Abstract

The purpose of the introduction of Japanese language and cultural recognition for teachers and students of SMA Xaverius Bukittinggi is that students understand from the beginning that to be able to master and communicate using Japanese language well is not enough to master only four language skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing) Should be able to understand Japanese culture. If you can use Japanese and understand Japanese culture well, then communication misconceptions with Japanese people can be minimized. Therefore, learning Japanese language academically also requires the process of learning Japanese culture.

Abstract

The development of Information and Communication Technology affects every aspect of human life, including in the field of Pencak Silat. In Pencak Silat matches, the scoring system has started to usedigital scoringand has begun to gradually leave the assessment blanks in the form of paper. In West Sumatra, Pencak Silat is a traditional martial art that has developed in all districts, as can be seen from the enthusiasm of participants in participating in Pencak Silat championships which are often held by the Indonesian Pencak Silat Association (IPSI) of the West Sumatra Provincial Government. However, the assessment tool does not yet use digital scoring. The purpose of this study is to design and produce a digital scoring application that meets the assessment aspects in the TGR (Single, Double Team) pencak silat competition category or the sparring category by prioritizing value transparency to improve the quality of Pencak Silat matches in West Sumatra. The digital scoring was developed with PHP which is used as a server-side scripting in web development that allows web applications to be dynamically created. The Digital Scoring which is designed to refer to the match rules of the 2016 IPSI XVI National Conference results is not only limited to hitting and kicking techniques but there are also other techniques such as slamming, pulling, elbowing, kneeling and so on which are declared as legitimate and valuable attacks. The system development method used in this research is the waterfall. namely a sequential software development method, where the process flows from top to bottom like awaterfall, passing through the phases of planning, modeling, implementation, testing and maintenance.

Abstract

ABSTRACK This study aims to identify factors that have a positive causal effect on the performance of straight kicks which have bad, good, and very good categories. In this case, it is necessary to prove the straight kick movement factor, namely the explosive power factor of the leg muscles. This type of research is quantitative research using correlation research design with causal associative method. The population in this study amounted to 32 people. So that the sample in this study is a population of 32 pencak silat athletes. Data were collected using measurements of the three variables. The explosive power of the leg muscles was tested with a vertical jump. While the ability to kick straight is measured by a test kicking straight to the Sandsack. Data were analyzed by simple regression of one predictor. Based on the results of data analysis showed that: The explosive power of the leg muscles had a significant positive effect on the accuracy of straight kicks (p < 0.05) or H0 was rejected. Conclusions: It has been observed that there is a positive causal effect of leg muscle explosive power on the performance of pencak silat athletes' straight kicks. Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the impact of Vo2max and Agility as components of the main physical condition that affect the results of single skill skills. Fifty two pencak silat athletes (aged 20-23) from Padang City participated voluntarily in this study. Data regarding the measurement of VO2max of pencak silat athletes in the city of Padang, used the Multistage Fimess Test (MFT). The results of the measurement of the maximum oxygen uptake (VO2max) are recorded based on the shuttle level (rate) achieved by the athlete using the MFT Calculation Form, and the Agility of each pencak silat athlete in 2021 is used the SEMO Agility Test instrument. , as well as the Standard Single Kick skills used in this study is Form D-3. Furthermore, to examine the effect of this study, we took advantage of the IBM SPSS software. The results show that, there are differences in the correlation between men and women with the physical condition component of Vo2max and Agility with the skills to demonstrate a single move. The power of direct influence identified that higher VO max levels, in men than in women (r = 0.532 **, p <0.05) and agility (r = 0.483 **, p <0.05), had a significant positive effect on single skill skill. Therefore, the components of the physical condition of VO2max and agility are the main factors in the success of demonstrating single moves in the sport of pencak silat. The power of direct influence identified that higher VO max levels, in men than women (r = 0.532 **, p <0.05) and agility (r = 0.483 **, p <0.05), had a significant positive effect on single skill skill. Abstract

