University of Bengkulu is a communal area located on the west coast of Sumatra. The main water sources to support activities at UNIB come from shallow wells (dug) and deep wells (drilled). This study aims to analyze the physical and chemical parameters of dug and bore water wells in the environment of UNIB’s campus. Water quality testing for dug and bore wells includes several treatments. Water quality analysis using the Indonesian National Standard method. The results of water quality testing for dug and bore wells founded several physical and chemical parameters exceeding Class II water quality standards. The results of the testing of the quality of water in the TSS 1 dug well had exceeded the quality standard. The results of testing the quality of dug wells 1, 2, 3 and 4 pH and phosphate parameters had exceeded the quality standard. The results of testing the quality of dug 2 meter wells dug DHL had exceeded the quality standard. The results of the testing of the quality of water in a borehole 1 phosphate parameter had exceeded the quality standard. The results of water quality testing for boreholes 2 and 3 Fe parameters had exceeded the quality standard. Dug and bore well water sources in the UNIB environment can be used for drinking water, drinking freshwater fish, livestock, irrigating crops, and / or other purposes that require the same water quality as these uses. Abtract: Bengkulu University Hospital (UNIB Hospital) in the current time, the building has not been built physically. From the location of the building footprint and the fairly dense circulation path, we found problems in the form of an inappropriate accessibility pattern to be used as the main access route to enter the hospital area. The purpose of the study was to obtain data on the condition of the circulation path around the construction site of the UNIB Hospital. The approach consists of regional data collection and analysis using the concept of accessibility. Data analysis begins by examining the condition of vehicle circulation around the site and surrounding buildings and analyzing accessibility with the software space syntax. The results showed that 98% of respondents thought this area needed to reorganize. The results of the analysis of software space syntax on micro-accessibility in the UNIB Hospital area along the main route in front of the site, the integration value is high with a red view. In the current vehicle path surrounding the site, the integration value is knowing the yellow color. The behind area has a low integration value with a green color update. Mainline connectivity in front of the tread is high with red color options. Several connectivity lines in the site area have a blue color pattern with low connectivity.Abstrak: Rumah Sakit Universitas Bengkulu (RS UNIB) Kondisi saat ini, bentuk fisik bangunan dan kawasan belum dibangun. Ditinjau dari lokasi tapak bangunan dan jalur sirkulasi yang cukup padat, ditemukan permasalahan berupa pola aksesibilitas yang belum tepat untuk digunakan sebagai akses jalur utama untuk masuk ke dalam kawasan rumah sakit. Tujuan penelitian adalah mendapatkan data terukur kondisi jalur sirkulasi di sekitar lokasi pembangunan RS UNIB. Pendekatan penelitian terdiri dari pengumpulan data kawasan dan analisis dengan menggunakan konsep aksesbilitas. Analisis data dimulai dengan menelaah kondisi sirkulasi kendaraan disekitar tapak dan bangunan sekitar serta analisis aksesbilitas dengan software space syntax. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebanyak 98% reponden berpendapat kawasan yang akan dibangun RS UNIB perlu ditata kembali. Hasil analisis software space syntax terhadap aksesbilitas mikro pada kawasan RS UNIB di sepanjang jalur utama di depan tapak, nilai integrasi adalah tinggi dengan identifikasi warna merah. Pada jalur kendaraan eksisting yang mengelilingi site, nilai integrasi adalah sedang dengan identifikasi warna kuning. Area belakang kawasan memiliki nilai integrasi rendah dengan identifikasi warna hijau. Konektifitas jalur utama di depan tapak adalah tinggi dengan identifikasi warna merah. Beberapa jalur konektifitas di kawasan tapak memiliki identifikasi corak warna biru dengan konektifitas yang rendah.

Parking on the road body is one of the causes of traffic congestion, therefore the handling of parking on the road becomes very important and has a positive impact on solving traffic congestion problems. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of parking vehicles on the road body on the performance of the Mahoni Street in Bengkulu City. Data collection methods and techniques include road geometric surveys, traffic volume surveys, side barriers and speed surveys. To get the data in this study is done by recording the state of the road and calculating the number of vehicles that cross the road through the recording.Data generated at peak hours in the form of a capacity of 1544,076 smp/hour traffic volume of 1281.2 sm / hour with a degree of saturation of 0.83 is at the level ofservice D which means approaching an unstable current, low speed. DS value is above the degree of saturation required by MKJI, namely DS <0.75. It is necessary to do alternative countermeasures by moving the parkinglocated on Mahoni Street resulting in a capacity of 2218.5 smp/hour and a saturation degree of 0.50 with level ofservice C which means that the current is stable and the speed is controlled by traffic.

