Abstract

Critical thinking skills are competencies that are expected to be possessed by every student in 21st century learning. One of the efforts that can be made to improve students' critical thinking skills is to apply the flipped classroom learning model. This study aims to determine the effect of students' critical thinking skills through the application of the blended learning model of the flipped classroom. The research approach used is quantitative with a quasi-experimental type of research, the research design used is pretest-posttest non-equivalent control group design. Sampling used a total sampling technique from the entire population of 102 students of class XI IPA at SMAN 1 Peulimbang. The instrument used to measure critical thinking skills is in the form of essay questions accompanied by an assessment rubric. Data on critical thinking skills were analyzed by parametric statistics using the independent sample t test. The results showed that the value of < 0.05, then there was an effect of students' critical thinking skills after the application of the blended learning model of the flipped classroom on the respiratory system material

Abstract

Abstract: Generally students behave non-assertively because of fear of their peers. They are unable to express their most ordinary feelings, needs and opinions so that they always feel guilty for all the actions and decisions they make. The purpose of this study was to describe the affiliation motives, the description of assertive behavior, the relationship of affiliation motives with assertive behavior. This type of research is descriptive correlational research with a quantitative approach. The research location at SMAN 6 Banda Aceh with a total sample of 92 students. Data collection techniques are questionnaires with a psychological scale. Data processing and analysis techniques are percentage and correlational analysis. The results showed an illustration of affiliate motives in the medium category, assertive behavior was also in the medium category and there was a positive and significant relationship between the motives of affiliation with assertive behavior with the calculated r value of 0.749 and in the strong category.. Keywords: Affiliate Motive, Assertive BehaviorAbstrak: Umumnya siswa berperilaku non asertif karena dihinggapi rasa takut pada teman sebayanya. Mereka tidak mampu menyatakan perasaan, kebutuhan dan pendapatnya yang paling biasa sehingga mereka selalu merasa bersalah atas segala tindakan dan keputusan yang diambilnya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui gambaran motif afiliasi, gambaran perilaku asertif, hubungan motif afiliasi dengan perilaku asertif. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif korelasional dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Lokasi penelitian di SMAN 6 Banda Aceh dengan jumlah sampel 92 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah angket dengan bentuk skala psikologis. Teknik pengolahan dan analisis data yaitu dengan analisis persentase dan korelasional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan gambaran motif afiliasi berada pada kategori sedang, perilaku asertif juga berada pada kategori sedang dan terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara motif afiliasi dengan perilaku asertif dengan nilai r hitung sebesar 0,749 dan berada pada kategori kuat.Kata kunci: Motif Afiliasi, Perilaku Asertif
