Abstract

Nowadays, Indonesia still faces various problems related to the moral issues. Many cases occur in the society which should be solved by the educators, such as: corruption, collusion, and nepotism in all level of Indonesian governmental institutions, juvenile delinquency, and drugs.  To prevent those, the Indonesian government through education minister in 2010 established the 18 values of characters building. At school, this character building becomes the pivotal role in developing the characters of the students. This paper tries to describe how the teaching of Arabic done by implementing the values of the character building. The character building at SD Muhammadiyah Kleco is done by centralizing the role of teachers. The role of teachers in building the moral characters of the students is done by applying the principle role as teacher, such as: catalyst, row model, inspirer, motivator, dynamist, and evaluator. The teaching of Arabic skills,-listening (istima), speaking (kalam), reading (qiroah), and writing (kitabah)-, is done by implementing the moral character such as: religiosity, honesty, tolerance, independency, democratic, curiosity, friendship, social awareness, responsibility, discipline, environmental care, and appreciation.

Abstract

Abstract The discussion in this article aims to find out whether the development of learning media ta'bīr based on games Uno Stacko can improve learning outcomes of the eleventh-grade male science students in Madrasah Aliyah Ibnul Qoyyim. This research is included in the research and development research category which develops learning media ta'bīr based on the game Uno Stacko. Due to time constraints in the study, the research scope is limited to the aforementioned location. The results of the research in this article show: 1) the creation of the Arabic uno stacko game in ta‘bīr subject for the eleventh grade students at the Islamic high school. 2) the test results for the acceptance of the Uno Stacko is very positive, due to an increase in student learning outcomes. 3) there are some improvements from the experts who make the game Arabic Uno Stacko to meet the quality and standards of a good game. Keywords: Development, Learning Media, Uno Stacko Abstrak Pembahasan dalam artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tentang pengembangan media pembelajaran ta‘bīr berbasis permainan uno stacko dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar pada siswa kelas XI IPA Madrasah Aliyah Ibnul Qoyyim Putra. Penelitian ini masuk dalam ketegori penelitian research and development yang melakukan pengembangan media pembelajaran ta‘bīr berbasis permainan uno stacko. Adapun lokasi penelitian dalam artikel ini hanya terbatas di kelas XI IPA MA Ibnul Qoyyim Putra Yogyakarta sebagai satu-satunya lokasi penelitian, dikarenakan adanya keterbatasan waktu dalam penelitian. Hasil penelitian dalam artikel ini menunjukkan: 1) terciptanya permainan uno stacko arabic pada pelajaran ta‘bīr kelas XI IPA tingkat Madrasah Aliyah. 2) hasil uji coba untuk keberterimaan dari adanya media pembelajaran uno stacko ini sangat positif, disebabkan adanya peningkatan pada hasil belajar siswa. 3) adanya beberapa revisi dari para ahli yang menjadikan permainan uno satcko arabic kelas XI IPA Madrasah Aliyah bertambah sempurna dan memenuhi standar kualitas permainan yang baik. Abstract

This study aims to determine the difference between the motivation of learning Arabic experimental class (which uses the kahoot application) and the control class (not using the kahoot application) in class X MAN 4 Kebumen. This research is a quasi experimental research. The research sample was taken by purposive sampling technique and class X IPA 1 was taken as a control group and class X IPA 2 as an experimental group. Data collection is done by using a questionnaire, observation and documentation. The instrument validity test was performed using the product moment correlation formula. Reliability test using the Cronbach Alpha formula. Data analysis was performed with prerequisite test analysis and hypothesis testing. The results showed that there were significant differences between the motivation of learning Arabic in the control class and the experimental class. This is indicated by the significance value in the t test of 0.018 <0.05. The average post-test of the experimental class is higher than the average of the post-test of the control class (98,735> 92,363). Keywords: Kahoot Application, Motivation, Arabic Learning

Abstract

The lack of media use during mufradāt learning in grade 4 SD Muhammadiyah Banguntapan was the background for researchers to try out the Secil application media: Learning Arabic + Voice and comic strips. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of learning mufradāt using the Secil application media and comic strip media, and whether or not there is a significant difference between the learning outcomes of the Secil application media user group and the comic strip media. This research is a quantitative study with a comparative research type. This research design used a quasi-experiment. Collecting data using observation, documentation, interviews, and tests. The data analysis technique used the Independent Sample t-Test and the Gain Score test through Microsoft Excel 2016. The results of this study concluded that mufradāt learning with the Secil application media was more effective than comic strip media. Evidenced by the comparison value of the n-gain of the two media is 1.78> 1, which means the effectiveness value of group 1> group 2. Then there is a significant difference between the learning outcomes of the two groups. Based on the results of the Independent Sample t-Test, which shows a significance value of 0.01 <0.05, which means that the application media of Secil: Learning Arabic + Voice is more effective than comic strips in improving mufradāt mastery of 4th-grade students of SD Muhammadiyah Banguntapan. Abstrak: Kurangnya pemanfaatan media saat pembelajaran mufradāt di kelas 4 SD Muhammadiyah Banguntapan melatarbelakangi peneliti untuk mengujicobakan media aplikasi Secil: Belajar Bahasa Arab+Suara dan komik strip. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas pembelajaran mufradāt dengan menggunakan media aplikasi Secil dan media komik strip, dan ada atau tidaknya perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar kelompok pengguna media aplikasi Secil dengan media komik strip. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian komparatif. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan quasi experiment. Pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, dokumentasi, wawancara dan test. Adapun teknik analisis data menggunakan uji Independent Sample t-Test dan Gain Score melalui Microsoft Excel 2016. Hasil dari penelitian ini memperoleh kesimpulan bahwa pembelajaran mufradāt dengan media aplikasi Secil lebih efektif daripada media komik strip. Dibuktikan dengan nilai perbandingan n-gain kedua media ialah 1,78 > 1, yang berarti nilai efektifitas kelompok 1 > kelompok 2. Kemudian terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar kedua kelompok. Didasarkan pada hasil uji Independent Sample t-Test yang menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,01 < 0,05, yang artinya media aplikasi Secil: Belajar Bahasa Arab+Suara lebih efektif daripada komik strip dalam meningkatkan penguasaan mufradāt siswa kelas 4 SD Muhammadiyah Banguntapan.

