Abstract

As an inflection language, the verb in Arabic language (VAB) has many meaning of inflection which is called the conjugation. This research will try to explore the meaning of conjugation and all aspects inside the verb in Arabic Language (VAB). This research is very important because in Arabic language, based on the morphology, Arabic language was classified as an inflection language. In the other side, Bahasa Indonesia was categorized as agglutinative language. Thus, it was need the contrastive study toward the conjugation meanings of VAB and how to reveal the conjugation meanings of VAB and how to reveal it in Indonesian language. The method used in this research such as: the data collection, the data analysis, and the report of research’s data analysis results. The method of collecting the data was occured by observing the conjugation of verbs and also by ensuring the meanings from the books of Arabic gramatical.  The analysis method that has been used in this research is distributional method combined by the technique of opposition, the technique of directly substances divided, the technique of ellipsis and the technique of change; and also the method of translational equal, such as the technique of classifying the certain substance and also the technique of connecting and comparing. The report of data analysis was delivered by the formal and informal type of reporting data. The result of this research is concluded that the VAB is not including all of the meaning of conjugation inflection.

Abstract

Pedoman ejaan di Indonesia mengalami perubahan dan perkembangan. Artikel ini membahas dua masalah meliputi: (1) bagaimana perkembangan ejaan dalam bahasa Indonesia? (2) bagaimana ciri-ciri tiap ejaan? Tujuan dalam karya ilmiah ini meliputi: (1) mendeskripsikan perkembangan ejaan bahasa Indonesia, (2) mendeskripsikan ciri-ciri tiap ejaan.Perkembangan ejaan bahasa Indonesia dimulai pada tahun 1901 hingga tahun 2015.Tahun 1901 ejaan yang diberlakukan bernama Ejaan van Ophuijsen. Tahun 1947 terdapat Ejaan Republik. Tahun 1956 terjadi pembahasan Ejaan Pembaharuan yang urung diberlakukan. Tahun 1959 terjadi pembahasan Ejaan Melindo yang urung diberlakukan. Tahun 1967 terdapat Ejaan Baru. Tahun 1972 dan tahun 1988 diberlakukan EYD. Tahun 2009 diberlakukan PUEYD. Tahun 2015 diberlakukan PUEBI. Ketujuh ejaan tersebut memiliki ciri khusus. Ejaan van Ophuijsen memiliki enam ciri khusus. Ejaan Republik memiliki lima ciri khusus. Ejaan Pembaharuan memiliki empat ciri khusus. Ejaan Melindo memiliki enam ciri khusus. Ejaan Baru tidak memiliki ciri khusus karena sama dengan EYD.PUEYD tahun 1972 memiliki tujuh ciri khusus. PUEYD tahun 1988 memilikilima ciri khusus. PUEYD tahun 2009 memiliki empat ciri khusus. PUEBI memiliki lima ciri khusus.Kata kunci: ejaan, perkembangan, ciri khusus.

Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian inibagaimanakah proses belajar menulis teks eksposisi dan hasil belajar menulis teks eksposisi melalui metode take and give dengan pemanfaatan strategi 3W2H pada Kelas X IPA 1 SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Jember. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan proses belajar menulis teks eksposisi dan hasil belajar menulis teks eksposisi melalui metode take and give dengan pemanfaatan strategi 3W2H pada Kelas X IPA 1 SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Jember. Penelitian Tindkan Kelas ini meggunakan desain penelitian menurut Arikunto dengan dua siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X IPA 1 yang berjumlah 21 siswa. Lokasi penelitian di SMA Muhammadiyah Jember.  Prosedur penelitian terdiri dari empat tahap, yaitu tahap perencanaan, tahap tindakan, tahap observasi, dan tahap refleksi. Penelitian tindakan kelas sukses atau berhasil apabila nilai siswa lebih besar atau sama dengan nilai 87, dan secara klaksikal jumlah siswa yang mendapat nilai sesuai kritreria ketuntasan mencapai 19-21 siswa. Instrumen penelitian meliputi instrument tes, lembar observasi, dan angket siswa. Proses belajar siswa semakin meningkat dari pretes (2,375), siklus 1 (3,408), dan siklus 2 (4,618). Hasil belajar siswa semakin meningkat dari prasiklus (83,19), siklus 1 (99,19), dan siklus 2 (104,57).

