Abstract

Education serves as a means to shape an intelligent and character-driven generation, signifying its crucial role in creating and enhancing the quality of human resources. However, in reality, lecturers have not differentiated projects or products based on students' learning styles, be it visual, auditory, or kinesthetic. This indicates a lack of implementation of differentiated learning by the lecturers. This research aims to: (1) Analyze the teaching strategies applied by lecturers while teaching in the Information Technology Education Program (PTI); (2) Analyze the types of final projects or products given by lecturers during teaching in the PTI courses; (3) Analyze the factors causing lecturers not to provide projects or products based on students' learning styles. The research design is descriptive qualitative. The population consists of students in the Information Technology Education Program (PTI) at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) at the University of Lampung. The sample for this study includes PTI students taking the Digital Circuit course in the Academic Year 2022-2023. To address the research questions, qualitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. Learning style test data were presented as frequencies and percentages. Data from interviews were then described. Findings from the learning style tests were triangulated with the interview data. Based on the conducted research, it is evident that students with a visual learning style tend to produce projects or products in the form of PowerPoint presentations or posters. On the other hand, students with an auditory learning style tend to create projects or products in the form of podcasts. In contrast, students with a kinesthetic learning style tend to generate projects or products in the form of videos. Kata kunci: Gaya Belajar, Pembelajaran Berdiferensiasi, Pendidikan Teknologi Informasi

Abstract

High School Mathematics Teacher’s Ability in in Developing Instruments of Mathematical Literacy Test: Study in Lampung Timur Regency. This study aims to describe the ability of high school mathematics teachers in East Lampung Regency in developing instruments of mathematical literacy test. This research is a descriptive study with 19 respondents of high school mathematics teachers. The research data were obtained through test, performance test and questionnaires. Data analyzed using data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The results showed that: a) 63.16% teachers only able to create routine problem which measure employing stage in mathematical process; b) male teachers with more than 25 years teaching experience are only able to develop 5.26% mathematical problems which measure formulating stage; c) Reasoning and argument is the fundamental mathematics skills that was rarely measured in the developed instrument; d) using symbolic, formal and technical language and operations is the most frequently skills that is measured in the developed instrument. Keywords: mathematical literacy instrument, high school teacher, descriptive research. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpmipa/v21i1.pp35-48

Abstract

Merebaknya virus Covid-19 yang melanda seluruh belahan dunia menuntut semua orang yang berasal dari semua bidang, termasuk para pelaku bidang pendidikan untuk menggunakan sistem Belajar Dari Rumah (BDR). Praktikum mahasiswa pada normalnya dilakukan secara langsung dengan praktik di laboratorium. Namun dengan adanya kebijakan BDR menyebabkan praktikum dilakukan secara online dengan mengamati video dan materi praktikum yang dibagikan oleh dosen ataupun asisten dosen. Dengan demikian pengembangan teknologi Augmented Reality sebagai pendukung praktikum Mekanika dan Termodinamika Dasar berbasis android dapat mendukung praktikum online. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kevalidan dan kepraktisan aplikasi AR sebagai pendukung praktikum Mekanika dan Termodinamika Dasar berbasis android sebagai pendukung praktikum Mahasiswa Pendidikan Fisika Universitas Lampung. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah model ADDIE yang terdiri atas tahapan Analisis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Data yang digunakan yaitu angket validasi ahli dan angket respon pengguna. Berdasarkan angket validasi ahli dinyatakan valid dengan nilai rata-rata uji ahli isi 78% dan uji ahli media 98%. Penilaian yang didapat dari uji respons mahasiswa mendapat rata-rata 77% dan uji respons dosen dengan nilai rata-rata 78%.
