitas percakapan mereka. Bumble juga dipandang sebagai lanskap teknologi baru, dimana perempuan dapat melakukan aktivitas kencan secara online melalui proses menginisiasikan percakapan, mengeksplorasi relasional yang beragam, hingga hasrat seksual. Penelitian ini menggunakan paradigma Kristis dengan metode fenomenologi dan dalam memperoleh data menggunakan wawancara tidak terstruktur terhadap 43 informan pengguna perempuan Jabodetabek, untuk menjawab pengalaman-pengalaman apa saja yang mereka temui selama menggunakan Bumble. Hasil dari penelitian menemukan bahwa fitur Bumble yang terkesan memberdayakan perempuan ini membuat perempuan dapat bernegosiasi dan berpartisipasi dalam menciptakan sebuah hubungan impian, meskipun dianggap melawan norma gender tradisional yang melekat di masyarakat. Dimulai dari hubungan yang paling banyak dan paling mudah ditemukan seperti hubungan pertemanan, hingga hubungan yang membutuhkan usaha lebih untuk menemukannya, seperti pacar atau suami, serta kejadian-kejadian lain yang mereka alami selama menggunakan mobile dating app Bumble, dari yang menyenangkan, hingga meninggalkan kekecewaan.

Abstract

Competition between television in Indonesia encourages the existence of a television program planning strategy, mainly to buy the concept of a television format that has been successful in other countries by adopting its success. Of course, the adoption that is carried out requires adaptation to the culture that exists in a country, in this case, through research on the Indonesian Idol event. When adaptation occurs and there are local factors such as the cultural, psychological, and physical factors of the audience, it is at that point that it is questionable whether it is about the meaning of the universality of an adopted show program. With case study methods and constructivism paradigms, as well as data collection through interviews with key informants from Freemantle, RCTI, and the audience. From the data processing, it was found that the meaning of universality is divided into three categories, namely, competition, narrative, and participation, and the meaning of emotion has two categories, namely, as a response and as an effect of contagion.