Abstract

Bahasa Melayu dan bahasa Jawa memiliki pengaruh yang kuat terhadap lahirnya bahasa Indonesia. Kedua bahasa tersebut akhirnya mendukung keberadaan dan kemajuan bahasa Indonesia. Tujuan dalam karya ilmiah ini meliputi: (1) mendeskripsikan perkembangan dan peran bahasa Melayu, (2) mendeskripsikan perkembangan dan peran bahasa Jawa. Berdasarkan masalah dan tujuan tersebut, maka ditemukan bahwa perkembangan bahasa Melayu dimulai dari dari bahasa Melayu Kuno, lalu menjadi bahasa Melayu Klasik, hingga menjadi bahasa Indonesia. Bahasa Melayu berperan (1) sebagai penyumbang awalan, sisipan, dan akhiran; (2) sebagai penyumbang ide awal tentang aturan ejaan; dan (3) sebagai penyumbang kosakata dalam bahasa Indonesia. Perkembangan Jawa terjadi dalam empat tahap, yaitu: bahasa Jawa Kuna, bahasa Jawa Pertengahan, bahasa Jawa Baru, dan bahasa Jawa Gagrag Anyar. Bahasa Jawa berperan (1) sebagai penyebab transferensi dan interferensi terhadap bahasa Indonesia; (2) sebagai penyumbang kosakata dalam bahasa Indonesia; (3) sebagai pengingat kenusantaraan dan kejawaan penutur bahasa Jawa.Kata kunci: perkembangan, bahasa Melayu, bahasa Jawa, bahasa Indonesia

Abstract

The Kartini Muda activity in literature is a poetry reading activity held by Hima PBSI FKIP Muria Kudus University which was attended by seventeen high school students in Pati Residency, Central Java Province. The background of this research is that there are many literary activities or poetry reading competitions held by institutions or communities in the community, but not many analyze and describe the poetry skills of the participants in detail. Even though the analysis and description are important to be known by participants, the community, teachers, and also students because they can be used as references for poetry reading assessments. The purpose of this study is to describe poetry reading skills in young Kartini videos with literature. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The data used are poetry reading videos sent by participants. The results showed that reading poetry in the Kartini Muda Bersastra activity in terms of appreciation, expression, pronunciation, intonation, and appearance were very good, good, adequate, and lacking; while for the appearance of all students have shown a pretty good poetry reading.

Abstract

This article examines the analysis of sentence types in the History Text of Class XI Sociology Books in the Merdeka Curriculum. The content of this study uses narrative text. The purpose of this study is to describe functions, categories, and roles at the syntactic level. sentences in the presentation of sociology book material for class XI SMA/MA contained in Chapter 2 Social Problems Due to Social Grouping pages 41 to 81. This research is a literature study. Therefore, the method used in collecting data is reading and taking notes. The collected data were analyzed by descriptive analysis. In qualitative research, data is analyzed inductively, which means that specific things found during the research are grouped and conclusions are drawn from these results. This approach does not use the collected data to prove or disprove the hypotheses that have been made before but rather focuses on describing data to facilitate understanding. The writing method of this research adopts historiography as the main approach. Sentence structure analysis is also used to improve grammar skills and abilities to better understand. Sentence structure analysis itself is a topic that is rarely discussed. To improve the application of linguistic rules in writing historical texts, a good understanding of grammar, a broad vocabulary, and a habit of reading and writing historical texts are required. Therefore by analyzing sentence structures in historical texts in Sociology Class XI books SMA/SMA/ MA Kurikulum Merdeka, this research provides an overview of the variations in the use of sentence structures and the importance of correct grammar in understanding texts. It is hoped that this research can improve understanding of syntax and grammar which will facilitate understanding of sociology and historical texts.

