One important integral part of the production process in the industry is the provision of infrastructure facilities,one of which is the provision of electricity. The availability of electric power in most industries are relying onsupply of electricity, although there are also some others have their own power generators, good only used forpeak load or for emergencies, where the supply of electricity from PLN was having blackouts.The problems that arise in every use of electricity, both of which use the supply of electricity from PLN as wellas those of his own generation is efficiency. Definition of efficiency is the ratio between the costs incurred by theresults obtained. At every company must always stressed the importance of efficient, including in terms ofelectrical power consumption.Menurut guidelines for the implementation and monitoring of energy conversionin the Ministry of National Education, Energy Consumption Intensity values obtained (IKE) that electricityconsumption amounted to 4.17 up to 7.92 KWh / m2 / month very efficient Meanwhile, when power consumptionreaches 23.75 up to 37.5 KWh / m2 / month including a very wasteful.To achieve a high level of efficiency, somethings can be done, such as by replacing the electrical appliances are wasteful use of electricity, installingcapacitors at the load circuit, and perform load management usage settings.Keywords: efficiency, electric power, industry

Pemasangan transformator 1 fasa secara bank pada Jaringan Tegangan Rendah merupakan salah satu penyebab susut teknis yang besar bagi jaringan listrik, karena dengan pemasangan transformator secara bank maka arus pada netral transformator meningkat. Arus pada netral transformator ini merupakan salah satu penyebab susut teknis pada proses penyaluran energi listrik. Salah satu langkah yang dapat diambil adalah penormalan transformator bank. Dengan penormalan ini maka beban pada transformator akan terbagi menjadi 2 line dan diusahakan mendekati keadaan seimbang. Ketika transformator mendekati keadaan seimbang maka arus pada netral transformator akan berkurang dan susut yang dialami juga dapat diminimalisir. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kinerja transformator bank dengan membuat simulatornya.Simulator yang digunakan untuk penormalan transformator bank adalah rangkaian simulator jaringan menggunakan transformator Step Down dan Software Visual Basic Aplication Microsoft Excel untuk menghitung susut yang dialami. Hasil yang dipertoleh adalah setelah dilakukan penormalan didapatkan hasil bahwa susut dapat berkurang dari 8,13% menjadi 0,000163% pada pemodelan kondisi eksisting dan 19% pada simulator. Electricity has become a daily necessity in the community both social, economic and business. Therefore electricity is needed every day and it is the reliability of PLN. To fulfill such reliability While the reliability of electrical energy should be followed by inspection on the equipment used. PLN field employees themselves who every day always do inspection on the network of all the repeaters, so that field officers always know the state of the network in the field. If the network looks bad or requires maintenance it will be scheduled to do the job. Before the holding of the work it will be done in the first outage area is to operate the switching tool didaerah area. The switching tools are ABSW and LBS. After all the swithing tools are operated the workers always do the grounding first on the three phases by using ground clusters at the starting point to the end of the work where if transmitted so called PMS ground. This is done as a safety because the LBS switching tool is closed so that workers are not sure if the network has been extinguished and as a safety if LBS failed to work or failure. But here the worker himself sometimes still not sure whether the ground cluster is already installed properly or not. And as a safeguard against the occurrence of any maneuvering done by employees from the office Rayon. Therefore the author wants to make a prototype to detect whether grounding is installed properly or not in every phase. The prototype uses Arduino mega as its micron and uses a voltage sensor to find out the value of the voltage. If the ground claster is installed and work fails on LBS then the OCR relay will work and PMT will trip. With the prototype is expected to improve security in the work and minimize the occurrence of work accidents. Agustin Anarwati, Iman Setiono, today human life is very rapidly developing, one of them in the field of technology as time advances. This requires the creation of ideas to make a variety of equipment that is more practical and more reliable in meeting needs. In the industrial world today, most equipment uses PLC as a controller for various existing equipment, while the Human Machine Interface (HMI) is used to simplify monitoring existing equipment. In the automotive world, the power windows system is part of the body's electrical circuit which aims to make it easier for motorists to operate car windows. The driver can adjust the work of the power windows through a switch. When the driver presses the switch then the motor power window will rotate and will make the window work both open and close. The type of motor used in the power window system is a DC motor. One of the features of this DC motor is its speed can be controlled easily. In this case, I tried to make the design of the monitoring device setting the DC power speed of the windows power using PLC and HMI as monitors and controllers for operating the DC power windows rotating speed to make it easier, the speed can be adjusted through the output voltage from the PLC to the driver, starting from 0 VDC up to 5 VDC. if the voltage is 5 VDC then the motor will rotate with a maximum speed of 100%, whereas if given a 2.5 VDC input, the motor speed will be half of the 5 VDC rotational speed.

