Abstract

The research is aimed to know teachers perception towards coaching the professional competence of teachers by the principal at Junior High School 18 Padang. The Population of this research is all teachers of Junior High School 18 Padang which has total numbers 77 people. Technique sample ofis Stratified Random Sampling, by using Cochran formula. Sample in this research 39 people. The data is analyzed trough average score. The overall research result is that coaching the pofessional competence of teachers by the principal at Junior High School 18 Padang is good enough. Abstract

Anggapan bahwa matematika sulit dan besarnya rasa takut siswa untuk bertanya pada guru menjadi permasalahan sendiri dalam pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah hasil belajar matematika siswa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT lebih baik dari hasil belajar matematika siswa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran konvensional Fase F SMA N 5 Padang. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian eksperimen, desain penelitian yang digunakan quasi experimental design. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa Fase F SMA N 5 Padang yang terdaftar pada tahun pelajaran 2023/2024 yang berjumlah sembilan kelas. Data hasil belajar matematika siswa pada sampel kelas eksperimen berdistribusi tidak normal dan kelas kontrol berdistribusi normal, mempunyai variansi yang homogen. Karena salah satu sampel tidak normal maka dilakukan uji non parametrik dengan menggunakan uji Man-Whitney U. Setelah dilakukan pengolahan data hipotesis H0 ditolak sehingga H1 diterima dan dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar matematika siswa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT lebih baik dari hasil belajar matematika siswa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran konvensional pada siswa Fase F SMA N 5 Padang.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of enzyme concentration and hydrolysis time on the yield of microcrystalline cellulose, and to determine whether the results of microcrystalline cellulose examination met the requirements of the British Pharmacopoeia and the United States Pharmacopoeia . The pretreatment process was carried out chemically using 96% alcohol, sodium hydroxide and hydrogen peroxide. The hydrolysis process was carried out enzymatically using the cellulase enzyme produced by the fungus Trichoderma viride , with variations in enzyme concentration of 5, 10 and 15% v/v for 0.5, 1 and 1.5 hours respectively. The highest yield of microcrystalline cellulose was produced from the hydrolysis process with a cellulase enzyme concentration of 5% v/v for 1.5 hours. Based on the two-way ANOVA test, it is known that the enzyme concentration and hydrolysis time have no significant effect on the yield of microcrystalline cellulose. Examination of organoleptic, identification, pH, water solubility, drying shrinkage, and starch absence test showed that the resulting microcrystalline cellulose complied with the requirements of the British Pharmacopoeia and the United States Pharmacopoeia.