Abstract

Islam sets the roles and relationship between husband and wife in the family in a balanced manner to create sakinah, mawadah, and rahmah (peaceful, loving, and compassionate) family. A lot of people often underestimate the role of a wife in a family. This paper examined the Masturah (rather than putting Arabic words, it would be better to write the meaning of the Masturah) as the education program for wife in the family of Tablighi Jamaat in Temboro village, Magetan, East Java, Indonesia. This research used a qualitative approach where the data were collected, applying interviews with various family members of the Tablighi Jamaat. The research results show that the Masturah is a closed and private education strategy for a wife (the Masturah) in the families of Tablighi Jamaat, which is performed in the house with religious training and practice. Second, the purpose of the Masturah is to prepare the role of wife as mu’allimah and muta’alimah, daiyah, and a’bidah (teacher and student, preacher, and worshiper). Third, the Masturah helps to increase Iman (the belief in Allah (the practice in worship, appreciation in practicing Islamic religion, improving the knowledge in Islamic teaching, and the increase of motivation in religion and preaching. This research has implications for the importance of religious education for wives to support their husbands' da'wah activities and children's education at home.

Abstract

International NGO Forum on Indonesian Development (INFID) dalam surveinya tentang persepsi dan sikap generasi muda terhadap radikalisme dan ekstrimisme kekerasan, menyatakan bahwa peran orang tua sangat penting dalam Pendidikan agama. Orang tua atau keluarga mempunyai peranan yang amat penting dalam mempengaruhi pendidikan anaknya. Di keluarga orang tua tidak hanya memberikan pengetahuan dalam aspek kognitif, melainkan juga aspek psikomotorik dan afektif. Pendidikan keluarga ranah yang paling efektif untuk mendidik anak dan menyalurkan ide dan gagasan terlebih soal keagamaan. Abstract

This study aims to explain the Integration Interconnection of Psychology Essence in Basics of Education and Learning in the Arabic Language Education Class 1 of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. The purpose of this study was to determine the syllabus of the Basic Education and Learning and its essence to psychology. The research method used in this research is a descriptive analytic method, while the approach used in this study is qualitative. Data collection techniques include observation, and documentation. The results that learning patterns must be carried out in an integrated manner because, psychologically, the development of cognitive abilities, socio-emotional abilities, moral abilities, and physical of students occur in an integrated and interdependent manner. Educational psychology as a science that examines mental problems and a person's psychological activity in relation to education as a process is quite important in examining problems that interfere with or support students' souls in the learning process. Teachers can organize and try to find solutions to this problem. For this matter, a teacher should have a comprehensive knowledge of educational psychology so that learning can take place effectively and directed.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the feasibility of the textbook "Aku Cinta Bahasa Arab" for grade 1 elementary school published by Tiga Serangkai in terms of the psychology of children's cognitive development. This research is library research with content analysis method. The data collection technique in this research is documentation. Sources of data used in this study are books, journals, documents, articles, and other scientific works relevant to the study's object of study. The main topics of this research are theories related to textbook assessment and cognitive development of elementary-age children. The data collection technique in this research is documentation. Furthermore, to process and analyze the data, the author uses the method of content analysis, which is an analysis of the content that focuses on interpretation in terms of assessing the feasibility of textbooks and reviewing theories of cognitive development for elementary-age children. The results of this study indicate that there is a suitability of the assessment of texts with children's cognitive development. However, there are still errors both in terms of technique and substance of the book. Various improvements are needed to be used as learning materials in accordance with the cognitive development of children in the grade 1 elementary school. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan buku teks “Aku Cinta Bahasa Arab” untuk Kelas I Madrasah Ibtidaiah yang diterbitkan oleh Tiga Serangkai ditinjau dengan psikologi perkembangan kognitif anak. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pustaka (library research) dengan metode analisis konten. Teknik pengumpulam data pada penelitian ini adalah dokumentasi. Sumber data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu buku, jurnal, dokumen, artikel, dan karya ilmiah lainnya yang relevan dengan objek kajian pada penelitian ini. Pokok bahasan dalam penelitian ini yaitu teori-teori yang berkaitan dengan penilaian buku teks dan perkembangan kognitif anak usia dasar. Teknik pengumpulam data pada penelitian ini adalah dokumentasi. Selanjutnya, untuk mengolah dan menganalisis data, penulis menggunakan metode content analysis, yaitu analisis terhadap kandungan isi yang berfokus pada interpretasi dari segi penilaian kelayakan buku teks dan ditinjau teori-teori perkembangan kognitif anak usia dasar. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat kesesuaian penilaian buku teks dengan perkembangan kognitif anak, namun masih terdapat kesalahan baik dari sisi teknik maupun substansi buku, dan diperlukan berbagai upaya perbaikan supaya dapat dijadikan bahan belajar yang sesuai dengan perkembangan kognitif anak pada usia kelas satu sekolah dasar.
