Abstract

The prediction of river water discharge can be determined by developing a river water discharge model based on climate information, especially rainfall information. This research aims to obtain a simulation of rainfall data that will be used to river water discharge modeling. The simulation of rainfall data is obtained using statistical downscaling model which develop the functional model between global climate data and local climate data. Daily precipitation of General Circulation Model (GCM) is used to be predictor variables. It is global climate data.. And, daily rainfall of Jangkok watershed, the local climate data, is used to be response variable.. In order to reduce the dimension of GCM global data, GCM data is projected to a litle number of  variable using classification and regression tree (CART) method. Then, the projection variables are used to develop statistical downscaling model of rainfall based on Kernel nonparametric regression. Daily rainfall data of Jurang Malang station, Jangkok watershed, is simulated based on the model obtained.

Abstract

In the current era of technology, the internet provides many conveniences for our daily lives. There are no limitations in accessing the internet, we can even search for information that we do not know through the internet. One of them is by using an electronic dictionary. By using the electronic dictionary the user only needs to enter a keyword and the machine will search for the appropriate data. But when the user finishes entering the word in the search engine, the word is not necessarily found, this makes the electronic dictionary less than optimal in terms of time usage. Therefore, we use the autocomplete feature with the trie data structure and the dfs algorithm in order to shorten the time the user is typing a word, where this feature will display a list of words that the user might mean without having to type the word in full.

Abstract

In the game there are rules for each game. The rules are made as a challenge to achieve victory. To achieve victory requires analysis of the right algorithm in making decisions. Minimax is one of the best decision-making algorithms to be applied in a game. The time complexity of the minimax algorithm is O(b^m) which b is the branching and m is the depth.

Abstract

The digital transformation era and technological advancements demand rapid adaptability from human resources, including the increasingly important utilization of data science across various industries. Statistics, as a core component of data science, plays a crucial role in transforming data into valuable information for decision-making. Considering the significance of statistical analysis, this skill has become one of the most sought-after in today's industrial world, especially for the younger generation, such as high school students, who will become agents of change in the future. Community service activities at SMA Negeri 1 Gunungsari, Lombok Barat, aim to enhance students understanding of the role of statistics in the digital transformation era. These activities include raising awareness about the importance of statistics in career choices and the application of statistical tools in digital contexts. Furthermore, the material delivered also covers how statistics can be used as a tool to address future industrial challenges. The evaluation of this activity shows an increase in students understanding, as evidenced by the post-test results, which show significant improvement compared to the pre-test. This demonstrates that raising awareness about statistics is effective in equipping students with relevant skills in the digital era. Therefore, similar activities are expected to be implemented in other schools to strengthen students readiness to utilize statistics as agents of change in the digital transformation era.

Abstract

South Lembar Village has very promising tourism potential, both in terms of natural beauty, cultural richness, and unique ecotourism such as Cemare Beach, the Sacred Tomb, and the Mangrove Forest area. However, the utilization of this potential has not been optimal due to low awareness among the community and village officials regarding the importance of data in tourism management and development. Additionally, limited technical capabilities in data collection and analysis also pose an obstacle to creating effective and sustainable tourism promotion and development strategies. Based on this urgency, this service activity aims to increase community and village government awareness and capacity in building a simple, participatory, and sustainable tourism data collection system, thru the DEWI CANTIK or Desa Wisata Cinta Data Statistik concept approach. The methods used include socializing the importance of data, providing technical training for village officials and tourism awareness groups, assisting with the use of simple software for data management, forming village data working groups, and developing standard operating procedures for tourism data management. All stages are carried out collaboratively and adapted to local conditions. The targeted outcomes of this activity include increased data literacy among the community, the formation of a Village Data Working Group as tourism information managers, the development of standard operating procedures for the village tourism data collection system, and the availability of data that can be used for more targeted and evidence-based tourism planning and promotion. With this program, it is hoped that Lembar Selatan Village can become a model for independent, innovative, and sustainable data-based tourism villages.

Abstract

Kurir pengiriman barang mengirimkan banyak barang ke berbagai tempat setiap harinya. Maka dari itu, para kurir tersebut perlu menemukan jalur terpendek dari antar lokasi yang ditujunya. Hal itu demi menghemat waktu, tenaga dan juga biaya yang digunakannya. Algoritma A* adalah salah satu metode yang biasa digunakan dalam mecari jalur terpendek. Dengan menggunakan metode ini, diharapkan kurir pengiriman barang akan lebih mudah dalam mencari jalur terpendek ketika mengirimkan barang.
