Abstract

The use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is a very important role in occupational health and safety, especially safety helmets that can minimize the impact of falling small and large objects, besides safety helmets, masks are no less important to prevent dust and small particles from entering the respiratory tract. To ensure that field workers wear PPE, especially safety helmets and masks, a system is needed that can automatically check workers before entering the work area. This research aims to find out how to create an AI model to detect safety helmets and masks using the You Only Look Once version 5 (YOLOv5) method and find out how much accuracy, besides that the purpose of this research is to find out how to make an indicator system using a microcontroller with result from YOLOv5. After experimenting with the tools made, YOLOv5 successfully detected safety helmets and masks with an mAP50 value of 0.995 and F1-score of 0.997 and ESP32 successfully provided indicators with a success value of 100% from 20 trials.

Abstract

Arisan is an activity that is usually carried out by housewives where each member will donate money and at each meeting there will be a lottery to hand over the money that has been collected to one of the lucky members. Usually, arisan is done regularly and offline. However, since the pandemic in 2020, many people have started doing arisan online. With the rise of arisan online activities, there are many cases of fraud with a large amount of loss and of course it cannot be ignored. Based on these problems, a platform is needed to conduct arisan online that can prevent fraud cases. This container will be made in the form of a decentralized application by utilizing blockchain technology in this case this article utilizes smart contracts on the Binance Smart Chain to ensure that after this application is published, no party will be able to make changes to the data or functions of this application to minimize frauds.

Abstract

In the era of technological advancement, the utilization of Chatbots for food and beverage menu ordering through the Telegram Bot platform emerges as an intriguing alternative to enhance customer experiences in the Food and Beverage industry. This research aims to analyze user satisfaction with the Chatbot implementation using the Heuristic method. In this implementation, the Chatbot is supported by Natural Language Processing (NLP) with a focus on customer satisfaction analysis. The Heuristic method serves as the primary evaluation tool to measure aspects such as service speed, user-friendliness, and information clarity. Analysis results reveal positive user responses to the Chatbot, indicating a high level of satisfaction in system usage. These findings support the notion that employing Chatbots with the Heuristic method can deliver a satisfying experience for customers in food and beverage menu ordering. Practical implications of this research can assist restaurants in enhancing service and efficiency through Chatbot implementation that considers user satisfaction aspects measured by the Heuristic method.

Abstract

This study analyzes the use of Laravel structure in improving Internet of Thing IoT-based Smart Street Lighting software. This research applies the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology approach with the waterfall method. The IoT Smart Street Lighting system is the focus in an effort to improve the efficiency of public street lighting. This methodology merger applies the Laravel structure in software development with structured steps. The vetting process begins with defining requirements, user interface (UI) plans, and data management. The execution stage involves applying Laravel for programming as per the framework's prerequisites. Thorough testing ensures functionality, security, and optimal execution. This approach enhances future development capabilities and program quality by combining Laravel technicalities and the waterfall approach, making the Intelligent Street Lighting System more responsive, robust, and efficient based on weather data.

Abstract

The problems with traffic in many big cities is congestion. Detection and tracking of vehicles in traffic light queues is an important aspect of an efficient urban transport system. This research introduces a combined model that combines the YOLO (You Only Look Once) version 5 algorithm or commonly called YOLOv5, a high-speed object detection approach, with the SORT (Simple Online and Realtime Tracking) algorithm to efficiently detect and track vehicles. The method was tested using a dataset of real traffic recordings and the results showed excellent performance in detecting and tracking vehicles, with sufficient accuracy and speed for urban traffic applications. Using this approach, vehicle detection and tracking systems can improve traffic safety and optimize vehicle flow at road intersections.

Abstract

The evaluation process of information technology governance can be conducted using the domains within the COBIT 5 and ITIL V3 2011 frameworks. In this research, The process of evaluation was discussed to ensure the efficient functioning of information technology governance at PT. Bali Unggul Sejahtera using several domains from the COBIT 5 and ITIL V3 2011 frameworks. The aim of this research is to identify issues in the governance and information technology services at PT. Bali Unggul Sejahtera, determine the maturity level of IT processes using relevant domains from the COBIT 5 and ITIL V3 2011 frameworks through Gap Analysis and establish recommendations for activities as a reference for future improvements. In the COBIT 5 framework, researchers use sub-domains APO12, DSS01 and DSS05. In the ITIL V3 2011 framework, researchers use sub-domains Service Design 4.7, Service Operation 4.1 and Service Operation 6.2.1.3. The results of this research, The APO12 sub-domain COBIT 5 framework is currently at maturity level 3, the DSS01 and DSS05 sub-domains are currently at maturity level 4. In the ITIL V3 2011 framework, the sub-domains Service Design 4.7, Service Operation 4.1 and Service Operation 6.2.1.3 are currently at maturity level 4.). The results of this evaluation serve as recommendations for activities aimed at achieving the desired maturity level of 5 (Optimized).

Abstract

Keberadaan gardu induk dalam sistem tenaga listrik mutlak diperlukan. Gardu induk sendiri merupakan suatu instalasi yang terdiri dari peralatan listrik yang berfungsi untuk mengubah daya listrik tegangan tinggi menjadi tegangan tinggi atau tegangan menengah lainnya. Untuk mendukung kelancaran penyediaan tenaga listrik dan menjamin kontinuitas kelistrikan, kemampuan peralatan yang ada di gardu induk sangat perlu mendapat perhatian khusus, seperti pengawasan dan perawatan secara berkala. Misalnya saja di Gardu Induk Nusa Dua yang lokasinya dekat dengan pantai dan hutan mangrove, banyak terdapat burung-burung liar yang berkeliaran dan mencari makan atau bahkan membuat sarang di area Gardu Induk Nusa Dua. Keberadaan burung-burung liar tersebut tentu dapat mengganggu operasional gardu induk, seperti membuang kotoran dan membuat sarang di peralatan listrik gardu induk. Burung-burung liar tersebut akan hinggap di peralatan yang ada di gardu induk dan tidak jarang juga akan membuang kotoran di peralatan yang dihinggapinya. Kotoran yang tidak dibersihkan lama-kelamaan akan mengeras dan dapat menimbulkan gangguan berupa titik api dan korsleting pada peralatan. Gangguan hotspot dan arus pendek pada gardu induk merupakan kendala yang tidak diinginkan oleh penyedia listrik dalam mengoperasikan sistem kelistrikannya. Maka dari itu kelompok kami berencana untuk membuat sebuah prototipe yang dapat memancarkan gelombang suara dengan frekuensi yang tidak disukai burung dengan memanfaatkan IoT dan sinar matahari sebagai sumber tenaganya. Dengan begitu, alat ini dapat dioperasikan melalui internet dan memiliki sumber energi sendiri, sehingga dapat dioperasikan dengan mudah dan dapat ditempatkan di tempat yang sulit dijangkau tanpa memerlukan perawatan yang berarti.

Abstract

Catfish farming faces challenges in consistently monitoring pond conditions. This study aims to design and develop an Android application connected to Firebase services to support pond condition monitoring based on an Internet of Things system. The application enables users to view sensor data via a mobile interface and store observation history using two database services: Realtime Database and Firestore. The development process applied software modeling, and the system was tested using the blackbox method. The results show that the application successfully displays data, records history, and responds to user input as expected. These findings indicate that the developed system can serve as a digital solution to support integrated pond monitoring through mobile devices.
