Abstract

This research aims to determine how the competitiveness of natural rubber export of Central Java Province in terms of its comparative advantages and competitive advantages. The basic method of research is analytical descriptive. The research location is Central Java Province, where the area is potentially in manages natural rubber to make the superior plantation commodities and has been exported continuously. The data used in this research are primary and secondary data. The data analysis used is XCI (Export Competitiveness Index) and RCA (Revealed Comparative Advantage) analysis. The results show: The competitiveness of natural rubber export of Central Java Province observed from the competitive advantage by using XCI (Export Competitiveness index) analysis, shows that the average XCI value of natural rubber Central Java Province during 2001 until 2015 is more than one that is 1,08 and indicates that the natural rubber commodity of Central Java Province has an increasing competitive trend in the international market. The competitiveness of natural rubber export of Central Java Province observed from comparative advantage by using RCA (Revealed Comparative Advantage) analysis shows that the average value of RCA of natural rubber of Central Java Province during 2001 to 2015 is more than one that is 6,82 and indicates that natural rubber commodities have a high comparative advantage (above the world average).

Abstract

Title:Capacity Building for Mina Mandiri Business Through Marketing Training of Fish Processed ProductsThe income earned from the main job as a rice farmer has not been able to meet the needs of a farmer family in Sindumartani Village, Ngemplak, Sleman. Residents use some of the land for tilapia farming. Tilapia aquaculture business has not provided significant additional revenue. Farmers market fresh fish with simple techniques (conventional) with a limited scope. Mina Mandiri Fish Farmers Group is required to be more creative in setting marketing strategies so that their products are better known, interested in consumers and reach a wider market. Farmer groups need marketing training to increase their business capacity. Market efforts by combining offline strategies and online strategies. This service is carried out in order to provide marketing training. The existence of this marketing training provides the right marketing knowledge for fish processed products, so that it can increase the marketing area and increase the group's business capacity.

Abstract

Di pasar Malaysia, biji kakao Indonesia bersaing dengan biji kakao dari negara-negara di Afrika Barat yang memiliki standar kualitas yang tinggi dan lebih disukai oleh konsumen. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui nilai ekspor, produksi, produktivitas kakao, posisi perdagangan dan daya saing biji kakao Indonesia dengan pesaingnya di negara-negara Afrika Barat (Pantai Gading, Ghana, dan Nigeria). Metode penelitian ini menggunakan Trade Specialization Index (TSI), Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA), Export Product Dynamics (EPD), dan X-Model. Data yang digunakan adalah dari tahun 2000 - 2020. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa posisi perdagangan biji kakao di Indonesia, Pantai Gading, dan Ghana berada pada posisi pertumbuhan ekspor (nilai TSI meningkat antara 0-1). Sementara itu, Nigeria berada pada posisi kematangan ekspor (nilai ISP menurun antara 0 - 1). Rata-rata indeks RCA biji kakao: a). Indonesia = 3,92 ; b). Pantai Gading = 1,44; c). Ghana = 7,28; dan d). Nigeria = 173,13. Berdasarkan hasil EPD, Indonesia berada di posisi Lost Oppurtunity, Pantai Gading di posisi Falling Star, Ghana di posisi Retreat, dan Nigeria di posisi Rising Star.