Abstract

Poetry is a form of a variety of literature and language that is bound by rhythm, meter, rhyme, as well as the arrangement of lines and stanzas, and based on its types, poetry has several types of narrative, lyric, and descriptive. The relationship between types of poetry and writing poetry is that poetry is a literary work that contains the poet's responses and opinions about various things. Students prefer to rewrite poetry that has been presented in books, so research on the suitability of the title and content needs to be carried out to develop students' abilities. The poems written by students in this research were poetry compositions that they wrote themselves. What is related to cohesion in student poetry starts from diction. Choosing the right and appropriate words to express an idea or thought. Poetry is the result of a poet's interpretation of life. This is how. Using Indonesian, the words literature, susastra, literature and literature have different meanings. The word literature used to be written as literature, but as language developed it was later written as literature. The word literature comes from Sanskrit, namely from the root word cas and the addition -tra. The word cas means 'to teach', while the suffix -tra means 'tool'. So, castra means 'tool for teaching'.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the use of social media Twitter which attracts its users with informative and popular content. Twitter has succeeded in reaching users from various groups, from officials to the general public. The features in it allow for unlimited communication. This research focuses on analyzing the principles of jokes in tweets from the Twitter account @kaesangp. The principle of joking is a method that is intended to offend feelings by being friendly or in the form of a basis for making conclusions that are true and false; an intentional violation of the maxims of politeness; and disclosure of taboo things in a speech. In accordance with the focus of the research objectives, pragmatic theory is used and is related to the principle of jokes. This research use desciptive qualitative approach. The listening method and note-taking technique were used as data collection methods. As the end of the research objective, results were obtained in the form of utterances in tweets from the Twitter account @kaesangp which contained utterances with the principle of joking. The research results were obtained from the classification and decomposition based on the type of joking speech, including satire, banter and jokes. The benefit of this research is to find out the principles of jokes contained in the tweets of related Twitter accounts.

Abstract

Speech acts in pragmatic science are divided into several types, one of which is representative speech acts. Speech acts that bind the speaker to the truth of what he says are representative speech acts. Speeches that include speech acts can be found in learning videos. Based on this, this study analyzes the representative speech acts contained in the learning video. The data used in the research is in the form of learning videos in the "Summary of Indonesian Language Materials Class 7 K-13" playlist on the Youtube channel "Edukasi Portal". This study aims to provide exposure and describe various representative speech acts contained in the data source. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. It was found in Chapter 1 ''Description Text'' material, 1 0 data were produced, 1 2 data was found in Chapter 2 ''National Text'', 9 representative speech data were found in Chapter 3 ''Procedural Text'' , and 12 speech data were found. on the material of Chapter 4 ''Text of Observation Results'' and as many as 12 data on the material of Chapter 5 ''People's Poetry''. This research is useful for readers in facilitating understanding of representative speech acts. With the analysis of representative speech acts, it is hoped that readers can fully understand and comprehend representative speech acts. This research is useful for readers in facilitating their understanding of representative speech acts .

Abstract

Language politeness is something important in the communication process. The principle of politeness is everything related to the rules in speech acts. In this case, the principle of politeness has a very important role so that communication goes well and can be accepted by the speech partner so that both speakers are able to understand the topic being discussed. The analysis of language politeness in this study was in the form of five videos, each of which lasted approximately ten minutes. The purpose of this research is to find out and describe the principles of politeness in the language used in the “Jelas Deh!” program. The method used is through a theoretical approach in the form of thimble studies in the principle of politeness in language. Researchers used data collection techniques, the data collected in the form of oral speech as the object of research in a conversation. Then proceed by using the listening technique and note-taking technique. In this analysis, ten kinds of thimbles were found, including generosity, wisdom, appreciation, simplicity, apology, forgiveness, consensus, opinion, sympathy, and feelings. In this analysis, it was found that a total of 76 data on the use of thimbles were complied with.
