Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk melihat perbedaan minat belajar matematika siswa kelas X SMA Swasta Tamansiswa Binjai dengan model pembelajaran daring dan pembelajaran luring pada masa pandemi CoVid-19. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan populasi penelitian yaitu seluruh siswa kelas X SMA Swasta Tamansiswa Binjai. Dengan teknik Random Sampling, diperoleh kelas X IPA-1 sebagai sampel penelitian dengan jumlah sampel 33 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket yang terdiri dari angket minat belajar matematika dengan pembelajaran daring dan pembelajaran luring yang telah dilakukan uji validasi instrumen. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan analytical survey. Setelah dilakukan penelitian, diperoleh presentase komulatif angket minat belajar dengan pembelajaran daring sebesar 67% dan presentase komulatif pada angket minat belajar dengan pembelajaran luring sebesar 75,7%. Dari hasil uji-t dua pihak disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara minat belajar matematika siswa kelas X SMA Swasta Tamansiswa Binjai dengan model pembelajaran daring dan model pembelajaran luring pada masa pandemi CoVid-19.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pengaruh model pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) terhadap kemampuan penalaran matematika siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan di MTs Al-Munawwarah Binjai Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017. Jenis Penelitian adalah penelitian quasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian Pretest Posttest Control Group Design. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas VII-2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan VII-3 sebagai kelas kontrol yang ditentukan melalui teknik Simple Random Sampling. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah 66 siswa terdiri dari siswa kelas eksperimen sebanyak 34 siswa dan siswa kelas kontrol sebanyak 32 siswa.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa model pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) sangat berpengaruh  terhadap kemampuan penalaran matematika siswa. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari nilai rata-rata posttests hasil tes kemampuan penalaran matematika siswa yang telah diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran CTL adalah sebesar 61,844 dan nilai rata-rata posttests yang telah diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran konvensional dengan metode ekspositori adalah 61,187 sehingga didapatkan bahwa model pembelajaran (CTL) memiliki pengaruh sebesar 70,56 %. Kesimpulan hasil penelitian ini adalah bahwa pembelajaran matematika dengan model pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan penalaran matematika siswa. Kata kunci      : Model Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL). Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using google classroom on the learning independence of Mathematics Education Study Program students during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study applies a quantitative method with a descriptive approach. The research was conducted on the number of mathematics education studens as many as 124 students. The design of this research is Nonequivalent Control group design. The instrument used is a questionnaire of self regulated learning. The results of this study showed that there is an effect of using google classroom on student’ self regulated learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. Therefore, it is recommended to the teachers can provide training on the use of google classroom before learning begins.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the answer process made by students in solving spatial ability questions through the Visualization Auditory Kinesthetic (VAK) learning model in the Covid-19 era. This type of research was conducted using a qualitative case study method on students' spatial abilities. The sample in this study was seventh-grade junior high school students from the purposive sampling technique and was taken by the initial screening results. The instruments used in data collection are observation and documentation. The results of this study indicate that spatial abilities through the Visualization Auditory Kinesthetic (VAK) learning model students can better understand the material because this model is better able to understand the material with their respective learning styles. The spatial ability consists of orientation, mental rotation, visualization, perception, relation, and disembedding. It turned out that many students answered correctly with a complete answer process on aspects of orientation, visualization, and perception. The rest on aspects of mental rotation, relation, and disembedding, there are still some students who have not answered correctly, and the answer process is complete. Therefore, it should be noted that aspects that cannot be answered correctly need improvements in the learning process or in questions that support aspects of mental rotation, relation, and disembedding spatial abilities to understand the geometry material better

Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between learning motivation and student learning outcomes at STKIP Cultivation Binjai during the covid-19 pandemic. The type of research used in this research is correlational research. The population of this study were all 35 students in the fifth semester of the Mathematics Education Study Program, STKIP Cultivation of Binjai, with a total sampling technique. The data collection technique used a questionnaire/questionnaire. There is a close relationship between learning motivation and student learning outcomes at STKIP Cultivation Binjai during the Covid-19 Pandemic, which can be seen from the results of student scores relating to learning that are still considered lacking because they still get scores of around 40% and above and some even get a score of 35%. while for the condition of lecturers in teaching, they have received a response of more than 50% and above. This is actually still not enough to increase students' learning motivation. In other words, lecturers have to work harder to increase students' learning motivation so that students get good results in learning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the students' mathematical communication skills on Social Arithmetic material for class VII SMP IT Islamilillah Simpang III Pangkalan Susu. This type of research is a descriptive quanittative research. This research was conducted at SMP IT Islamillah Simpang III Pangkalan Susu. The subjects of this study were students of class VII SMP IT Islamilillah Simpang III Pangkalan Susu with a total of 28 students. The object of this research is the mathematical communication ability of the seventh grade students of SMP IT Islamillah Simpang III Pangkalan Susu. Data collection techniques used are tests and interviews. Data analysis was carried out based on the results of tests and interviews referring to the criteria of mathematical communication skills using 6 levels of students' mathematical communication skills. The results showed that the mathematical communication skills of seventh grade students of SMP IT Islamillah on social arithmetic material were at the level of communication skills. This can be seen from the results of the 28 mathematical communication skills test in the low category there are 6 students at level 0 and 8 students at level 1. In the medium category there are 4 students at level 2 and 5 students at level 3. In the high category there are 3 students at level 3. level 4 and 2 students at level 5

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to increase the awareness of school principals and teachers and other school members towards a democratic and cooperative working system, as well as increase assistance to assist, increase the ambition of teachers to improve the quality of their services to the maximum in their professional fields (expertise), and develop a sense of oneness and unity between leaders and teachers. This type of research includes field research or qualitative methods. The research subjects used in this study were the principal and all teachers at MTs Raushan Fikri Islamic School. The instrument used by the researcher, in this case is the main instrument and the supporting instrument. while the main instrument is the human itself, the supporting instruments are the observation guide and interview guide. The data analysis technique used in this research is the descriptive technique which includes three procedures, namely: Data Reduction, Data Presentation, Conclusion Drawing/Verification. The results in this study are the leadership of the principal plays a strong role in the formation of the human qualities he leads to becoming the nation's next generation. The obstacle was found in the form of frequent changes to the curriculum, so the plans or programs that had been made had to be changed based on the current curriculum. The principal's effort in improving the quality of education at MTs Raushan Fikri Langkat is by holding a meeting or meeting with students and parents to jointly explain their educational program and presentation so that the response can support the success of quality improvement at MTs Raushan Fikri Islamic School Langkat this can be implemented and realized.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penggunaan model LAPS Heuristic terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah jenis penelitian eksperimen dengan pendekatan deskritif kuantitatif. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan Pre-Ekxperimental Desaing tipe one group pretest-posttest (tes awal-tes akhir kelompok tunggal). Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 26 siswa yang berada di kelas VII. Hasil persamaan regresi linier adalah  x, hasil dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa “ Terdapat pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran LAPS Heuristic terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa”.

Abstract

Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran problem solving terhadap kemandirian belajar siswa. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Swasta Tamansiswa Diski-Sunggal dan pemilihan sampel dilakukan secara acak dengan masing-masing jumlah siswa adalah 26 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dengan skala likert. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan uji regresi linier sederhana. Diperoleh hipotesis dengan taraf signifikan 5% adalah   > 0,388  maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima, dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan terdapat pengaruh antara model pembelajaran problem solving dan kemandirian belajar siswa

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui  disposisi matematis mahasiswa prodi pendidikan matematika STKIP Budidaya Binjai pada pembelajaran daring dimasa pandemi covid-19. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan populasi penelitian yaitu seluruh mahasiswa prodi pendidikan matematika  STKIP Budidaya Binjai. Dengan teknik Purposive Sampling, diperoleh sampel penelitian sebanyak 36 mahasiswa semester IX. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket, jenis angket yang digunakan adalah angket tertutup. Setelah dilakukan penelitian, diperoleh mean sebesar 65,09, nilai terendah (Minimum) 57,89, Nilai Yang Paling Banyak Muncul (Modus) 67,10 Dan Nilai tertingginya (maximum) adalah 75, dengan standar deviasinya adalah 4,24. Berdasarkan kriteria skor dengan menggunakan Penilaian Acuan Norma (PAN), disposisi matematis mahasiswa pada pembelajaran daring prodi pendidikan matematika STKIP Budidaya Binjai berada pada criteria sedang.