Abtract The problem in this study is the low long service ability of badminton player PB Wardah. The low ability to serve long is influenced by several factors, such as arm muscle strength and hand eye coordination. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between arm muscle strength and hand eye coordination with the long serve ability of badminton player PB Wardah. This type of study is correlational. A total of 30 male badminton players PB Wardah were used as research samples, who were recruited using purposive sampling technique. The arm muscle strength instrument uses a push-up test for 1 minute, eye-hand coordination uses a tennis ball throw and catch test, and long service ability uses a long serve test. Data were analyzed by simple and multiple correlation techniques α = 0.05. The results of hypothesis testing show: (1) there is a significant relationship between arm muscle strength and long service ability (tcount = 5.492 > ttable = 2.048), (2) there is a significant relationship between hand eye coordination and long service ability (tcount = 3.084 > ttable = 2.048), and (3) there is a significant relationship between arm muscle strength and hand eye coordination together with long service ability (Fcount = 26.814 > Ftable = 3.354). In conclusion, if badminton player PB Wardah wants to improve his long serve ability, he must have good arm muscle strength and eye-hand coordination. Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to see the effect of the Drills For Game – Like Situation exercise on the lower passing technique skills of volleyball extracurricular students at SMA Negeri 1 Sutera. This type of research is an experiment (quasi experiment) which aims to see the effect of treatment on variables. The treatment in this study is the Drills For Game – Like Situation exercise. The population in this study amounted to 18 people. The sampling technique uses total sampling. Thus the number of samples in this study were 18 Volleyball extracurricular students at SMA Negeri 1 Sutera. The data analysis technique used is t test analysis (mean difference test) with a significant level α = 0.05. The results of the study obtained that the average pre-test score was 6 and the average score after the post-test was 12. Based on the t test, the value of tcount = 14.312> ttable = 2.10, with a confidence level of α = 0.05. The results showed that there was a significant effect of the Drills For Game – Like Situation training method on the ability of the underhand passing technique of volleyball extracurricular students at SMA Negeri 1 Sutera. This means that one of the training methods, namely Drills For Game – Like Situation, can be used to influence the ability of volleyball underhand passing techniques. Abstract

Abtract This research is to discuss the influence of outdoor education learning models on motor development which is still very rare. The purpose of this study aims to provide information about the influence of outdoor education learning models on motor development. Methodology This study uses the literature review method using a comprehensive strategy such as searching for articles in the research journal database. The databases used are Scopus, Web of Science, and Google Scholar. The results of the literature review show that outdoor education has a positive impact on motor development. Outdoor education can be done by modifying it in the form of a game, making a special program, and making it a school curriculum to improve motor skills. Keywords: Learning, Outdoor Education, Motor.

Abstract

Sickle kick is a Pencak silat martial arts technique that athletes must master to gain match points. It is just that the reality on the ground shows that the crescent kick technique shown by athletes could be more optimal. The flexibility of the waist and the reaction speed is one factor that determines the success of an athlete's kick. This study aimed to determine the effect of waist flexibility and the speed of reaction to sickle kicks by Perisai Diri pencak silat athletes. This research belongs to quantitative research using a correlation design with causal associative methods. The population in this study was 35 people. The sample was taken using the probability sampling technique, with the final sample size being 35 people. Data was collected using measurements of the three variables. The flexibility of the waist was tested with a flexiometer. The reaction speed was a whole-body reaction. In contrast, a sickle kick ability test measured the crescent kick ability. Data were analyzed with two predictors and multiple regression. Based on the data analysis results, waist flexibility has a significantly positive effect on the accuracy of sickle kicks, and reaction speed has a significantly positive effect on the accuracy of sickle kicks. Based on these results, it can be concluded that waist flexibility and reaction rate significantly positively affect the accuracy of sickle kicks of Pencak Silat Perisai Diri athletes.
