Abstract

This study aims to express the effectiveness of module development of power point optimizing training as a learning media. The module developed has several excellences such as the material presentation presented focusing on how to make a good learning media, started from the opening part, material, evaluation, references, completed with self assessment and presentation of Self Directed Learning (SDL) based material which eases the teacher to study independently. The type of this research was R&D with 4D model. based on the observation result found that predominantly the teachers did not acquire power point yet. Based on the result of N-Gain test on pre-test and post-test score shows that the average score of N-Gain is  > 0,70 (high category). The result of self assessment on each meeting shows that 75% teachers have achieved score 70. Based on this data, it can be concluded that the module being developed is included into effective category in improving the teachers’ competence especially in making technology based learning media.

Abstract

Astronomy is the study of celestial bodies. Some of the sub-materials included in the field of astronomy include the solar system, the sun, and astrology. Astronomy should be a very interesting subject to learn. However, most of the teachers in explaining the material did not use the right media. So students can only fantasize. In this research, a literature review will be conducted regarding the use of Stellarium as a learning medium for astronomy. The literature reviewed is the result of research that has been published in national and international journals, article, proceedings and book. With this research, it is hoped that readers can find out how to use Stellarium and its effectiveness in learning. The results showed that the use of a Stellarium was proven to increase students' interest in studying astronomy such as in the solar system.

Abstract

This research was conducted based on the results of observations made on physics teachers at SMA N 1 Sungai Penuh. Observation results show that 86% of physics teachers still use teaching materials in the form of printed books that have been provided at school. Some of the difficulties experienced by students are the difficulty of understanding the contents of the available textbooks. This study aims to produce a teaching material that can increase students' access to learning physics in the digital era. Teaching materials are an important part of learning because they can be used as learning resources for both students and teachers. This development research uses a 4D Model adapted from Thiagrajan. After doing the research, the teaching materials in the form of M-Learning are Valid, Practical, and Effective.

Abstract

Powtoon is one of the new presentation applications that is currently widely used to develop learning media. In this study, a literature study will be conducted on the feasibility and effectiveness to the use of Powtoon-based learning videos in physics learning. The research was conducted by reviewing research results that have been published in national and international journals based on search results on Google Scholar. The results showed that the average results of developing Powton-based learning media in physics learning were in the appropriate category and very feasible to be used in learning. The results of student responses were very positive and student learning outcomes increased after using Powtoon-based learning videos

Abstract

The purpose of this reseach is to explore development of learning material that has been developed by using Adobe Flash in physics learning. This article uses literature study method with study the result of research about using Adobe Flash in physics learning material from 2010-2020. Based on study show that In Indonesia, the most used software in physics learning material is Adobe Flash. Adobe Flash as a basic for make picture, animation and simulation before combining with the other software. Some of the learning material that used Adobe Flash like FlipBook, games, Mobile Learning and Interactive Multimedia Learning. Using Adobe Flash is proved that can give optimal result in physics learning process. It showed by increasing of students result and interesting in physics learning.

Abstract

Penggunaan media pembelajaran merupakan alat bantu pendidik yang dapat membantu proses penyampaian pelajaran, tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan tujuan pembelajaran, dan guru diharapkan menyiapkan media pembelajaran yang kreatif, serta berfikir inovatif untuk mendesain media pembelajaran agar mampu menarik perhatian peserta didik. Peserta didik kurang memahami materi yang di sampaikan guru, sehingga mereka tidak mampu menyimpulkan materi yang disampaikan. Terlihat dari data hasil belajar siswa dengan persentase ketuntasan hanya 62,93%. Guru membutuhkan media pembelajaran yang kreatif dan inovatif agar dapat mendorong pemahaman peserta didik dan minat belajar peserta didik terhadap. Salah satu media pembelajaran yang digunakan dengan menggunakan media  pembelajaran berbasis Canva. Dalam pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis Canva dilakukan beberapa tahap pengujian salah satunya tahap pengujian Validitas untuk mengetaahui layak atau tidaknya media pembelajaran. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Research and Development. Dengan model pengembangan 4-D (Four D) Instrumen penelitian yang dilakukan menentukan kevalidan, praktikalitas, dan efektifitas media pembelajaran Canva dalam penerapannya. Untuk mengetahui validitas media yang dikembangkan, maka dibuat angket respon ahli yang dibagi menjadi dua tahap, yaitu validasi media dan validasi materi. Hasil dari penelitian ini  dihitung menggunaakan rumus Aiken’s dan diperoleh rata-rata nilai vaiditas media pembelajaran berbasis Canva yaitu 0,85 dengan kategori “Valid”. Serta hasil uji validitas ahli materi dan ahli bahasa media pembelajaran Canva dengan rata-rata 0,713 dengan kategori Valid yang tinggi. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran Canva pada materi Impuls dan Momentum kelas X TBSM valid dan layak digunakan sebagai salah satu media pembelajaran layak digunakan sebagai bahan ajar untuk meningkatkan minat dan motivasi belajar siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the team quiz learning method in the physics subject for class VIII students of SMP Negeri 10 Kerinci. This type of research is experimental research with a pre-experimental form, the design of the research design is One Group Pretest Posttest Design. The population in this study were all 82 class VIII students of SMP Negeri 10 Kerinci, consisting of 37 male students and 45 female students. From the learning outcomes obtained from the final test after learning, based on the normality and homogeneity tests of the learning outcomes data for one class of the sample, it was found that the data were normally distributed and homogeneous, so the t-test was used to test the hypothesis. From the calculation results, the average posttest result = 78.61 while the average pretest result = 46.19. Because ????ℎ????????????????????= 21.16 and ????????????????????????= 1.71 means ????0 is rejected and ????1 is accepted. So it can be concluded that there is effectiveness of the team quiz learning method in the physics subject for class VIII students of SMP Negeri 10 Kerinci in the 2020/2021 academic year.

