The art of Balinese dance can be classified into three groups, namely: Wali Dance, which is the art of dance that is performed in temples and in places that have something to do with religious ceremonies that function as means or implementers of religious ceremonies. Bebali dance, which is a dance that functions as an accompaniment to ceremonies and ceremonies that take place in a temple or outside a temple which in its performance uses a play, Balih-balihan Dance, which is all dance arts that have elements and the basis of noble dance arts. Every region in Bali has different artistic traditions, both in terms of the type of art and its meaning. Art traditions in each region in Bali have their own uniqueness which is always preserved because the life of a work of art, whether in the form of dance or drama, is closely related to the life of religious ceremonies. One of the very unique traditions in Bali, especially in the Sekumpul Village, is the performance of the Kidang Edan Dance which is held during the pujawali religious ceremony. In addition to the Kidang Edan Dance, it is a sacred dance that is believed from generation to generation by the people of the Sekumpul Village. Kidang Edan Dance is manifested as a form of gratitude to Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa for the gift given to the people of Sekumpul Village.

Humans as special beings created by God Almighty, have the potential that is not possessed by other creatures. With the potential of spirit, soul, and reason, humans are capable of becoming more noble beings than other creatures. Every activity of human life, the application of thinking is very necessary and will ultimately determine the results achieved. philosophy is a discipline that requires reflection and systematic systematic thinking by actively using intellect and reason, so philosophy is a good tool for understanding how to think. Socrates was one of the most famous philosophers throughout the history of philosophy. In this article, we will explain how the teachings of Socrates are related to the teachings of Hinduism which basically includes (1) tattwa; (2) ethics; (3) ritual / ceremony. Besides that, the core of the Socratic teachings is about ethics, namely glory or virtue, wisdom (wiweka) and leadership, to achieve the highest goal of human life, namely to make his soul as good as possible or happiness (eudaimonia) through the path of knowledge. The leadership he teaches cannot be separated from ethics. Socrates disagreed with the election of the leader with the most votes despite succeeding in building the economy but in his opinion the leader must be able to make his country in good condition. So that it can be said what was thought of Socrates in line with the teachings of Hinduism.

Abstract

Applied in terms of worshiping him remains the same. God in Hinduism manifests in many forms, specifically in this article is Lord Gaṇeśa. The Hindu community in Bali is currently trending to install Dewa Gaṇeśa within the scope of the house, because Dewa Ganesa is considered the ruler of obstacles, so no Hindu ceremony or worship can be carried out without adoration without worshiping Lord Ganeśa first. To produce valid and reliable data, this research uses qualitative research methods. To produce data that is logical, this study carried out several stages of data sorting in the form of: 1). Reducing data, 2). Display data, 3). Verifying data and, 4). Interpreting research data. Related references greatly support the validity of a scientific work, therefore library techniques are also used through a literature survey on Google Scholar. The community's understanding of Dewa Gaṇeśa in Buleleng Regency is low due to the typology of the people who do not explore enough knowledge about what is worshiped and what is Dewa Gaṇeśa and who is Dewa Gaṇeśa. People are still influenced by the feeling of being involved in and influenced by films about Dewa Ganeśa and do not know the full and correct meaning of the statue, its shape, position. The statue of Dewa Ganeśa is a unification of the concepts of cetana and acetana, purusha and prakerti, ardanareswari and ardanareswara aiming to simplify as well as save the ceremony process and not take up much time.
