Abstract

The waste problem is a big problem all over the world. Every year the use of plastic has increased quite high. This increase is based on changes in living conditions and development of activities. With the accumulation of plastic waste, it will have a bad impact on the environment. To overcome this problem, this research will recycle plastic waste as a mixture of construction materials. This study aims to determine the use of PET plastic bottle waste materials to substitute fine aggregate on the compressive strength and water absorption test. The experimental method is used in research by observing and testing carried out in the laboratory using 12 test objects, using SNI to plan the concrete mixture. The results showed that the compressive strength test value was 0% 24.85 MPa, 3% 8.42 MPa, 6% 4.79 MPa, and 9% 2.56 MPa. And the results of the water absorption test resulted in an average of 0% of 0.39%, 3% produced 2.46%, 6% produced 3.38% and 9% produced 4.10%.

Abstract

Air pollution is an annual problem that occur in every city. Surabaya is one of the cities with a fairly dense population so it is directly proportional to the number of motor vehicles used. Motor vehicles and industrial areas were located in Surabaya contribute the largest emissions to the air so they have low air quality because of the pollution. Air quality is closley associated with pollution, to ascertain the levels of contamination are calculated in reference to the Standard Index of Air Pollution. One of the monitoring parameters used is Particulate matter 10. PM10 is a primary pollutant that emits directly into the air which has serious impacts on health and the environment. This research was conducted in Traffic Ring Taman Pelangi Surabaya for 3 days with an interval of weekdays and holidays with time intervals in the morning, afternoon and evening. Analysis of concentration data was calculated using the HVAS tool with the gravimetric method and mapped using the ArcGIS program. The results of the study showed that the highest concentration was at the sampling location point 6 with a value of PM10 = 110.71 μg/m3, and the lowest was at the sampling location point 1 with a value of PM10 = 50.15 μg/m3

Abstract

Laundry waste is one of the wastes that is wasted when it is disposed of continuously and continuously. This results in the destruction of aquatic ecosystems, especially fish. This study aims to determine the value of LC50-96 hours of laundry waste on tilapia fish (Oreochromis sp.). This study begins by knowing the parameters of BOD, COD, TSS, NH3, and detergent at the stage of Range Finding Test and Acute Toxicity Test. In addition, pH, temperature, and DO parameters were also tested every day. After that, acclimatization was carried out for 7 days without feeding the fish. Then continued with the range Finding test stage for 96 hours with variations of 0% (control), 5%, 10%, 20%, 40%, 60%, 80%, and 100%. The range obtained in the range Finding test stage is 20%. So that the variations in the acute toxicity test stageused include 6%, 9%, 12%, 15%, and 18%. After observing fish mortality approaching 50%, then these results were analyzed using Microsoft Excel. The LC50 value obtained in this test is 60002,5.

Abstract

Abstrak Tulisan ini berupaya mendorong perlunya reformasi masif di tubuh pendidikan Islam. Perubahan format ini diperlukan agar pendidikan Islam mampu menjawab berbagai tantangan dan tuntutan zaman yang terus menerus mengalami perubahan dan perkembangan. Selain itu, tulisan ini juga berupaya memberikan tawaran solutif kepada pendidikan Islam dalam menghadapi Era Revolusi Industri 4.0. Sebagaimana diketahui bersama, era 4.0 membawa dampak yang luas di segala lini kehidupan, tak terkecuali dalam bidang pendidikan. Era yang melahirkan fenomena disruption ini menuntut dunia pendidikan Islam untuk turut menyesuaikan diri. Lulusan pendidikan Islam kini dihadapkan pada tantangan, tuntutan, dan kebutuhan baru yang belum pernah ada sebelumnya. Sehingga perlu dilakukan pembaruan dan inovasi terhadap sistem, tata kelola, kurikulum, kompetensi sumber daya manusia, sarana dan prasarana, budaya, etos kerja, dan lain-lain. Jika tidak demikian, pendidikan Islam akan semakin tertinggal dan usang. Oleh karena itu, perlu dicari langkah-langkah kongkrit bagi pendidikan Islam agar mampu tetap bersaing di era disrupsi ini. Langkah solutifnya adalah dengan turut mendisrupsikan diri.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the design, implementation, and evaluation of the formation of Pancasila student profiles on the dimensions of student independence through peer tutors in PAI learning at SMPN 26 Surabaya. This research is a type of field research using a qualitative descriptive approach. The data collected is the result of observation, interviews, and documentation. The technique used in data analysis went through three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study revealed that the design for the formation of a Pancasila student profile with the dimensions of student independence through peer tutoring in PAI learning was in the form of diagnostic assessments, forming groups and determining tutors, creating teaching modules. The implementation of the design for forming a Pancasila student profile shows that students study in groups which have been divided with the assistance of one tutor, one group contains 4-5 people, while the role of the teacher monitors and oversees the course of learning. Evaluation of the design of the formation of Pancasila student profiles in PAI learning is in the form of reflection, this activity is carried out after learning is complete. The benefit of this reflection activity is that a teacher will know about the strengths and weaknesses that exist.
