Abstract

Anak usia remaja merupakan anak yang berada dalam masa transisi antara masa anak dan dewasa. Seiring dengan pertumbuhan, anak juga akan mengalami pencapaian di tiap tahap jenis perkembangan. Dalam masa transisi, remaja diperhadapkan dengan situasi yang sulit. Kondisi pandemi COVID-19 turut menambah stressor remaja. Berbagai permasalahan dapat muncul dalam proses adaptasi ini. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada masyarakat dengan judul Webinar Edukasi Pertumbuhan Dan Perkembangan Remaja Dan Promosi Kesehatan Di Era Pandemi dilakukan di SMP Sekolah Tunas Indonesia, Bintaro, pada tanggal 28 Agustus 2020. Kegiatan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan remaja tentang pertumbuhan dan perkembangan serta menilai status nutrisi remaja sebagai salah satu indikator sederhana dari pertumbuhan fisik remaja. Edukasi dibagi dalam dua sesi, yaitu “Pertumbuhan dan Perkembangan Anak Usia Remaja” dan “Remaja Sehat di Masa Pandemi”. Webinar diikuti 61 peserta, terdiri dari 54 siswa dan 7 guru. Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan peserta sebesar 6,91, dengan rerata nilai pre-test sebesar 52,82 dan nilai post-test 59,13. Penilaian status nutrisi pada peserta diketahui sebanyak 60% dalam rentang normal, 32% nutrisi berlebih dan 8% nutrisi kurang. Sebanyak 39 (63.9%) peserta merasa jenuh dalam melakukan pembelajaran jarak jauh. Siswa dan Guru dapat lebih memperhatikan asupan nutrisi serta giat melakukan upaya promosi kesehatan di sekolah.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Human resources with good health status are essential for a nation's development. One of the preventive efforts to reduce morbidity and mortality in children caused by infectious diseases is through primary immunization. The survey results regarding implementing basic immunization in Indonesia in 2019 have decreased compared to the previous year. To reveal the factors that hinder basic immunization activities for children in Indonesia. A literature search using the National Library of Indonesia, PubMed, and Google Scholar with the keywords "Barriers AND Basic Immunization AND Children" was conducted. The analysis data used the PICOT method. According to the topic's relevance, six articles were selected. Some factors become obstacles in providing primary immunization for children, namely: lack of knowledge, physical impact, availability of vaccines, individual perceptions and beliefs, ways of communicating with health workers, family support, distance problems, and time problems. The lack of knowledge about basic immunization for children is the main factor influencing other inhibiting factors for immunization activities.  Keywords: Barrier, Child, Immunization  ABSTRAK Sumber daya manusia dengan status kesehatan yang baik merupakan hal yang penting bagi pembangunan suatu bangsa. Salah satu usaha preventif dalam mengurangi angka kesakitan dan kematian yang diakibatkan dari penyakit menular ialah melalui imunisasi dasar pada anak. Hasil survei tentang pelaksanaan imunisasi dasar di Indonesia tahun 2019 mengalami penurunan dibanding tahun sebelumnya. Untuk menemukan faktor hambatan kegiatan imunisasi dasar bagi anak di Indonesia. Pencarian literatur yang dilakukan menggunakan Perpusnas, PubMed, dan Google Scholar dengan kata kunci yang digunakan adalah “Hambatan DAN Imunisasi Dasar DAN Anak” dan dianalisis menggunakan PICOT. Pada pencarian artikel menggunakan 3 database, yaitu: Perpusnas 219 artikel, PubMed 458 artikel, dan Google Scholar 1236 artikel. Setelah didiskualifikasi sesuai tahun terbit (5 tahun terakhir) dan pemilihan duplikat artikel diperoleh 327 artikel, selanjutnya yang sesuai dengan relevansi topik maka terpilih 6 artikel yang digunakan. Faktor-faktor yang menjadi hambatan dalam pemberian imunisasi dasar anak, yaitu: kurang pengetahuan, dampak fisik, ketersediaan vaksin, persepsi dan keyakinan individu, cara komunikasi tenaga kesehatan, dukungan keluarga, masalah jarak, dan masalah waktu. Peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa kurang pengetahuan tentang imunisasi dasar anak menjadi faktor utama yang memengaruhi faktor-faktor hambatan lainnya terhadap kegiatan imunisasi. Kata Kunci: Anak, Hambatan, Imunisasi

Abstract

Abstract Introduction: Advances in biotechnology was giving benefits in the development of immunization-based substances. Immunization helps to reduce children morbidity. Children who missed basic immunization will have a high risk of experiencing serious illness. Preliminary data shows that 12 out of 30 parents are worried and doubtful about immunization and that optimal immunization coverage is not achieved. Objective: To find out the description of the perceptions and attitudes of parents and child immunization. Method: This research uses a quantitative descriptive method. Sampling technique using incidental sampling technique, amounting to 200 people. The standard instrument used to measure perception comes from Hemadiyan's (2017) questionnaire and attitude questionnaire from Yuliana (2010). The data analysis technique used is univariate analysis. Results: Most respondents had a good perception of immunization as many as 107 parents (53.5%), the majority of respondents had a good attitude towards giving immunizations, 113 people (56.5%), and full immunization of children as many as 156 respondents (78%). Conclusion: Nurses in hospital setting need to provide comprehensive education for parents about the benefits of providing child immunization. Nursing students together with paediatric nursing lecture can also produce immunization education materials in the form of audio visuals distributed to the community. This effort is expected to increase the coverage of basic immunization in Indonesia. Future studies can examine the relationship between parental perceptions and attitudes in immunization.

Abstract

  Instilling a culture of literacy in today's digital era begins with children's interest in learning. One of them is through reading and writing literacy. However, rapidly developing technological capabilities and an increasingly sophisticated era create new problems for children due to low interest in literacy. The low level of literacy in children is an alarm in the development of human resources to determine the future of the nation, so this is the background for conducting education related to children's literacy activities on the learning attitudes of school-age children. The form of education is carried out through hybrid community service (PkM) through Zoom and at the locations of TBA Arumba 91 and Yayasan SD Masehi GBKP Kabanjahe, North Sumatra, with participants being elementary school students consisting of grades 4-6 SD. The implementation method is pre-test, post-test, material presentation, and discussion. The topic explained at this seminar is education about literacy activities that can be done in schoolchildren, especially health literacy and healthy living education in school-age children. This activity was attended by 127 participants, and all of them participated from the beginning to the end of the activity. The results of the activity obtained an increase in understanding from the participants based on the average value of the pre-test (before given the material = 62.70) and post-test (after given the material = 74.20) with a p-value = 0.001. Literacy activities enhance children’s interest, concentration, and critical thinking; parents and teachers should regularly involve them in enjoyable literacy activities.