Tafki Aunika Fariz Alfitri, Iman Setiono, in this paper explain that at this time human life has become more advanced especially in the field of science and technology, all people compete to create technology that is useful and easy for humans. At present the equipment in general has used a remote monitoring and operation system. This system usually uses a microcontroller or PLC as a control. In an effort to facilitate human work, in this case I tried to make a design setting the direction of rotation of the DC power windows. This DC power windows motor is usually used in the car to move the windshield up and down. This Windows power DC motor uses a power supply of 12 volt DC and the output is between 0-5 Volt. This design uses Panasonic PLC as its main control. By using the relay as a reverse rotation setting and forward DC power windows, the motor will automatically move in reverse and forward. The input of a 24 Volt DC panasonic PLC originating from the adapter. The design of this tool can later be applied to a glass in the car by using the Panasonic PLC as its control and other component components needed in the design of the rotary direction arrangement. Dista Yoel Tadeus, Iman Setiono, in this paper explain that temperature regulation is one of the most important needs for the industry. Lots of processes and production are carried out under certain temperature conditions and free from interference. Industrial temperature controller is one of the basic equipment to meet these needs. On the market there are various types, specifications, and brands of temperature controllers, but have similarities with one another mainly lies in the basic functions of temperature regulation capabilities. Device for controlling liquid/water level using the floatless method uses the character of liquid conductivity as an electric current carrying medium. Excitation voltage is generated by the controller and passed to the electrode through an insulated conductor cable. The electrode is submerged in a tank or liquid storage vessel and directly becomes the lower limit and upper limit of the liquid level. Omron 61F is one of the industry-standard floatless control devices that is simple, compact and relatively inexpensive and easily available on the market. Some applications for controlling liquid levels such as water supply and drainage can be done easily and simple wiring. Omron 61F provides a variety of controller types that are tailored to the application conditions and the type of liquid used, ranging from purified clean water, dirty water, salt water, to several types of acidic liquids.

Iman Setiono, Dista Yoel Tadeus, in this paper explain that physics is a branch of behavior and experimental studies. In studying the nature, physics uses mathematical language to model natural phenomena in a mathematical context. In physics research, mathematical abilities are needed as student’s initial abilities in solving Physics problems. This study aims to study the relationship between courses in applied physics and courses that are the basis of developing competencies. The method used is the method of documentation and analysis using quantitative descriptive. The object of this study was students for physics subjects from student learning outcomes of student KHS grades. Anggi Permana, Iman Setiono, in this paper explain that along with the development of modern times. Technological advancements were increasingly found in manufacturing products, everything was done to be easy and practical. These products are made with the aim of helping human work. However, not all manufacturing products are automated. Some products still work manually. Therefore, we are required to be able to innovate by changing the manual process with a more efficient method by using products that are automatic. One tool is the roasting machine for coffee beans. Currently on the market it is rare for automatic coffee roasters to be designed. Most coffee roasters are done manually, use hand mixers, and use wood stoves or gas stoves. This situation becomes less efficient where the roasting is still using the hands, causing it to ripen evenly and burn. Though to get the right coffee is from the roasting process. Roasting determines the color and variety of flavors of coffee to be consumed. The effect of temperature and time also affects the results of roasting, even when roasting here we monitor the thickness of coffee beans. to produce good roasting. The principle is to give the right amount of time and the right temperature so that coffee will not only have a fragrant aroma but also create the right taste. To solve the problem, in this article we made coffee bean roasters. This coffee bean roasting system is based on Arduino MEGA type 2560. The roasting process uses the mlx90614 sensor and DHT11 sensor to monitor the moisture of coffee beans that will be displayed on the 7-segment. The heating media used is using heat elements instead of stoves. This tool is able to roast as much as 400 grams of coffee. Adella Wulan Septiana, Iman Setiono in this paper explain that Three phase electricity is widely used in large and home industries. However, not all industries or electricity users can enjoy three-phase resources because the installation is quite expensive. So that the use of a single phase to three phase electric converter is needed. One alternative that can be done is by making an inverter. The inverter is a hardware device that functions to convert direct current (DC) voltage into alternating current (AC) voltage. From the 220 VAC voltage enter the step up transformer then to the rectifier circuit so that the voltage generated is 380V. Then IC 555 is used as a box wave generator with a frequency output of 322.7 Hz. Then the output goes into the IC 74175 flip-flop circuit as a phase shift that produces three outputs, where each output has a high and low value with a frequency of 53.8 Hz.
