Abstract

The purpose of making this thesis is to answer the formulation of the problem in the research, namely whether there is an increase in interest in learning physical education through traditional boy-boyan games in students, is there an impact of traditional boy-boyan games on increasing interest in learning physical education in students. The problem of this study is that there are students who feel bored in attending physical education lessons. This research is a quantitative research with experimental methods and uses a pretest-posttest control group design design. The sampling technique uses cluster sampling technique. The instrument used is a likert scale questionnaire questionnaire.There are three stages in this study, namely pretest, treatment and posttest. Treatment was conducted sixteen times. From the pretest and posttest results, there was an increase from the initial average of 74.25, a significant value was obtained from the pretest results, namely 0.290 while the posttest value was 0.420 from these results, it is said that both are normally distributed because the significant value is more than 5% or from 0.05.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian yang dilakukan adalah untuk mengetahui besarnya minat dan motivasi siswa pada kegiatan ekstrakulikuler pencak silat di SMPN 1 TelukJambe Timur. Populasi yang digunakan pada penelitian terdiri dari 30 peserta ekstrakulikuler pencak silat di SMPN 1 TelukJambe Timur. Semua data yang didapatkan melalui teknik observasi, angket dan wawancara. Data yang didapatkan menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dengan kategori persentase. Hasil analisis memperoleh bahwa minat siswa terhadap kegiatan ekstrakulikuler sebesar 88% dan motivasi siswa sebesar 85,5%. Kesimpulannya minat dan motivasi siswa untuk mengikuti kegiatan ekstrakulikuler pencak silat di SMPN 1 TelukJambe Timur  kategori baik.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the contribution of reward and punishment to the learning motivation of floor exercise among seventh-grade students at SMP Negeri 1 Cikampek. The background of this research is based on the importance of implementing reward and punishment to increase students' enthusiasm for learning, especially in practical lessons such as floor exercise which requires discipline and high motivation. This research employs a descriptive quantitative method with a survey approach. The population of this study is all seventh-grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Cikampek, with a sample size of 48 students. The data were collected using a Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques in the form of frequency distribution and percentage. The results showed that most students gave positive responses to reward, with the majority choosing the categories of agree and strongly agree. Meanwhile, the implementation of punishment is still considered relevant but must be applied wisely. Students' learning motivation in floor exercise is categorized as high. This indicates that reward and punishment provide a positive contribution in shaping students' learning motivation.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of peer tutoring on the ability to perform a bounce pass in basketball learning for seventh-grade students at SMPN 117 Jakarta Timur. The bounce pass technique is an essential skill in basketball, but many students struggle to master it. This is due to a lack of understanding of the mechanics of the movement and insufficient practice. Conventional teaching methods, which primarily rely on lectures and demonstrations, are considered less effective in improving students' skills. The research method used is a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest one-group design. The study involved 35 seventh-grade students at SMPN 117 Jakarta Timur who received treatment using the peer tutoring method. The instrument used was a bounce pass skill test, measured before and after the intervention. Data analysis was performed using paired samples t-test to examine the difference in students' abilities before and after the peer tutoring method was applied. The results showed a significant improvement in students' bounce pass skills after the implementation of the peer tutoring method. The average improvement score was 4.689 points, with a significance value of p = 0.000. This indicates that the peer tutoring method effectively enhanced students' technical abilities in performing the bounce pass. Students felt more confident and active in the learning process due to the increased interaction with their peers. Based on the findings, it can be concluded that the application of the peer tutoring method has a positive impact on improving students' bounce pass skills. Therefore, it is recommended to implement this method in basketball learning to enhance students' basic motor skills.