The objective of this research examining stability and flow value was to investigate the impact of the utility of iron fillings waste as a subtitute material for the number of suprisingly small aggregates in the mixture of asphalt. In this research, the portion of iron filings waste which given were 5 %, 10 % and 15 % of the heavy mixture smooth aggregates. The stability quantitative value was 2093 kg in 15 % iron filings contents. The higest flow quantitative value was 3,5 mm in 5 % iron filings contents. The result of characteristic validation Marshall on the number of subtituted smooth aggregates which used iron filings gave a standard coefficient specification BM.2005. So based on that, the iron fillings waste technically could be received as a subtitute material for the mixture of suprisingly small aggregates.

As one of the cities on the west coast of Sumatra Island is located in an active seismic lines, causing Bengkulu city into an area that has the potential for an earthquake. This allows also the potential danger of liquefaction when the earthquake occurred. One of the areas in Bengkulu city is the pathway through which the village Lempuing. This study aimed to analyze the potential for liquefaction at the Village Lempuing using probabilistic methods simplified procedure. Probability model used is the probability model developed by Haldar and Tang (1979). The data collected from the results of the geotechnical investigation sondir 6 point spread in the Village Lempuing. Soil resistance parameters in this analysis are based on test data sondir or Cone Penetration Test (CPT). Shear wave velocity data obtained from the correlation of the data CPT Vs. Seismic load parameters used were obtained from the Indonesian Earthquake Zoning Map of 2010 and the seismic history of the city of Bengkulu. The analysis shows the level of probability of liquefaction hazards at the study site is close to 100%. This suggests that the study site has great potential for liquefaction hazards occur when an earthquake occurs.

RI Act No. 22 of 2009 states that on the intersection traffic light drivers are prohibited from turning left immediately, unless specified otherwise by traffic signs. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the ‘left turn on red’ signal and its effect on the capacity of Simpang Lima Bengkulu city.The results showed that in terms of the degree of saturation, the capacity of Simpang Lima Bengkulu city at Soeprapto roads site is better whenever it is applied the left turn on red signal. It is necessary to evaluate the traffic light settings on Simpang Lima Bengkulu City because the degree of saturation has exceeded the tolerance limits suggested byMKJI 1997.

The level of unevenness of the road is a parameter that is often used to measure the roughness of a road segment. The tools and methods used are named NAASRA. The NAASRA tool produces IRI values which then used to classifiedwith road condition according to Binamarga 2005. The purpose of this research is to test the value of road unevenness (IRI), to test the level of road stability, and to arrange the handling needs on Betungan-Padang Serai road. The results show that the Betungan-Padang Serai roads have good roads along 4150 m (75%), medium conditions along 400m (7%), minor damage conditions along 500m (9%), and severe damage conditions of 500 m (9%). The result of road stability test shows that steady road condition is 4550 m (82%) and unsteady road is 1000 m (18%). Routine maintenance is required for 4150 m (75%), major and minor rehabilitation of 400 m (7%), and 1000 m (18%) reconstruction.

This research aims to analyze the capacity of resources support the land and give information to the public about the value of the power capacity of the soil to support a shallow Foundation in the area of the coast of the city of Bengkulu. This research analyzes the power capacity in support of land the formula Meyerhoft. The data used in the form of the data of sondir, physical soil test and deploy as many as 100 questionnaire respondents. The results of the questionnaire show that the widely used building Foundation community is kind of shallow Foundation with this type of Foundation is constantly mates stone times. The dimensions of the foundation gained as much as 8 type with the dominant dimension, namely 20/40 cm and 50 cm high with a total of as much as 28%. The sieve analysis test results show that land on the coast is poorlygraded sand, gravel sand, with little fine grain. The value of the smallest land grant support power worth 0.875 kg/cm2 with dimensions Foundation 30/50 cm high 40 cm in Kelurahan of Malabero. The value of the power of the highest land grant support totaling 5.358 kg/cm2 with the dimensions of the Foundation 20/40 cm height 50 cm in Kelurahan of Lempuing. Based on the results of the analysis of the soil indicate that support power rating power support land grant still capable to shoulder the burden of building on it. The value of the resource support land grant obtained from the sondir data value is equal to the value soil permit support power conversion results to SPT.

This study aimed to identify the type and weight of vehicles that pass roads in Bengkulu through surveys at weigh stations Air Sebakul Bengkulu. The study was conducted because of indications of cargo transport vehicles, exceeding the permitted capacity of roads in Bengkulu Province. The study methods was done byfield survey. The results showed that 98.71% of vehicles that pass through weigh stations Air Sebakul Bengkulu is a type of vehicle two aces. 95% of heavy vehicles passing through roads in Bengkulu exceed the heaviest load axis (MTS), which allowed when applying zero tonnage and 77% of vehicles exceeding the permitted MTS when applying the tolerance to 50%.
