Abstract

mHealth application has rapidly gained its popularity since the COVID-19pandemic stroke the world. Looking at its promising future in function and variousadvantages, we conducted a study to observe the effect of e-service quality oncustomer satisfaction, customer trust, and subsequently customer retention. Thisstudy uses quantitative method, the population is users of mobile healthapplications who are of productive age. The sampling technique used is simplerandom sampling with the criteria of respondents who have used the mHealthapplication as many as 149 respondents. From the results of our study, it wasfound that e-service quality has a positive relationship with customer satisfactionand trust, customer satisfaction and trust have a positive relationship withcustomer retention. However, e-service quality does not have a direct relationshipwith customer retention. This may be influenced by application factors that oftencrash or user doubts about their privacy when providing information inapplications, as well as comparisons between applications in terms of price andquality of service.

Abstract

The research aimed to find out the influence and impacts of social media marketing (SMM) in promoting micro, small,  and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia. The approach of research was a quantitative research with data collection method using electronic questionnaires of Google forms obtaining 163 respondents who were owners of MSMEs in  Jakarta and Tangerang. The measurement model of outer and inner model was analyzed by SmartPLS software. Structural Equation Model was being used to test the relations of each construct. The findings show that SMM positively mediates: 1) the relationship between perceived usefulness and impact on business; 2) the relationship between  perceived ease of use and impact on business; 3) the relationship between compatibility and impact on business; 4)  the relationship between cost and impact on business, which conclude that SMM has positive impacts on business. On  the other hand, SMM negatively mediates the relationship between facilitating conditions and impact on business. The research implies that the adoption of social media marketing by MSMEs is encouraged by such factors as usefulness, ease of use, compatibility, and cost. Hence, it is advisable that MSMEs facilitate the employees with technical infrastructures  and training to increase productivity and performance.

Abstract

Background: The quality of management has become a problem and significant issue of the late decade in Indonesia's professional nursing practice. By implementing total quality management (TQM), the organization would identify a health organization system's performance to improve patient satisfaction and patient safety for independent nursing practice services. Objective: This study aimed to assess the quality of independent nursing practice in Indonesia based on TQM indicators.Methods: This study employed a sequential explanatory mixed methods design. Participants were 105 Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) of independent nursing practices who answered a TQM survey using The Malcolm Baldrige Criteria for Performance Excellence (MBCfPE). The quantitative responses were analyzed using SmartPLS version 3.0. For qualitative data, selected six participants from total respondents were interviewed to explore the participants' understanding of TQM. All the responses were transcribed and uploaded using NVIVO ver. 11 for thematic analysis.Results: Leadership positively influenced strategic planning, customer attention, assessment analysis, and information management (focusing on personnel process management and efficiency) (p <0.001). In addition, process management indicated a positive influence on performance results (p <0.001). Interview transcriptions concentrated on the following themes that emerged, such as quality focus, service focus, human resource focus, performance result, leadership, service system design, strategic planning, and information system.Conclusion: TQM with the adaptation of MBCfPE criteria improves the organization's performance and serves as a strategic component in assessing and implementing sustainability change. The findings of this study can be used by CEOs of independent nursing practices for continuous improvement. In addition, the results serve as a basis for the ministry of health for accreditation to ensure the high quality of health care services.

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Prevalensi penyakit scabies di Indonesia semakin membesar 4,60 – 12,95 % dan penyakit ini menduduki urutan ketiga dari dua belas penyakit kulit tersering. Skabies merupakan penyakit infeksi parasit pada kulit yang disebabkan oleh masuknya organisme Sarcoptes scabiei. Skabies menular melalui kontak langsung seperti berjabat tangan ataupun tidak langsung seperti mengenakan handuk bersama. Penyakit ini sering terjadi karena personal hygiene yang kurang baik, dan rendahnya tingkat pengetahuan masyarakat mengenai penyakit ini. Tujuan penelitian: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat pendidikan, tingkat dan pendapatan orang tua dengan kejadian skabies di Puskesmas Medan Sunggal.. Metode: Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasional analitik dengan desain cross sectional dengan sampel sebanyak 42 orang. Hasil: Distribusi frekuensi responden berdasarkan frekuensi kejadian skabies dijumpai 18 orang mengalami skabies (42,9%) berdasarkan tingkat pendidikan paling banyak pada tingkat pendidikan SD - SMP yakni 24 orang (57,1%), berdasarkan tingkat pendidikan paling banyak pada responden dengan pendapatan < UMR yakni 23 orang (54,3%). Berdasarkan uji statistic Chi Square diperoleh hasil p = 0,040 untuk hubungan kejadian scabies dengan tingkat Pendidikan, p = 0,001 untuk hubungan kejadian scabies dengan tingkat pendapatan, yang berarti terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kejadian scabies dengan tingkat Pendidikan dan tingkat pendapatan. Kesimpulan: Pengetahuan masyarakat yang kurang mengetahui tentang penyakit skabies pada tingkat awal masuk terutama yang tinggal di asrama pondok pesantren bersiko mudah tertular berbagai penyakit khususnya skabies. Masyarakat juga kurang mengetahui penyebab dari skabies misalnya hanya mengetahui kebersihan diri yang kurang baik dan mereka menganggap penyakit skabies merupakan penyakit yang biasa saja seperti kudis dan cacar air.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Batak Toba values and Christian values on the tourism service quality. This study is a quantitative study with 267 respondents. Data were analyzed using Smart PLS. The results of this study are that the Batak Toba values and Christian values have a significant influence on the tourism service quality and Batak Toba values has a more significant influence than Christian values on the tourism service quality. While the most significant variable dimension is the hamoraon (wealth) dimension, followed by patience and generosity in second and third positions. This study is input for tourism actors in the Lake Toba Area in improving the tourism service quality, especially by providing guidance on what values need to be prioritized to develop the tourism service quality. This study is still an initial study and has the potential to trigger further, more in-depth research to answer the question of why Batak Toba Values has a more significant influence than Christian values on tourism service quality. Or expand the scope research by examining the influence of Batak Toba values and Christian values on tourist satisfaction and other dependent variables

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Diare masih menjadi salah satu penyebab utama kesakitan dan kematian yang terjadi hampir di seluruh dunia. Kemenkes RI mengatakan bahwa penderita diare tercatat pada Profil Kesehatan Indonesia tahun 2019 sebesar 2.549 orang. Kemudian, di Kabupaten Deli Serdang sendiri terdapat kasus sebanyak 15.185 orang. Terjadinya diare disebabkan oleh minimnya berperilaku hidup bersih dan sehat (PHBS). Tujuan penelitian: Untuk mengetahui pengaruh PHBS dalam pencegahan diare pada anak usia sekolah di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Bandar Khalifa. Metode: Cross sectional study dengan pendekatan metode survei analitik. Populasi sampel sebesar 115 dengan perolehan jumlah sampel sebesar 89 responden. Analisis data dilakukan dengan Chi Square. Hasil: Terdapat hubungan signifikan antara PHBS dengan kejadian diare pada anak usia sekolah di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Bandar Khalifah (p value= 0,000). Frekuensi sampel yang mengalami diare sebanyak 47 sampel, ditunjukkan dengan sebanyak 48 sampel masuk dalam kategori jarang melakukan PHBS.  Kesimpulan: Tingginya frekuensi kejadian diare disebabkan oleh meningkatnya faktor risiko, seperti kurangnya kebiasaan mencuci tangan dengan sabun sebelum makan dan setelah BAB.