Abstract

Powtoon merupakan salah satu aplikasi yang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai media pembelajaran. Berbagai penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan powtoon dapat meningkatkan minat dan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran, namun masih banyak guru yang belum bisa menggunakan powtoon. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengetahuan awal guru terhadap penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis Powtoon di Kabupaten Kerinci. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis kuantitatif desktiptif. Hasil analisis angket menunjukkan bahwa  88,9 % guru belum pernah menggunakan Powtoon dan 100 % guru tertarik untuk mengikuti pelatihan  media pembelajaran berbasis powtoon.

Abstract

Abstrak Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk memberikan bimbingan belajar kepada anak-anak di Panti Asuhan Wanita Muhammadiyah Kota Sungai Banyak serta membantu anak-anak untuk dapat mengulang materi yang dipelajari di sekolah. Jumlah peserta PKM terdiri dari 21 mahasiswa. Diantaranya adalah 4 siswa SD, 10 siswa SMP, 5 siswa SMA, dan 2 siswa yang sedang mempersiapkan studi ke perguruan tinggi. Metode pelaksanaan terdiri dari 3 tahapan yaitu tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan dan tahap evaluasi. Kegiatan bimbingan belajar bagi siswi di Panti Asuhan Sungai Bawah Putri Aisyiyah mendapat respon yang baik dari Ketua Yayasan Panti Asuhan Yatim Piatu Muhammadiyah Putri Sungai Banyak dan anak-anak asuh sangat antusias dalam mengikuti proses selama bimbingan berlangsung. Setelah bimbingan belajar dilaksanakan sesuai jadwal yang telah ditentukan maka anak asuh (siswa) mampu memahami materi yang diberikan, menyelesaikan soal dengan baik dan meningkatkan motivasi siswa dalam belajar.   Kata kunci: bimbingan belajar, panti asuhan   Abstract  This Community Service Activity (PKM) aims to provide study guidance to children in the Muhammadiyah women's orphanage in Sungai Banyak City as well as helping children to be able to repeat the material learned at school. The number of PKM participants consists of 21 students. Among them are 4 elementary school students, 10 middle school students, 5 high school students, and 2 students who are preparing to study at university. The implementation method consists of 3 stages, namely the preparation stage, implementation stage and evaluation stage. The tutoring activity for female students at the Sungai Bawah Putri Aisyiyah Orphanage received a good response from the Chairman of the Sungai Banyak Orphanage Muhammadiyah Putri Orphanage Foundation and the foster children were very enthusiastic in participating in the process while the tutoring was carried out. After the tutoring is carried out according to the predetermined schedule, the foster children (students) are able to understand the material provided, solve questions well and increase student motivation in learning. Keywords: Tutoring, Orphanage.

Abstract

 Tujuan penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk mengkaji kemungkinan penyebab terjadinya kekeliruan siswa dalam menjelaskan berbagai fenomena fisis, terutama karena kurangnya kemampuan dalam memahami konsep. Tidak seperti sudut pandang miskonsepsi, teori resource yang memandang bahwa kekeliruan siswa lebih dikarenakan pemahamannya yang belum utuh lebih jarang ditilik oleh peneliti, khususnya di Indonesia. Kajian mendalam terkait penyebab kekeliruan siswa menjadi sangat penting untuk kemudian digunakan sebagai acuan sebagai rancangan pembelajaran yang berkualitas. Dalam artikel ini akan dikaji kesulitan siswa dalam memahami konsep gaya menurut perspektif teori resource, serta alternatif pembelajaran untuk mereduksi kesalahan.
