Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the application of chitosan on fresh tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) products as a natural preservative that can maintain the condition of fish with a longer shelf life. The method used in this study was experimental with three treatments, namely control treatment, 1% chitosan coating, and 1.5% chitosan coating. Data analysis was carried out through organoleptic tests with four parameters: color, aroma, texture, and taste of the tested tilapia. Observations were made for three consecutive days. The results showed that tilapia with 1.5% chitosan coating had better organoleptic parameter values than the other two test treatments. In conclusion, 1.5% of chitosan maintained the quality of tilapia with a longer shelf life. Keywords: Durability, Tilapia, Chitosan, Organoleptic

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the increase in students' learning outcomes of geometry material at MTs Nuris Jember used a problem-based learning model. This type of research was classroom action research with a model design consisting of four steps: planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. Data collection techniques used tests and observations. The instruments used essay questions and checklists of student activities in class. Thirty students of class VII at MTs Nuris Jember served as the subjects, and samples were collected using purposive random sampling. In this study, descriptive and inferential statistics were employed in the data analysis for this investigation. It could be seen from the research results that the initial condition of the average test score was 61.33, meaning that 30% of students had passed the learning in the pre-cycle. In standard Cycle I, the average test score was 66.83, and 47% of students had reached standard learning. In Cycle II, the average score of students' tests was 71.67, and 83% of students had reached the standard learning. The significance test results of the average value showed a significant difference in average test results between students' mathematics learning outcomes in Cycle I and Cycle II, with a significance value of 0.000, which is less than 0.05. Based on the observation result of students' activity in the second Cycle, the average observation result for students' activities was 79,45% in the good category and got an alphabet score of B.

Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil observasi di TK Nurus Saadah 03 disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan mengenal bentuk geometri di TK belum optimal. Faktanya, anak-anak sudah mampu mengidentifikasi benda-benda yang ada di sekitar sekolah seperti papan, bola, buku catatan, meja, piring atau perbedaan lainnya, namun masih belum mampu menyebutkan bentuk-bentuk geometris yang bentuknya mirip dengan benda-benda di sekitarnya yang serupa, seperti persegi panjang, kotak, lingkaran, dan lain-lain. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui hubungan linier positif antara permainan konstruktif dengan kemampuan mengenal bentuk geometri di TK Nurus Saadah 03. Jenis penelitiannya adalah penelitian korelasional dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Penentuan wilayah penelitian dan sampel penelitian menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, dengan sampel penelitian sebanyak 25 anak dengan kriteria usia 5-6 tahun. Observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi digunakan sebagai teknik pengumpulan data. Sedangkan teknik analisis data digunakan korelasi tata jenjang (rank spearman). Berdasarkan hasil analisis, diketahui nilai (0,667) dengan sig.r 0,000 kurang dari 0,05 serta nilai Z hitung sebesar 3, 268 lebih besar dari 1,960. Dengan demikian, ada korelasi/hubungan positif yang signifikan dalam kategori kuat antara permainan konstruktif dengan kemampuan mengenal bentuk geometri di TK Nurus Saadah 03 tahun pelajaran 2022/2023.

Abstract

Inovasi dan pembaharuan dalam memajukan pendidikan terus dilakukan seperti pada saat ini termasuk menerapkan nilai-nilai Pancasila dan kewarganegaraan. Profil pelajar Pancasila menjadi hal krusial dimana munculnya masalah terkait pengamalan nilai Pancasila yang berdampak pada jatuhnya karakter siswa. Dalam konteks pendidikan, pembelajaran dan pengembangan karakter pelajar Pancasila harus menjadi fokus utama untuk menciptakan generasi muda yang berkarakter Pancasila yang dapat dipupuk sejak pendidikan anak usia dini. Berdasarkan hal tersebut penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila pada pendidikan anak usia dini dengan tema gaya hidup berkelanjutan. Studi kasus dilakukan pada kelompok bermain Al Hikmah dimana metode pengambilan data yang dilakukan berupa observasi dan wawancara terstruktur bersama perwakilan guru dan siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan didapatkan hasil bahwa Guru telah menyisipkan nilai-nilai Pancasila dalam melakukan pembelajaran dengan tetap memerhatikan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi yang diajarkan. Pembelajaran berbasis projek pelajar Pancasila tema gaya hidup berkelanjutan berpengaruh terhadap perkembangan karakter siswa seperti karakter kreatif, karakter mandiri dan karakter gotong royong.

Abstract

Mathematics has an instrumental function in enhancing the quality of Indonesian citizens. However, as science and technology progress and the digital age intensifies, it has become imperative to modify the mathematical learning paradigm to align it with the demands of the 21st century. The research objectives were to ascertain the following: The study sought to answer three research questions(1) the difference in the improvement of mathematical critical thinking ability of students who are given problem-based learning with students who are given direct learning; (2) the interaction of learning with initial mathematics ability on the improvement of students' mathematical critical thinking ability; (3) the difference in the improvement of learning independence of students who are given problem-based learning with students who are given direct learning. The findings of the study can be summarized as follows: (1) students who received problem-based learning exhibited a greater improvement in their mathematical critical thinking abilities than those who received direct learning; (2) there was no interaction between learning and initial mathematical ability on the improvement of mathematical critical thinking abilities; (3) students who received problem-based learning demonstrated a greater improvement in their learning independence than those who received direct learning.
